The C-250 allows single line tele-
phones or a telephone system to
share a phone line with a single
VIKING entry phone. Tenants
may answer an entry phone call,
converse with the visitor and let
them in with a touch tone command.
The C-250 also has a built in five
number dialer to make an outside
call if there is no answer on the
inside phone. If the outside call is
busy or ring no answer, the C-250
can call up to four more numbers.

The DLE-200B Line Simulator produces two way commu-
nication between standard telecom products such as
modems, fax machines, Key Systems, PABX’s and stan-
dard single line telephones. The Line Simulator can also
provide sales people with a cost effective, easy to use
method of conducting on site demonstrations, eliminat-
ing the need to locate phone lines and disrupt the
customer’s phone service.
The DLE-200B Line Simulator provides precise
dialtone, DC talk battery and standard or distinc-
tive ringing. The unit also provides a CPC break
on hang up.

Good News for the New Year
REBUILD YOUR BRAIN
Up until about 10 years ago, it was believed that we were
born with a fixed number of brain cells that eventually
died out. Now scientists know that brain cells regenerate
throughout our lives. And one thing seems clear: To keep
the sharpest memory you can for as long as you
can, get moving. Aerobically, that is.
Recent studies have
shown that peo-
ple who en-
gage in aero-
bic exercise
perform better
cognitively and
show increased
brain volume. In
an-other study, par-
ticipants who exer-
cised showed lower
rates of dementia.
That’s because exercise
actually encourages neu-
ron generation in the part of
the brain that processes
memories.
Neatly boxed assortment of
5 popular specialty cheeses
including Medium Cheddar,
Hot Pepper Jack, Cajun
Colby, Onion & Garlic Jack
and Country Blend.

New “Buzz” Words for
the New Year!
Locavore: One whose diet consists of primarily of locally-pro-
duced food.
Harsh my mellow: To spoil a good mood or disturb your tran-
quility. “I was enjoying a quiet afternoon on the beach, when
someone’s barking dog harshed my mellow.”
Digital native: A person who has never lived in a world with-
out computers, cell phones, iPods, etc.
Mouse potato: The on-line, wired generation’s answer to the
couch potato.
Swipeout: An ATM card or credit card that has been rendered
useless because magnetic strip is worn away from extensive
use.
Percussive maintenance: The fine art of whacking the crap
out of an electronic device to get to work again.
WOOFS: Well-Off Older Folks
OHNOSECOND: That minuscule fraction of time in which you
realize that you’ve just made a BIG mistake. (Like after hitting
send on an e-mail by mistake)
Ginormous: Combination of gigantic and enormous.
Frugalista: A person who is frugal but fashionable.
Pre-historic text: An old text message. Given the speed with
which thing change today, it could be a text message that you
received only last week.

C-4000 using a PC and
each C-4000’s RS-232
port (even if the original

the number of controllers or replacing a unit. VIKING recently updated
the C-4000 PC programming software version “V2.0.0” to add this capa-
bility and the new version is available on our website as a free download
(www.vikingelectronics.com). Complete directions describing how to
