•Unpack the appliance an make sure that it is intact an un amage (fig.1 – page 12). In
case of any oubt o not use the appliance an contact an expert technician.
•Before connecting the appliance to the main power source make sure that rating power
source from the outlet socket correspon s to the technical ata of the appliance which can
also be foun on the ata sticker place on the bottom of appliance. (fig.2 – page 12)
•Do not touch hot surfaces (i.e. steam wan ). Use han les or knobs.
•To protect against fire, electric shock an personal injury, o not place cor , plug or the

•The appliance must not be unplugge by pulling the cor or the appliance itself. (fig.6 –
page 12). Unplug the appliance from outlet socket by pulling the cor plug.
•Before plugging in the appliance to the outlet make sure that the main switch is in the OFF
position.

necessary repairs, please contact the service center (fig.12 – page 12). If the appliance is

•Do not use the steam to clean other electrical appliances (fig. 14 – page 12), even if they are
not connecte to the main electric power source.
•Never put etergents, perfumes or any other natural or chemical substances into the water
refilling boiler. (fig. 15 – page 12).
•Fill the boiler with only water.
•The use of other accessories which are not recommen e by the appliance's manufacturer
may cause problem in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
•Do not let the power cor hang over the e ge of a table or a counter, o not put it in touch
with hot surfaces. The use of an extension cor is not recommen e , but if it is necessary to
have one please use at least a 14 gauge commercial extension cor . Anything higher is not
strong enough an can put an electrical strain on the appliance.
•Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heate oven.

S ORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
•The state electrical rating of the extension cor shoul be as great as the appliance
electrical rating. At least a 14 gauge commercial extension cor is recommen e .
•If the appliance plug is groun e , the extension cor shoul be a 3-wire groun e extension
cor .
•The longer cor shoul be arrange so that it will not rape over the counter-top or tabletop,
where it may be pulle by chil ren or acci entally trippe over.
•The use of a generator is not recommen e for this appliance as the electrical current
provi e to the unit fluctuates an causes stain. If it is necessary to use a generator, the use
of a voltage regulator shoul be applie .
HOW TO USE
The appliance can be use with the relate accessories for cleaning.
STARTING UP
SUGGESTIONS:
To preserve the appliance we recommend using distilled water, reverse
osmosis, normal city tap water, spring water, or bottled drinking water. Do not
use water filtered through a water softener.
Open the safety cap an fill the boiler with a maximum of 1.6 liters of water (fig.16 – page 13).
Close the cap.
Lift the main unit socket li (fig.19 – page 7) an insert the
connector of the steam flexible hose (fig.18 – page 7). Make sure
the pin of the li is firmly locke into the hose connector.
Once locke try to pull the connector (fig. 18 – page 7) to make
sure it has been properly locke .
Fit the esire accessory on the steam han le (fig. 21 – page 13).
To remove the accessory press the button an pull it out (fig. 22 –
page 13).
Connect the electric power cor (fig. 11 – page 12) into the electrical wall outlet socket.
Switch ON the appliance by pressing the upper part of the switch button (fig. 24 – page 13); the
orange light will turn ON. When the green/amber rea y light turns ON (fig.4 - page 12), the
appliance is rea y to use. The pressure-gauge will show the actual pressure measure in bars. The
nee le will peak between 4 an 4.5 bars.

Press the trigger on the han le to steam (fig. 19 – page 13), hol the trigger presse to continuously
steam an release the trigger to stop the steam.
During the initial heat up process, the air inside the boiler always produces a
pressure that restricts the steam output. Therefore, after the first minute of
heating up, press the button on the handle a few times to release the air.
The steam regulator knob controls the steam output (fig. 20 – page 13) an
it turns 360°.
Turn the knob to the left to increase the steam output volume. This
provi es wetter steam an faster pressure loss. Turn the knob to the right
to lower the steam output volume. This provi es ryer steam with
minimal pressure loss.
NOTE: Steam output volume will iminish faster if kept open at the
maximum. Mi to low setting is the best for most applications an it
maintains consistent steam output.
If the orange warning light turns ON (fig. 5 – page 12) as well as the au ible buzzer, it means the
there is lack of water in the boiler. Open the boiler cap an fill the boiler with water. The machine
may be left on when filling the machine.
USING THE ACCESSORIES
All the accessories can be fitte irectly onto the han le or onto the extension tubes.
Caution: check that the surfaces and the fabrics that you wish to steam clean
are suitable for this type of treatment before starting to clean them.
Rectangular floor brush with clips can be use with or without the cloth, for cleaning all smooth
floor surfaces an to freshen up carpets (Fig. 23 – page 13). Note: if using a cloth, if you may also
fin that fol ing the cloth twice or even three time works best to create more of a “mop” like fabric
for better cleaning.
Caution: in the case of delicate surfaces always use the cloth.
Triangular brush – can be use with a cloth wrappe aroun for cleaning pa ing, mattresses,
kitchen furniture, har to reach places an to freshen up garments.
Win ow squeegee - is for cleaning win ows, mirrors, shower walls, etc. (fig. 25 – page 13). To use,
steam the glass first to loosen up any resi ue then put a cloth on the win ow seal or oor track an
use squeegee at the top an work your way own to wipe glass clean. Con ensation will run own
the glass as you work an the cloth will absorb it.

Caution: when cleaning cold glass surfaces always keep at a distance of at
least 20 inches and work only with the minimum quantity of steam. (The non-
observance of this precaution can cause the glass to break.)
Use the jet nozzle with or without a etail brush an /or scraper/ spatula for cleaning points that are
ifficult to reach such as washbasins, gout lines, toilet bowls an surfaces in very narrow areas.
Caution: do not use the round brush and/or spatula on delicate surfaces. Also,
the need to be aggressive is not necessary as the steam does the work for you
and the accessory may break under back and forth stress.
Scraper/ Spatula - for cleaning ovens, grills, barbecues, fireplaces an so forth.
When cleaning elicate objects (plants) always keep at a istance of 7 to 15 inches an avoi irect
contact with the steam (Fig. 26 – page 13). A towel can be use on han to wipe up any resi ue.
AFTER STEAM CLEANING
When you have finishe cleaning with your steam cleaner, switch off the appliance an leave it to
cool it own completely before putting it away. You o not nee to empty your machine after if it is
being use on a weekly to two week basis.
LIMESTONE REMOVAL
In or er to guarantee the maximum uration of the appliance, we recommen to empty the boiler
each 6-12 months by ismantling the li of the rainage nut positione in the bottom part of the
appliance (fig. 27 – page 13) an by unscrewing the nut with the equippe rainage hexagonal
spanner (Fig. L).To remove the limestone use the generally available anti-limestone pro ucts. After
the cleaning reassemble the screw an the li .
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The water filter must be perio ically cleane . Remove it from the opening where the water is
poure in. When carrying out maintenance operations, the appliance must not be plugge into the
electric socket outlet. Perio ical checks carrie out by an authorize Servicing Center an will
increase the life an the reliability of your appliance. Keep the original carton in which your
appliance was packe to protect it uring transport. In most cases, this can be instructe easily over
the phone by your U.S. service representative.
