SAFETY INFORMATION
Read these safety instructions before using the fan for the first
time and store them in a safe place. They contain important
information on basic safety precautions that must be followed.
1. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Using the
appliance for other purposes may cause a fire or electric shock.
2. Only connect the appliance to a mains socket that matches the
voltage specified on the rating plate of the appliance (120V /
60Hz).
3. This product is intended for household use only and not for
commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
4. To prevent the risk of an electrical shock, do not place the
appliance near a window where it may be exposed to rain.
Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or
spray the appliance with liquids.
5. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and
by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years
of age and supervised by an adult.
6. Close supervision must be provided when the appliance is used
by or near children.

8. WARNING! The metal fan blades have sharp edges. Handle
with care.
9. DANGER! Avoid contact with moving parts. Never insert
fingers, pencils or other objects into the rotating fan blades
or any openings on the appliance, as this may cause an injury,
electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance. Keep hands,
hair, clothing, or jewelry away from the protective guards
during operation to prevent injury.
10. Use the appliance upright on a dry, level and hard surface.
11. DANGER! KEEP OUT OF REACH CHILDREN AND PETS.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter. Ensure that the power cord is not in a position where it
may be pulled by children or pets, or tripped over.
12. CAUTION! To prevent the risk of fire, always keep the air
inlets and outlets of the appliance clear of obstructions. Do
not cover the appliance or use it in close proximity to curtains,
tablecloths, etc.
13. WARNING! Always unplug the appliance from the wall
socket before:
- assembling or disassembling any parts,
- adjusting the vertical tilt,
- moving the appliance from one location to another,
- cleaning and storing.
14. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and
pull it from the wall outlet. Do not pull on the cord.
15. Do not use the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
16. Do not place the appliance or any parts near open flames, or
next to cooking or other heating appliances.
17. This appliance has a 3-PIN UL plug (without
fuse). This is Class I product. To reduce the risk of electric
shock, plug the power cord into a grounded (earthed) electrical
outlet that is easily accessible.

18. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION! Never use the appliance
in the bathroom, near any source of water or heavy moisture
(e.g.near a swimming pool, bathtub, basin, or in a damp
basement, etc.). Do not place any objects filled with liquids,
such as vases, near or on the appliance.
19. Do not use the appliance in high ambient temperatures
(exceeding 40 ⁰C) or humid conditions.

HOW TO USE
MOTOR UNIT AND BASE ASSEMBLY
Required tools: Cross-head (Phillips) screwdriver.
1. Remove the tilt adjustment knob (7), long screw, small screw
and small knob from the bottom of the motor unit (14).
2. Align the 4 screw holes on the bottom of the motor unit (14)
with the 4 screw holes on the neck (2) of the base.
3. Insert the long screw through the bottom screw holes and
tighten with the tilt adjustment knob (7) (Fig. 1, 2).
4. Tighten the small screw in the screw hole above the tilt-
adjustment knob (7) by turning clockwise with the screwdriver.
Then tighten the small knob in the remaining screw hole.
(Fig.3).
FAN HEAD ASSEMBLY
1. Insert the back of the rear guard (12) into the motor shaft (13).
2. Align the 4 screw holes on the rear guard (12) with the 4screw
holes on the motor unit (14) (Fig. 4), ensuring that the carry
handle (5) is at the top. Tighten the 4 screws (provided)
clockwise with the screwdriver (Fig. 5).
3. Loosen the screw on the back of the fan blades (11) and align it
with the flat indentation on the motor shaft (13) (Fig. 6). Insert
the fan blades into the motor shaft until the screw is right on
top of the flat indentation (Fig. 7). Tighten the screw clockwise
with the screwdriver.
4. Carefully rotate the fan blades (12) a few turns with your
hand to make sure that they are levelled and spin smoothly.
Reassemble if necessary.
5. Open the locking clips (6) around the rim of the front
guard(10) and hook the top onto the rear guard (12).
6. Align the screw holes on the bottom of both guards, and use
the screwdriver to tighten the screw clockwise.
7. Close the locking clips (6) to lock the guards.

