IMPORTANT
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and non-
abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manuals.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED
OFF WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert the Dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet, IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the threaded inserts on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into the pre-drilled hole on the end of panel for Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre-drilled large hole on the panel. Make sure the arrow on the face of Cam
Lock faces out and points towards Cam Bolt.
3. Take a Phillips screwdriver and rotate the Cam Lock clockwise to lock the Cam Bolt in place.
4. Plug the Cam Lock Cover into the cross slot of the Cam Lock to conceal the Cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts listed. Assemble the unit on
a carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Locate the Top Panel (A), Center Shelf (B) and Bottom Panel (C) with the holes facing up. Securely screw
the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes, as shown above. Fully tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.

3. Secure screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Left and Right Front Panels (G and I)
and Lower Side Panels (F and H), as shown in the illustration.

4. Insert two M8 x 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of the Left Lower Side Panel (F). Tap in with
a rubber mallet, if necessary. Make sure that you use a small amount of glue with both ends of all dowels.
5. Align the drilled holes on the Left Lower Front Panel (G) with the inserted Wood Dowels (3) on the Left
Side Front Panel (F), and then press them together. Secure the Front Panel (G) into place by engaging two
Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).
6. Repeat the last two steps to combine the Right Lower Side and Front Panels (H and I) together.

7. Align and attach the Center Front Molding (J) to the Center Shelf (B) by using two M8 x 30 mm Wood
Dowels (3) and two Cam Locks (1). Make sure that the Cam Locks face inward. As shown above.

8. Align and attach the Back Bottom Stretcher (E) to the Bottom Panel (C) by using two M8 x 30 mm Wood
Dowels (3) and three Cam Locks (1). Make sure that the Cam Locks face inward.
9. Proceed to fasten the Front Bottom Molding (D) to the Bottom Panel (C) with two M8 x 30 mm Wood
Dowels (3) and three Cam Locks (1). As shown.

10. Glue six M8 x 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the drilled holes of the assembled base at both ends. DO NOT
insert the wood dowels into the cam bolt holes.
11. Align the large holes on the Left Side Panel (F) with the inserted Wood Dowels (3) on the assembled base
and press them together. Secure the assembled Left Side Panel (F) in place with three Cam Locks (1).
12. Repeat the same procedure to attach the assembled Right Side Panel (H) at the opposite end. As shown.

13. Insert four 1-1/2” Wood Screws (5) through the drilled holes on the Bottom Panel (C) and securely screw
into the Front Panels (G and I) by a Phillips screwdriver, as shown above.

14. With the pilot holes as a guide, align and attach two Angle Metal Brackets (12) to the front corners of the
assembled base, using four 5/8” Flat Head Screws (7) per bracket. As shown above.

15. Screw two Floor Levelers (13) into the threaded sockets on the Angle Metal Brackets (12).

16. Stand the previous assembly upright.
17. Insert six M8 x 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on the top of the assembled unit.
18. Ask for assistance to position the assembled Center Shelf (B) onto the inserted Wood Dowels (3). Attach
the Center Shelf (B) into place by engaging eight Cam Bolts (1). As shown.

19. With the pilot holes as a guide, fasten the Center Front Molding (J) to the Front Panels (G and I) by
attaching two Metal Brackets (11) at the joints, using two 5/8” Flat Head Screws (7) per bracket. As shown.

21. Securely screw two Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on one Upper Front Panel (R), as shown.
22. Align and attach one Upper Side Panel (K) to the Upper Front Panel (R) by using one M8 x 30 mm Wood
Dowel (3) and two Cam Locks (1).
23. Repeat the same procedure to combine the other Upper Side Panel (K) and Front Panel (R) together.
