This is the main screen of the
SmarTemp Control fx. If it shows
“Manual” on the screen no timers
are set to run. The heater can be
started by pressing the “Webasto”
button

Menu feature:
Pressing the “Select” button
will get you into the menu
area of the SmarTemp fx. This
is where you can set the
different timer settings and the
run time duration just as an
example.

Mode Selection

Mode:
There are two different modes,
Manual andAuto.
Manual: the heater will only start
when the “Webasto” button is
pressed.
Auto: All set timers will run as
programmed throughout the
week.

Timer Programming:
The SmarTemp fx allows you to have up
to 4 preset programs per day for the 7
days of the week.
Rotate knob until the “timer” feature is
highlighted and then press the select
button the screen shown on this slide will
appear.

Once you are in the timer feature there will be a
selection square that appear. When you rotate
the knob it will scroll through the days of the week
first and then into the timer for each day. While
scrolling through the days you can press the
select button to get down to the timer for that day
that you want. T1 –T4

Setting a timer:
When you pick the day and timer number
that you want press the select button and
the time and duration screen will appear.
The time can be set for any timer during
that day.
The duration can be between 10 –120
minutes in 10 minute increments only.
Repeat these steps for all timers to be
set. T1-T4, Sunday thru Saturday

Timer Programming
Turning a timer off:
Rotate the knob and use the select
button to pick the timer you want to turn
off.
Once you have the time and duration
screen open for the timer, by pressing the
select button, rotate the knob on the
duration until “OFF” is displayed for the
duration. Press the select button and the
check that was in that timer position will
go away.

Timer Skip Function
Skip feature:
To use the skip feature rotate the knob
until you get to the timer selection that
you want to skip. Once on that timer,
press the select button and an “S” will
appear in place of the check mark.
The skip feature will only skip the
selected time once.After that time has
passed the “S” will return to a check
mark.
