Power supply
3.1. General
The lock is powered by a 9-volt alkaline block battery.
If the red LED flashes after pressing the ON key, the battery is almost empty.
Change the battery as soon as possible.
If the LED flashes red five times after the ON key is pressed and is followed by a
triple beep signal, the code can no longer be entered due to a lack of power. After
entering the first code digit, the LED goes out. Replace the battery immediately.
To change the battery, loosen the M4 bolt and M18 nut on the back of the lock. Lift
the battery cover on the lock housing and replace the battery. Replace the battery
cover and tighten the nut and bolt.
If the battery is so empty that it is no longer possible to enter a code and thus open
the safe, the lock can be powered from the outside. To do this, hold a 9-volt block
battery to the power supply points of the input unit (see Fig. 1) and open the lock
as described under point 3. Please always dispose of used batteries in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Password
4.1. General basic rules
4.1.1. Avoid obvious passwords
•No trivial values like 000000, 0815, 123456
•Do not use your own birthday, car license plate, phone number or name (your
own, wife/husband, children, pets, company, place of residence, etc.) as
password. Do not use standard passwords like: "password" or "safe".
•Writing backwards is also too easy
•Do not use a password that you already use
•Important passwords should not have a logical structure
4.1.2. Tips
•The first rule: A password is only secure if it remains secret!
•Remember passwords - don't write them down anywhere!
•Consider all keys if possible (wear marks on the keyboard betray the individual
numbers over time)
4.1.3. Last but not least
Consider how the password will still be retained if the owner can no longer
disclose the password (e.g., in the event of death). Leave a sealed envelope with
your notary.
