Setting the Clock
Th tim -of-day must b s t b for any oth r program

To Program the Time of Day:
1. Pr ss th “CLOCK” button. A singl ton will sound
and th colon will flash indicating th clock function
has b n acc ss d.
2. “UP” and “DOWN” ar us d to s t th tim of day.
“UP” incr as s tim ; “DOWN” d cr as s tim .
“UP/DOWN” will incr as or d cr as th tim in
1 minut incr m nts. Wh n th button is h ld down,
tim will incr as or d cr as in 5 minut incr m nts
until th n xt hour is r ach d, th n will continu to
incr as or d cr as in hour incr m nts.
3. R l as th button wh n th appropriat tim has

Setting the Min/Hour Timer
Th MIN/HOUR TIMER is d sign d for accurat timing
of foods. It is id al for baking d licat it ms such as
biscuits, cooki s, and popov rs, and for pr cis broiling.
To Program the Min/Hour Timer:
1. Pr ss th “TIMER” button. Th tim r will display :00.
2. Pr ss th “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to incr as or
d cr as tim . Th tim will chang in 1 minut
incr m nts. Wh n th button is h ld down, tim will
chang in 5 minut incr m nts until th n xt hour is
r ach d.
Setting COOK TIME Program
COOK TIME automatically nds a cooking function. This
fatur do s not automatically start a cooking function.
This program is us d for controll d timing of bak d or
roast d foods.

th “UP” or “DOWN” buttons.
2. Th t mp ratur will d fault to 350°F wh n ith r
“UP” or “DOWN” button is pr ss d. Tapping th
“UP” or “DOWN” buttons will incr as or d cr as
th t mp ratur in 5-d gr incr m nts. Th
t mp ratur will incr as or d cr as in 25°
incr m nts wh n th “UP” or “DOWN” buttons ar

from a low of 170°F to a high of 550°F. Wh n th

Electronic Timing/Temperature Center
The electronic timing/temperature center is used to program
and control all timing and temperature functions. Each oven
has a separate temperature control and a separate oven
function selector. The button control can be set at any
temperature from 170°F (76.6°C) to 550°F (287.8°C) by
pressing “UP” or “DOWN”. There are separate settings for
broiling and HI/LO BROIL. ALWAYS be sure the controls are
in the “OFF” position when the oven is not in use.
IMPORTANT–The time-of-day must be set before any other
program can be used.

circulat d by a motoriz d fan in th r ar of th ov n.

food by vaporation. R moval of wat r inhibits growth
of microorganisms and r tards th activity of nzym s.
It is important to r m mb r that d hydration do s not
improv th quality, so only fr sh, top-quality foods
should b us d.

automati time baking:
•DO NOT use foods that will spoil while waiting for

ream soups, ustards, fish, pork, poultry, or

• Any food that has to wait for ooking to start
should be very old or frozen before it is pla ed in
the oven.

•DO NOT allow food to remain in the oven for

defrosted food to remain in the oven for more

Avoid any damage to oven vents. The vents need
to be unobstru ted and open to provide proper
airflow for optimal oven performan e.

The Cooling Fan should be operating when the
unit is in operation. If you noti e the ooling fan is
not operating or you observe unusual or ex essive
noise oming from the ooling fan, onta t a Viking
Authorized Servi e Center before ontinuing
operation. Failure to do so an result in damage to
the oven or surrounding abinets.

To prevent possible damage to abinets and
abinet finishes, use only materials and finishes
that will not dis olor or delaminate and will
withstand temperatures up to 194° F (90° C). Heat
and moisture resistant adhesive must be used if the
produ t is to be installed in laminated abinetry.
