1. Introduction

O nly use with compatible rechargeable batteries. Any attempt to recharge
other battery typesor non-rechargeable batteriesmay result in exploding
batteries, injury and a damaged device.

4. Features

When the battery voltage reaches the next stage, one more bare will be
added. No battery level icon will be displayed in the c orresponding

Due to different battery types, deviationbetween the value on the
indicator and the battery’s actual capacity exist. I n addition, when the
battery is c harging, the LCD displays the battery’s charging voltage
(inc luding the voltage generated by the battery’s internal resistance).
When the battery is fully charged or not connected, the LCDdisplays
the no-load voltage of the battery.
6. Operation
Before charging your batteries, c heck that the battery types are c ompatible
with the VLEVP2. T hen, determine the suitable charge current and voltage
settings for them.
Remark
Damage c anoccur to the batteries and charger if incompatible batteries are
ins erted, or if impropercharge current and voltage settings are s elected.
Charging Batteries
1. C onnect the supplied power adapter to the VLEVP2. The VLEVP2
performs a s elf-check, turning on two LEDs (red s tatus indicator).
During the s elf-check, the LCD displays the battery powerindicator
and the selected voltage. After about two seconds, the two indicators
turn green. T he charger thenswitchesto standby mode, no battery
ic on will be displayed but the s elected voltage and default 0 .25 A
charge current.
2. Slide the voltage s etting switch to c hoose the suitable voltage for your
battery. T he LCDwill display the corresponding selected voltage. For
example, if your battery’s nominal voltage is 3 .6 V / 3 .7 V, thenyou
s hould choose the 3.6 V voltage.

3. C hoose the charge current that best suits your rechargeable Li-ion
batteries:
0.25 A
s uitable for 10440-18700 Li-ionbatteries
0.5 A
s uitable for 18700-26650 Li-ionbatteries with
capacity ≥ 2 500mAh

20 00 mAh, 1 A is the large charge c urrent for fast
charging
4. P ress the CC button one or more times to c hange to a different c harge
current. C urrent arrangement is 0 .25 A - 0.5 A - 1 A - 0.25A.
5. During charging, double-press the c urrent c hange button to check the
s elected voltage setting. The corresponding LCD displays the selected
voltage. Choose the voltage s etting suitable for your battery. After
about 3 s econds, the LCD reverts to show the c harge current, battery
real-time voltage and c harge status.
6. When the battery is fully charged, the VLEVP2 stops c harging, and the
s tatus indicator turns green. T he bars on the LCD will notbe added
again. Itis recommendedthat you remove the batteries from the
charger once charging has completed. I f batteries are left in the
charger after charging c ompletes, the c hargerwill automatically restart
the c harging cycle when the voltage drops below 3.9 V or 3.3 V, based
on the c hosenvoltage s etting.
7. D uring c harging, press and hold the c harge current s etting button
1.5 s econds to switch the LCD on or off. T he LCD is s witched on by
default.
USB Power Output Mode
1. E nsure that the VLEVP2 is not connected to any power source. I nsert a
battery (≥ 2 000 mAh) into the CH1 slot, being c areful to insert it with
the c orrect polarity. P ress and holdthe buttonfor 1.5 s econds to s tart
the U SB power output function. After the LEDindicator turns green,
you c anc onnect an external device to the USB port. I n USB output
mode, the LCD is invalid.
2. When finished using the USB power output, disconnect the external
device, press and hold the button for 1.5 seconds to switch off the USB
power output. After the status indicator extinguishes, remove the
battery.
3. When battery c apacity is above 50 % , the LED indicator is green;
when c apacity is 25 % to 50 % , the LED indicator is red; when
c apacity is 5 % to 25 %, the LED indicator flashes red.
4. When the battery c apacity is low than 5 %, the USB power output
switches off automatically.

Remarks
T he VLEVP2 is only for use with 3.0 V / 3 .2 V, 3.6 V / 3 .7 V, 3.8 V
rec hargeable Li-ion or LiFePO batteries. Charging other battery types
may be hazardous, and can damage the batteriesand charger.
T he VLEVP2 has an integrated short-circuit protection to protect the
charger if a short c ircuit occurs in a battery. Note that this short-circuit
protection protects the charger and doesnot prevent batteries from
s hort-circuiting internally.
Keep the VLEVP2 away fromwater and excessive dust.
Do not disassemble the VLEVP2as damage may result.
D o not use a damaged VLEVP2.
Tips
T he USB power output is only available when no externalpower source
is c onnected and the battery is inserted into the CH1 s lot.
P ress and hold the c harge current s etting to check the selected voltage.
Suitable voltage is s trongly being recommended.
Because of different battery types, c apacities and over-charge depths,
the battery revive time may vary. Heavily over-dischargedbatteries
may not be able to be revived.
D o not judge the battery is being c harged or not when it is in the
process of activation.
T o lengthen the over-discharged battery’s lifespan, a 0 .25 A c harge
current and suitable voltage are strongly beingrecommended.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
T his device does not need any particular maintenance. However,
occasionally clean it with a dampc loth to keep it like new.
