Instructions for use Multiplex Trio F
Multiplex Trio F is a combined inlet, drain and overow unit for bathtubs with a
52-mm drain hole. It meets the requirements of DIN EN 274.
It is exclusively designed for household wastewater. Introducing other liquids such as
cleaning agents that could damage sanitary equipment, drain components and pipe
materials, especially those with a pH value of less than 4, is not permitted. Installation
must only be performed by specialist companies in compliance with local building code.
Caution: Safeguard drinking water from contamination.
To prevent contamination of drinking water caused by bath water owing back into
the drinking water system, a pipe interruptor must be installed between the concealed
shut-o tting and the bathtub drain. Local standards and regulations must be
observed.
This instruction manual should be given to the building owner after assembly.

aInstall the prole seal and
overow unit.
Screw the fastening ange
with O-ring into the overow
unit.
bTighten the fastening ange. cMount the seal onto the drain
casing.
dInstallation example using
steel bathtub (screw-in valve
22.5 mm).
eInstallation example using a
plastic bathtub (screw-in valve
30 mm).
fInsert screw-in valve with seal
into the drain casing.
gTighten screw-in valve with
assembly aid supplied.
hBowden wire length 540 and
725 mm. Mount overow pipe
and, if necessary, shorten.
iBowden wire length 1070
mm. Mount overow and
extension pipes and, if
necessary, shorten.
jMount overow pipe and
ensure sucient insertion
depth.
kInsert inlet element.lTurn the external ring of the
inlet element onto the screw
heads of the screw-in valve.
mTighten fastening polygon
screw slightly.
nPlace the cover plate onto the
thread.
oScrew the cover plate into the
thread manually.
pMount cover rosette onto the
overow unit.
qLoosen the connecting bend
from the drain and connect
on the water side.
rInstall the screw connection
piece.
sMount connecting elbow
onto the drain and tighten
union nut by hand.
tTo close the valve cone:
Turn the rotatable collar
anticlockwise.
uTo open the valve cone:
Turn the rotatable collar
clockwise.
uAfter assembly is complete,
perform a leakage test.
EAssembly steps
aUnscrew the cover plate per
hand.
bLift cover. cLoosen internal polygon
screw and remove inlet
element.
dClean the inlet element under
running water.
eLoosen internal polygon
screw on the valve cone.
fClose the valve cone and
hold this position with the
rotatable collar. Remove valve
cone.
gReplace damaged seals. hClean drain casings as
required.
To install, follow the same steps in reverse order!
FCleaning
aThe pipe interruptor prevents water
from owing back into the drinking
water line when the bathtub is
lled.
