When using your clipper, basic precautions should always be followed: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
DANGER:
To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric shock:
1) The appliance is intended for trimming purposes only.
2) Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
3) Except when charging, always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
4) Unplug the clipper or recharge stand from the cord before cleaning.
5) Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

12) Always attach plug to appliance first, then to outlet. After use, unplug the appliance from the outlet.

Operation
Preparation
Keep the packaging material for safe storage or transport later.
• Check that the contents are complete.
• Check all the parts for possible transport damage.
Safety
Caution! Damage due to incorrect power supply.
• Only operate the hair clipper with the voltage stated on the nameplate.
Charging the Battery
This cordless hair clipper is supplied with two battery packs. While the appliance is in use, the second battery pack can be recharged on the charging
stand. This means that the hair clipper is always ready for use.
Before the hair clipper is used for the first time, each battery pack should be charged for the following times:
• STANDARD BATTERY pack approx. 50 minutes
• XXL BATTERY pack (optionally available) approx. 120 minutes.
1. Connect the appliance plug (R) on the plug-in transformer (S) to the plug socket (H) of the charging stand (Fig. 2).
2. Connect the plug-in transformer to the mains socket (Fig. 2).
3. Insert the battery pack into the recess of the charging stand (Fig. 4). The charging process starts.
• During charging, the charging indicator (D) flashes red.
• It should take around 50 minutes for the STANDARD BATTERY pack to charge to full capacity.
• It should take around 120 minutes for the XXL BATTERY pack (optionally available) to charge to
full capacity.
• The second battery can remain in the charging stand so that a charged battery pack is always
available.
4. Once the charging process has finished, the charging indicator (D) lights up green.
Battery Operation
1. Switch on the hair clipper using the on/off switch and switch off after use (Fig. 5).
• In case of insufficient maintenance of the blade set, the operating time can be reduced considerably.
• While in operation with a fully charged battery, the charging indicator (D) lights up green.
• Whenever the charging indicator (D) lights up red during operation, the battery pack needs to be recharged.
You can now use the charged replacement battery pack.
To Recharge the Battery:
1. Switch off the hair clipper using the on/off switch (Fig. 5 ).
2. Press the release button (C) on the side and remove the battery pack (Fig. 3).
3. Remove the charged battery pack (Fig. 4) from the charging stand and slide it into the hair clipper until it locates with an audible click (Fig. 3).
4. Fit the flat battery pack to the charging stand (Fig. 4). See section Charging the battery.
Operation
Setting the cutting length
The cutting length can be adjusted to between 0.7 mm and 3 mm (5 possible positions) using the cutting-length
adjustment (G) integrated into the blade set (Fig. 6).

Cutting With The Attachment Comb
The hair clipper can also be operated with attachment combs.
• In order to achieve the indicated cutting length, the cutting length adjustment lever (G) should be set to position 1 (Fig. 6).
Depending on the model, the following attachment combs are included as standard:
3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm, 18 mm and 25 mm cutting lengths.
Attaching/Removing The Attachment Comb
1. Slide the attachment comb on to the blade set in the direction of the arrow until it reaches the limit stop (Fig. 7).
2. The attachment comb can be removed by pushing it in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 7).
Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to incorrect handling.
• Switch off the hair clipper before cleaning it or performing any maintenance.
• Disconnect the charging station from the power supply before cleaning it.
Cleaning and Care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.
• Do not immerse the hair clipper in water!
• Do not allow any liquid to get inside the hair clipper.
Caution! Danger from Aggressive Chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the hair clipper and accessories.
• Never use solvents or scouring agents.
• Only use cleaning agents and blade set oil recommended by the manufacturer.
Accessories and spare parts are available from your dealer or our service centre.
• Remove the attachment comb (Fig. 7) and lift the blade set out of the housing (Fig. 8), see replacement
of the blade set .
• Use the cleaning brush (Q) to remove any cut hairs from the housing opening and from the blade set (Fig. 9).
• Press the cleaning lever (l). This allows the cut hairs that accumulate between the bottom blade and the top blade to be easily removed using the
cleaning brush (EASY CLEANING).
• Only wipe the hair clipper with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• The contacts on the charging stand, the hand-held appliance and on the battery pack should always be kept clean.
• Clean the blade set regularly using the hygienic spray (available as an accessory).
• Oil the specified areas of the blade set with one small drop of oil each (Fig. 10).
• Reinstall the blade set and fold the blade set back into position (Fig. 8), see Replacing the blade set.
- For a good and long-lasting cutting performance, it is important to oil the blade set frequently.
- If the cutting performance deteriorates after long use despite regular cleaning and oiling, the blade set should be replaced.
Changing the Blade Set
1. Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 5).
2. Slide the blade set off the housing in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 8). Remove the blade set.
3. Replace the blade set by hooking it into the housing and pressing it down until it clicks into position (Fig. 8).
Problem Elimination
Blade set is cutting badly or pulling hair out.
Cause: Blade set is dirty or worn out.
• Clean and oil the blade set. If this does not resolve the problem, replace the blade set (Fig. 8/9/10).
Skin Injury
Cause: Too much pressure on the skin.
• Reduce pressure when cutting close to skin.
Cause: Damaged blade set.
• Check whether the blade edges were damaged during use and replace the blade set if necessary.
Battery Operating Time is too Short
Cause: Blade set and housing opening are dirty.
• Clean and oil the blade set (Fig. 8/9/10).
Cause: Battery is worn out.
• Replace the battery pack with an original spare part.
Replacement battery packs are available from your dealer or from our service centre as accessories.
Charging Indicator Does Not Light Up
Cause: The battery pack is not correctly positioned on the charging stand.
• Ensure that the battery pack has been correctly placed on the charging stand.
Cause: Charging contacts are dirty.
• Clean the charging contacts on the charging stand and on the battery pack.
Cause: Defective power supply.
• Ensure that the plug-in transformer is plugged into the mains socket and the charging station.
• Check the mains cable for possible damage.
In the event that this information does not help you resolve your problem, please contact our service centre.
Never attempt to repair the hair clipper yourself!

