WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL [N] BROWN LIVE [L]
GREEN/YELLOW [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it o of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric
shock.

• Ensure that the heater is not
positioned or mounted close to
curtains, canopies, furniture or
any combustible materials as
this will create a re hazard.
• The heater must not be located
immediately below a mains
socket outlet.
• DO NOT cover the heater as this
may lead to a re risk.
• DO NOT obstruct any of the
openings of the heater.
• DO NOT insert any object
through any openings on the
heater.
• Check all inlets and outlets from
time to time for accumulated
dust.
• DO NOT use the heater in
areas where ammable liquids
are stored or where ammable
fumes may be present.
• DO NOT operate the heater on
a timer, or leave on overnight.
• When not being used, please
unplug the heater from the
mains socket.
• Keep the mains lead away from
the hot body of the heater and
ensure that it is not pulled tight
between the socket and the
heater.
• DO NOT touch the hot surfaces
of the heater while it is turned
on to avoid risk of burns and /or
other injury.
• NEVER touch the heater with
wet hands whilst it is plugged
into the mains and turned on to
avoid damage and/or injury.
• DO NOT use the heater in the
immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower, a swimming
pool or similar indoor locations.
• Always unplug the heater and
allow it to cool before moving it
from one location to another.
• DO NOT attempt to dismantle or
repair any part of the heater.
• This movable appliance is
designed for use in gardens,
but can be used both indoors
and outdoors. The warranty will
not apply to appliances used for
professional usage. Although
the heater may be used
outdoors, the main plug must
only be connected to the supply
indoors.
• The heater is provided with an
anti-tilt switch and will switch
o the heater if it is overturned,
and will switch it on again
automatically when the heater is
restored to its upright position.

• DO NOT rotate the appliance’s
heating element assembly while
it is turned on. Turn o the
appliance and allow it to cool
completely (for at least for 15
minutes after the appliance has
been turned o) before rotating
the heating assembly.
• WARNING! Although the heating
element of the patio heater has
stopped glowing it might still
be on and may still be VERY
HOT, and potentially dangerous.
Ensure the appliance has cooled
o completely, is turned o
and unplugged from the mains
before handling or touching the
appliance.
• Switch o the appliance:
After use. In the event of a
malfunction before cleaning it.
• DO NOT operate the appliance if
it has fallen over.
• DO NOT dismantle the
appliance since it contain non-
user serviceable parts. Return it
to the manufacturer for repair.
• The warranty will be void in the
event of damage arising from
improper use.
• WARNING! This heater is not
equipped with a device to
control the room temperature.
DO NOT use this heater in small
rooms when they are occupied
by persons not capable of
leaving the room on their own,
unless constant supervision is
provided.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately and
seek advice from the Customer
Support Team.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Check that there is no damage to the cord or any visible damage to the body.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

ASSEMBLY:
1. Insert the lower post assembly (8) into the
base assembly (10) and then x it tightly
by means of 4 x M6X30 screws, and
insert the clamp (7) into the lower post (8).
2. Join the Lower Post Assembly (8) and the
Middle Post (6) together with 3 x M5X6
screws.
3. Join the Upper Post Assembly (5) and the
Middle Post (6) together with 3 x M5X6
screws.

4. Join the Heating Element Assembly (1)
and the Upper Post Assembly (5) together,
then x them tightly by rotating the knob,
and put the power cord supply into the
clamp.
5. Adjust the Heating Element by loosening
the Heating Element Tightening Knob
(3). Once the angle is correct, tighten
the Heating Element Tightening Knob.
The angle can be adjusted from 0 to 45
degrees.

WALL MOUNTING YOUR HEATER
Your patio heater can be wall mounted for more
permanent placing.
1. To mount, remove the three screws from
the base of the mounting plate at the rear
of the heater.
2. Use the pre-cut holes as guides for
masonry screws and ax securely to the
wall using 2cm screws and 1.5cm wall
plugs. (not supplied)
3. Make sure that the heater is well above
head height and cannot be obstructed.
Great care should be taken positioning
the unit.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Sit the heater on a at, stable surface,
making sure the heating element is away
from any combustible materials e.g.
curtains, furnishings etc.
2. The pull switch cycles through 4 dierent
positions. Select the appropriate position
below:
Position 0: Stop
Position 1: 650W (normal power)
Position 2: 1350W (intermediate power)
Position 3: 2000W (full power)
Note: The heater is equipped with a safety
tilt switch. This will switch the heater o if it is
tipped over.
3. When you are nished using the heater
switch o all elements.
4. Allow the heater to fully cool and unplug
from the mains supply before carrying or
cleaning.
CLEANING AND CARE
Be sure to switch o the power supply at the
wall socket and disconnect the plug before
commencing cleaning.
• Wait for the heater to cool down fully
before commencing cleaning.
• Clean the grilles of dust.
• Only clean the body of the heater with a
damp cloth.
• Do not allow water into the appliance.
• Never use soap or chemicals which may
damage the housing of the heater.
• Allow sucient drying time before
operating again.
• When the unit is not in use, we
recommend that it is repacked in its
original packaging and stored in a cool,
dry place.
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here
may not be disposed of in domestic rubbish.
You are required to dispose of old electrical
and electronic appliances like this separately.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
