•Do not touch unused te minals when the mete is linked
to a ci cuit which is being tested.

Only use the mete in the indicated ove voltage/installation catego y. Neve measu e voltages
that might exceed the indicated catego y values.

Disconnect the test leads f om the tested ci cuit befo e otating the ange
change functions.

Do not perform resistance measurements on live circuits.
Make sure all capacitors in the circuit are discharged.

Do not perform transistor measurements on live circuits.

Identify whethe the t ansisto is NPN o PNP type and locate emitte , base and collecto lead.

Inse t leads of the t ansisto to be tested into p ope holes of the testing socket on the f ont

Remove the fuse f om the fuse holde and eplace it with a new fuse of the same type and
