1. Introduction
Description
The vCamLS can be used for visual inspection of the small pipes, tanks (non
inflammable/explosive storage tanks), ducts, cabling systems, process plants,
machinery, behind dry walls, in ceilings and any other similar structures.
System Component
The system includes the following:
vCamLS hand-held
Cable including camera
Warranty card
Vivax-Metrotech user handbook
Model and Serial Numbers
For service and support purposes, each vCamLS has its own model and
serial numbers at the back of the hand-held.
Pushbutton
The functions of the vCamLS hand-held pushbutton are shown as below.
1 Power On/Off button
2 Adjust the camera settings (Reducing)
3 Adjust the camera settings (Increasing)
4 Menu
pushbutton is used to select items to be adjusted. Items can be adjusted
are video light, brightness, contrast and saturation.

2. Setup
Installing the Battery
1. Loosen the screw in anti-clockwise direction to open the lid of the battery
compartment.
2. Insert the 4 x AA battery box into the battery compartment.
3. Close the lid and tighten the screw in clockwise direction.
Connecting the cable to the hand-held
1. Ensure that the socket is aligned correctly with the socket before pushing
them into place as shown in graphic below.
2. Screw the nut up tight following the direction of the arrow. (anti-clockwise
direction)
3. Using the vCamLS
The cable can be bended flexibly for a better viewing angle.
To get a better visual effect, press pushbutton to go to the video setting
menu.
Video Light Setting
Press pushbutton to go to video light setting menu, click or to
reduce or increase the video light between 0 and 10.
Brightness Setting
Press pushbutton to go to brightness setting menu, click or to
reduce or increase the brightness between 0 and 100.

Contrast Setting
Press pushbutton to go to contrast setting menu, click or to reduce or
increase the contrast between 0 and 100.
Saturation Setting
Press pushbutton to go to saturation setting menu, click or to reduce or
increase the saturation between 0 and 100.
4. Video Output
Use external viewing or recording device to record the video which is send out by
connecting AV cable to output socket.
