6.0 Error messages
Error message # 1: The charging process will not start.
1) Check the RCD and circuit breaker
a. The RCD might have been triggered due to security reasons
2) Check if the car signals an error message. (e.g. charging not possible)
a. In some rare cases, electric vehicles may interrupt the charging process due to
discrepancies by the power supply. Contact an electrician to investigate your
fuse box and power supply.
3) Check the charging cable
a. Is the charging cable connected and pushed in properly?
i. In some cases, the locking mechanism will be blocked if the cables is
not properly connected and thus does not start the charging
Error message # 2: The charging process is interrupted during charging.
1) Check the earth fault protection (RCD) and circuit breaker
a. The RCD might have been triggered due to security reasons
2) Check if the car signals an error message. (e.g. charging not possible)
a. In some rare cases, electric vehicles may interrupt the charging process due to
discrepancies by the power supply. Contact an electrician to investigate your
fuse box and power supply.
Error message # 3: I cannot remove the charging cable from my car.
1) Unlock the charging cable by using the car's remote control or directly in the car
a. In some cases, locking mechanism will be active to prevent unauthorized
disconnection of the charger cable.
Error message # 4: Charging plug is stuck in the charging station.
1) Turn off the charging station by turning off the ground fault switch (RCD) inside the
charging station.
