Cautions
1. Before measuring, the thermometer shall be stabilized at least 30min under operating
condition.
2. Do not expose the thermometer to the electric shock.
3. Do not modify this device.
4. Do not expose the thermometer to the sunlight or immerse it into the water.
5. Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields, i.e. Keep it away from any radio systems
or mobile phones.
6. This device must always be kept in a clean, dry area.
7. Degree of protection against electric shock is Type BF applied part.
8. The disposal of the battery and device shall comply with the local environment
requirements.
9. : The battery in this product complies with the Requirements stated in
European Directives 2006/66/EEC.
10. This device include small parts, don't inhale or swallow it.
11. Do not apply a strong shock to, drop, step on, or vibrate the main unit.
12. Persistent fever, in particular in children, has to be treated by a doctor, please get in touch
with your doctor!
How to use
1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn on the thermometer, a beep sound is
heard and the LCD displays as Fig A in one second.
When the LCD displays as Fig B, it is ready for use.
2. The probe shall be aimed at the forehead, from a distance of (1-3) cm,
press the ‘SCAN’ button and then release it. When you hear a beep
sound, that indicates the measurement is completed, remove the
thermometer. The display shows the measured temperature.
Note: Display as Fig C shows when the measured temperature is lower
than the measurement range.
Display as Fig D shows when the measured temperature is higher
than the measurement range.
3. Memory search: press the ’MEM‘button, which will then display the last
measured temperature, as Fig F shows, and allows for a view of the last 10
measurements taken.
4. Measuring again: If you want to measure again, repeat the step 1 and step 2.
Note: The time between each reading should be not less than 1min.
5. The LCD will display as Fig G and cannot display temperature when the
ambient temperature is out of the operating ambient.
