1 General information
1.1 Description
Wall-mounted hands-free video entryphone for seamless integration into new and existing SIP solutions, integrated
Wi-Fi and Ethernet, with touch-screen colour LCD display, capacitive keyboard for
video door entry functions and intercom calls.
1.2 Warnings
1.2.1 Maintenance
• Clean using a soft cloth.
• Do not pour water onto the appliance and do not use any type of chemical product.
• Cleaning must be done with the apparatus powered o󰀨 (disconnected from the bus) or after activating the
cleaning procedure.
1.2.2 Warnings for the user
• Do not open or tamper with the appliance.
• In the event of faults, contact specialized personnel.
• For installation, refer to the instruction sheet in the package.
1.3 Characteristics
1.3.1 Calls
• Receipt of audio or audio/video calls from an outdoor station.
• Specic self-start from an outdoor station.
• Call to/from switchboard.
• Audio-only intercom calls to/from another indoor station.
• Video or audio/video streaming from the system cameras.
1.3.2 Connectivity
• Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Ethernet connectivity.
• Dynamic and static IP address conguration for both interfaces.
• SIP 2.0 signaling protocol.

1.4 Touch buttons and signal functions
Indicators (white back-light)
When any touch button is pressed, a white back-light illuminates all buttons for an improved visibility.
Touch buttons (default functions)
• The Handsfree button answers an incoming call, terminates a call or terminates a camera streaming. This
button cannot be congured.
• The Do-not-Disturb (DnD) button, when enabled, refuses any incoming call. If this button is pressed for 20
seconds, a Factory reset is executed. This button cannot be congured.
• The Calling management button, if congured, establishes a call to the selected indoor monitor. If it’s not
congured and there is only one indoor monitor, the call is started automatically to that indoor monitor. If it’s also
not congured, but there are several indoor monitors, only the Calls screen is displayed.
• The Monitoring button, if congured, establishes a call to an external panel or receives a streaming from a
camera. If it’s not congured, it does not execute any action.
• The Unlocking button activates an actuator during a call. If it’s not congured, it behaves as when pressing the
Open door button during a call. The button is disabled when no call is taking place.

2 Device start-up
The rst time that the device is powered on requires to follow this start-up procedure that comprehends only three
simple steps that are described in this section.
However, in order to start placing or receiving calls, the Network and the VoIP settings also need to be congured.
This three-step guided procedure takes place the rst time that the device is powered up before any other
conguration. It’s used to set the basic device settings that will allow to correctly use and congure the device.
This procedure can also take place directly from from the Web UI.
First step
• Select the device language
• Choose the plant name
• Choose the device name
Second step
• Set a new password. It must contain at least 4 characters.
These credentials will be used to access the protected settings screens and the Web UI.

• Conrm the data entered in the previous steps
A dialog will ask again to conrm the previous parameters:
Once this procedure is completed it will not appear anymore, except after a Factory Reset since the user
conguration is completely removed.
After these steps, in order to start placing or receiving calls, the Network and the VoIP settings need to be congured.

2.1 From the Web UI
Before connecting to the device using a browser, a Device Discovery needs to be executed in order to know the
device IP address. Once it’s known, enter it in the browser’s URL bar and follow this web-based steps that are
equivalent to the above procedure:
First step
• Select the device language
• Choose the plant name
• Choose the device name
Second step
• Set a new password. It shall contain at least 4 characters.
These credentials will be use to access this Web UI and the protected settings screens.