WARNING!
• The metal fan blades have sharp edges. Handle with care.
• Before using the appliance, always ensure that all parts of the
appliance are properly assembled to avoid a hazard.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Never adjust the tilt of the fan while the appliance is
on.
1. Place the fan on a dry, level and stable surface.
2. To adjust the vertical tilt, hold the fan head (1) with one hand
and, with the other hand, slowly turn the tilt adjustment knob
(7) anti-clockwise to loosen it. Push the fan head (1) up or down
to adjust the tilt to your desired angle (70⁰ tilt), and tighten the
tilt adjustment knob (7).
3. Make sure that the Control knob (9) is in the “O” (O) position,
and plug the appliance into a suitable wall socket.
4. Turn the Control knob (9) to the desired speed setting.
I = Low speed
II = Medium speed
III = High speed
5. To start the automatic left-right oscillation, press the oscillation
knob (8). To stop the automatic left-right oscillation, pull the
oscillation knob.
6. Once you have finished using the fan, turn the Control knob
(9) to the “O” (O) position, and unplug the fan from the wall
socket.
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket
after use to disconnect it completely from the power supply.

WARNING! To avoid electrical hazards, never immerse the
appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquids. Never
rinse them under the tap. Keep all electrical parts dry.
NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents,
wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the
appliance.
• Make sure that water does not get into the motor while
cleaning.
• General cleaning – To remove dirt and dust, wipe down the
exterior of the appliance with a soft cloth/sponge moistened
with water or mild soapy water. Dry the appliance completely
after cleaning.
• Thorough cleaning – To clean dust accumulated in the fan
blades and guards, follow these steps:
- Disassemble the fan head (1) by following the steps in the
“HEAD ASSEMBLY” section in the reverse order.
- Wipe the motor unit (14) with a soft cloth moistened with
water or mild soapy water. Dry well.
- Clean the front guard (10), rear guard (12) and fan blades (11)
in mild soapy water with a soft cloth/sponge. Rinse well and
dry with a soft cloth. Allow all parts to dry completely before
reassembling them onto the motor unit.

14. Pour débrancher le ventilateur du secteur, saisissez la fiche
et retirez-la de la prise murale. Ne tirez pas sur le câble
d’alimentation.
15. N’utilisez pas l'appareil en présence de vapeurs explosives et /
ou inflammables.
16. Ne placez pas l’appareil ni aucune partie du ventilateur près de
flammes nues ou à proximité d’appareils de cuisson ou autres
appareils de chauage.
17. Cet appareil dispose d’une fiche UL à
3broches (sans fusible). Il s’agit d’un produit de classe I.
Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, branchez le cordon
d’alimentation dans une prise électrique reliée à la terre
(masse) et facilement accessible.

ASSEMBLAGE DU BLOC MOTEUR ET DE LA BASE
Outils requis: Tournevis cruciforme
1. Retirez le bouton de réglage de l'inclinaison (7), la longue vis, la
petite vis et la petite molette du bas du bloc moteur (14).
2. Alignez les 4 trous de vis au bas du bloc moteur (14) avec les
4trous de vis sur le col (2) de la base.
3. Insérez la longue vis dans les trous de vis inférieurs et serrez
avec le bouton de réglage de l'inclinaison (7) (schémas 1, 2).
4. Serrez la petite vis dans le trou de vis au-dessus du bouton
de réglage de l'inclinaison (7) en la tournant dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre avec le tournevis. Puis, serrez le petit
bouton dans le trou de vis restant. (Schéma 3).
ASSEMBLAGE DE LA TÊTE DU VENTILATEUR
1. Insérez l'arrière de la grille arrière (12) dans l'arbre du moteur
(13).
2. Alignez les 4 trous de vis sur la grille arrière (12) avec les 4
trous de vis du bloc moteur (14) (schéma 4), en vous assurant
que la poignée de transport (5) est en haut. Serrez les 4 vis
(fournies) dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre avec le
tournevis (schéma 5).
3. Desserrez la vis à l'arrière des pales du ventilateur (11) et
alignez-la avec le renfoncement plat sur l'arbre du moteur
(13) (schéma 6). Insérez les pales du ventilateur dans l'arbre
du moteur jusqu'à ce que la vis soit juste au-dessus du
renfoncement plat (schéma 7). Serrez la vis dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre avec le tournevis.
4. Faites tourner soigneusement les pales du ventilateur (12) sur
quelques tours avec votre main pour vous assurer qu'elles sont
nivelées et qu'elles tournent en douceur. Ré-assemblez-les si
nécessaire.
5. Ouvrez les clips de verrouillage (6) autour du rebord de la grille
avant (10) et accrochez le clip supérieur sur la grille arrière (12).
6. Alignez les trous de vis sur le bas des deux grilles et utilisez
le tournevis pour serrer la vis dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre.
7. Fermez les clips de verrouillage (6) pour verrouiller les grilles.