Funcionamiento
Preparación
Conserve el material de embalaje por si desea guardar o transportar el aparato de forma segura más adelante.
• Compruebe que el suministro está completo.
• Compruebe todos los elementos para detectar posibles daños por el transporte.
Seguridad
Atención: Daños por alimentación incorrecta.
• Utilice la máquina de corte de pelo sólo con la tensión especificada en su placa de características.
Carga de la Batería
Con esta máquina de corte de pelo alimentada por batería se suministran dos baterías. Mientras se está utilizando
la máquina de corte de pelo se puede recargar la segunda batería en el cargador. De este modo, tendrá
la máquina de corte de pelo siempre a punto.
Antes de la primera puesta en servicio son necesarios los tiempos de carga siguientes por batería:
• Batería STANDARD BATTERY: 50 minutos aproximadamente.
• Batería XXL BATTERY (opcional): 120 minutos aproximadamente.
1. Conecte el conector (R) de la fuente de alimentación conmutada (S) a la conexión (H) del cargador (fig. 2).
2. Enchufe la fuente de alimentación conmutada a la toma de corriente (fig. 2).
3. Introduzca la batería en la ranura del cargador (fig. 4). Se inicia la carga.
• Durante la carga el indicador de capacidad (D) parpadea en rojo.
• El tiempo de carga para volver a alcanzar la plena capacidad de la batería STANDARD BATTERY es de aproximadamente 50 minutos.
• El tiempo de carga para volver a alcanzar la plena capacidad de la batería XXL BATTERY (opcional) es de aproximadamente 120 minutos.
• La segunda batería puede permanecer en el cargador. De ese modo dispondrá en todo momento de una batería cargada.
4. Una vez finalizada la carga, el indicador de capacidad (D) se ilumina en verde.
Funcionamiento Con Batería
1. Encienda y apague la máquina de corte de pelo después del uso con el interruptor de conexión/desconexión (fig. 5).
• Si el mantenimiento del cabezal de corte es insuficiente, es posible que la autonomía se reduzca notablemente.
• Durante el funcionamiento el indicador de capacidad (D) se ilumina en verde cuando la batería está completamente cargada.
• Si el indicador de capacidad (D) se ilumina en rojo durante el funcionamiento significa que es necesario recargar la batería. Ahora puede
utilizar la batería de recambio completamente cargada.
Para volver a cargar la batería haga lo siguiente:
1. Apague la máquina de corte de pelo con el interruptor de conexión/desconexión (fig. 5).
2. Presione las teclas de desbloqueo laterales (C) y retire la batería (fig. 3).
3. Retire la batería cargada (fig. 4) del cargador e introdúzcala en la máquina de corte de pelo hasta que encaje de forma audible (fig. 3).
4. Introduzca la batería vacía en el cargador (fig. 4). Consulte el apartado Carga de la batería.