3 Main screen
The Main screen is the entry point for any interaction with the device. This screen is the rst one to be displayed after
the device is powered up and when it exits the Stand-by mode.
It’s organized in three main areas:
1. Info and quick controls
At the top of the screen from left to right after the logo the following useful elements are found:
a. Date in vertical format
b. Time in horizontal format
c. Mute icon: When activated, the outgoing audio is disabled during a call
d. Do-not-Disturb (DnD) icon: When activated, all the incoming calls are refused sending a busy reply to the
calling party.
2. Calls status
At the middle left of the screen a couple o󰀨 relevant status elements are found:
a. SIP status: Indicates if the device is registered in the SIP server.
If it’s registered it shows a green bullet that indicates that the device is connected to the SIP server.
If it’s not registered it shows a red bullet indicates that the device is not connected to the SIP server.
b. Missed calls: It shows the number of missed calls, if any.
3. Main actions
At the bottom of the screen the icons that represent the main actions are found:

Icon Action
Open the Calls screen from where calls can take place.
Open the Calls history screen where all the calls are listed.
Open the Monitoring screen to execute a self-start to a SIP external panel
Open the Camera screen to start a streaming from an IP cam.
Opens the Contacts list screen where all the contacts are listed.
Open the Settings screen where the device can be congured.

4 Call functions
4.1 Answering calls
When the device receives a call, the incoming call screen shows the video preview of the remote caller to the left and
a set of controls to the right and bottom of the screen:
The controls at the right are the following:
• Accept call: Accept the call.
• Decline call: Do not accept the call and return to the previous screen.
• Open door: Open the door that is associated to the calling external panel, if any. It is disabled until the call is
established.
• Snapshot: Take a snapshot of the current call.
• Keyboard: Show a keyboard used for entering a DTMF code. It is disabled until the call is established.
• More: Show the list of the available actuators. It is disabled until the call is established.
The Open door, Keyboard, More, Volume and Mute icons are disabled until the call is answered.
The controls at the bottom are the following:
• Back: Return to the previous screen declining the call.
• Volume: Adjust the volume. It is disabled until the call is established.
• Mute: Enable/Disable the audio. It is disabled until the call is established.
A call is answered by pressing the Accept call icon:

After accepting the call, this icon and the Decline icon are removed, the End call icon appears, and the controls that
were previously disabled, Open door, Keyboard, More, Volume and Mute, become enabled.
Notice that depending on the calling peer characteristics, some controls may be disabled.
4.1.1 Declining calls
When an incoming call is waiting to be answered, the Decline call icon or the Back icon can be used to decline the
call without answering it:
The declined call will be displayed in the Main screen’s Calls status area.

4.1.2 Ending calls
After the call has been accepted, the Accept call and Decline call icons are hidden and the End call icon becomes
available and when this icon or the Back icon are pressed, the call is nished:
4.1.3 Adjusting audio settings
If the calling peer supports audio, during a call the volume can be adjusted with the Volume bar and the Mute icon
can be used to disable the audio keeping the current volume level.
If the caller is an audio-only entrance panel or indoor monitor, the video area in the display will be black.
On the other hand, if the caller is a video-only entrance panel or indoor monitor, the audio controls will be disabled.

4.1.4 Opening the door
During a call, if the Open door icon is pressed, the actuator associated to that icon, normally a door lock, is activated:
Notice that the DTMF code for the actuator has to be congured when creating the contact.
4.1.5 Taking a snapshot
During a call, if the Snapshot icon is pressed, a Snapshot of what it’s currently in the video area is taken and can be
later visualized in the Calls history screen:

4.1.6 Activating an actuator
During a call, an actuator can be activated in two di󰀨erent modes:
• The Keyboard icon:
By pressing this icon, a dialog with a numeric keypad appears where the DTMF code of the desired actuator can be
entered:
• The More icon:

By pressing this icon, a dialog with the list of actuators associated to the current calling peer appears and the desired
actuator can be selected:
Notice that in order for an actuator to appear in the list of actuators, it must had been registered as a contact of type
Actuator in the Contacts list.

4.2 Placing calls
The Calls icon in the Main screen allows to place calls:
The Calls screen that is opened allows to dial the desired number by using the dial pad in the right:
or by selecting directly the desired contact in the left:

After the number is entered or the contact is selected, the Place call icon is selected to actually place the call:
The screen that appears when placing the call is exactly the same as when an incoming call takes place and all the
controls behave similarly:
