When the battery is not in use, store it away from any metal objects
that could make a connection between the battery connector pins. A
short circuit between the battery connectors may cause a re.
Avoid mechanical loads or exposure to high temperatures. These can
damage the battery cells and cause the ammable contents to leak
out.
Charging the battery may produce heat. Do not place the charger
or the battery near ammable materials to avoid res. Make sure the
battery is dry and placed on a clean reproof surface before charging.
Only use your original Valeo charger to charge your battery. Using a
charger not provided by Valeo may cause damage to the battery and
a risk of re cannot be excluded. The e-bike battery must not be left
unattended while charging.
If used incorrectly, liquid may escape from the battery. Avoid
any contact with this liquid. If contact happens, rinse off with
water. If the liquid comes into contact with your eyes, seek
additional medical attention. Liquid leaking from thebattery
may cause irritation or scalding.
Mechanical shocks can damage the battery. Fumesmaybegenerated
by the battery when damaged or used incorrectly. The fumes may
irritate the respiratory system, ensure the area is well ventilated and
seek medical attention if you experience any effects.
Use the Valeo Battery exclusively with an e-bike originally equipped
with a Valeo Cyclee™ system.
Use only original Valeo batteries approved for your e-bike. Using other
batteries can lead to injuries and is a re hazard. Valeo accepts no
liability or warranty claims if other batteries are used.
Batteries mounted on the rack of the e-bike cannot be used as a
handle. Doing so can damage the battery.
Keep the battery away from children.
Read all user manuals provided with your Valeo e-bike
system. These manuals contain crucial information about
the components of your e-bike and their interaction with
each other.
