


ABOUT YOUR STYLER
CONGRATULATIONS!
Have you always wanted to create those glamorous retro deeply defined
waves? You’ll love how easy it is usingthis nifty styler. Ideal forwaving medium
to very long hair.

STYLE INSTRUCTIONS
• Start with hair that is clean, brushed through and either completely dry or
still moist.
• Apply a mousse, heat spray or smooth styling product for the best results.
• Comb through to ensure your hair is completely tangle free.
• Divide your hair into 4 sections (2 back and 2 front) .
• At the front make your parting the top of sections.
• Starting at the nape of the back sections, take a horizontal section no wider
than the plate of your styler.
• Take a section of hair and place it between the top barrels and bottom plate
of the styler.
• Clamp the hair between the top barrels and bottom plate by pressing the
appliance together. Take care not to let the appliance touch the scalp.
• Hold in place for up to 5 seconds. Release the appliance from the hair, gently
slide down to the next straight part in the hair section and press the plates
and barrel together. if you are not getting a dened results, try to hold the
styler in place a little longer.
• Continue this action down the entire hair section, towards the ends of the
hair and repeat until all the sections of your hair have been styled.
• To turn the appliance off press the ‘I/0’ button. The red LED indicator light will
turn off. Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.
TIP:
• For professional results, comb a small amount of mousse or styling gel through the
hair before drying and styling.
• For a softer, more natural look, run ngers through the hair to break up the waves.



through hair. Press each section between the plates and release.
Work your way down lining up each wave with the one above. Apply
a heat spray for extra protection & longer lasting results.
NATURAL
// For a more natural look, take random sections of hair, waving some
sections and leaving others straight. After styling, break hair up
with your finger tips for natural, beach waves.
MODERN
// Start by positioning the styler midway down each hair section,
leaving the roots straight. Clamp hair between the top barrels and
bottom plate by pressing the appliance together.
EXPERT TIP
// This styler is also a great tool for creating texture in volume in your
hair, ideal for creating extra hold in up-do’s or adding fullness to
braids & fishtails.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Plug your styler into a power outlet.
• Place your styler on a heat protective, at level surface.
• Press the ‘I/O’ switch to turn your styler on.
• The red indicator light will turn on and start to ash. At this point
your styler will start heating up.
• Use the dial to adjust to the temperature you desire. Once the LED
light stops ashing, the straightener has heated to the selected
temperature.
• To turn your styler off, press the ‘I/O’ button.
The LED light will turn off. Allow styler to cool before storing.
 This is a high heat appliance. Care must be taken to
avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance coming into direct contact with
the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.
Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically
treated should only use the low heat settings on this product. Please
consult your hairdresser on using heated appliances if you have any
concerns about the condition of your hair.

under the Consumer Guarantee Act 1993.

Conair Australia Pty Ltd. will repair or replace (at our option) your appliance
free of charge for twenty-four months from the date of purchase if the
appliance is defective in workmanship or materials. This warranty is an
additional benet and does not affect your legal rights. To obtain service
under this warranty, please read the Warranty Leaet included or contact
Conair Customer Service at aus_info@conair.com.

VARIABLE HEAT SETTINGS
The variable temperature settings provide variable heat. Please make sure you
choose the required temperature setting according to your particular need and
hair type.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS HAIR TYPE
160°C 'I' LOW Fine, bleached or delicate hair
180°C 'II' MEDIUM Normal or coloured hair
200°C 'III' HIGH Hard to style, thick hair
NB: The heat-up time will vary depending on which temperature setting you select.
It is suggested to use the lower heat settings when using the appliance for the firsttime.

Your styler is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance free.
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool and wipe exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal
conditions occur, allow to cool and contact Conair Customer Service.

Ceramic Technology will help keep your hair healthy and shiny looking. It
generates full spectrum, infrared heat which works on hair molecules to dry
them inside & out. It minimises heat damage and makes hair less frizzy and
more manageable.

This appliance has an automatic safety cut off system which will
automatically turn your styler off if left on accidentally for 72 minutes. If
this occurs, please wait for your styler to cool. Switch off and unplug the
power cord.
Plug the power cord back in and switch the appliance on to start using your
styler again.

The following safety precautions should always be followed when using

Please read these instructions carefully and keep for future reference.

•  Do not use this appliance in or near bathtubs, showers,
basins or other vessels containing water. Keep the appliance dry.
• When this appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
• If this appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately- DO NOT reach
into the water.
Before and During Use
• Before using, always ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the
same as your local power voltage.
• If the appliance is designed to be connected to a detachable power supply
(otherwise known as a charger or adaptor), the appliance must only be
used with the power supply it was sold with.
• Do not operate this appliance or disconnect from the power supply with
wet hands.
• Never use this appliance at the same time as styling products such as
aerosols (spray).
• Be very careful when handling this appliance as parts of it may get
extremely hot.
• Do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface or near ammable
materials or objects.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place on a soft surface
such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the
air openings free of lint and other debris.
• Do not cover this appliance with anything when it is switched on or hot.
• To avoid electric shock, do not drop or insert any object into an opening in
this appliance.
for Storage and Maintenance
• Always unplug the appliance immediately after use and before cleaning or
maintenance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged in or switched on.
• Always allow the appliance to cool down before storing away in a location
where children cannot reach it.
• Do not store or place this appliance in a location where it can fall or be
pulled into a bath or sink.
• Do not wrap the supply cord around this appliance when storing as over
time this may cause damage to the cord.
• If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Never operate this appliance if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it is
not working correctly.
• If this appliance is serviced by an unqualied person this could result in
an extremely hazardous situation for the user. Contact Conair Customer
service if you have any issues operating your styler.

• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)
with a rated operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the
