How to adjust the European adjustable hinges on doors
Shipping may cause doors to go out of alignment. If you find that the doors need to be adjusted slightly,
turn the appropriate screw, as illustrated.
1. TO ADJUST DOOR FORWARD OR BACKWARD.
2. TO ADJUST DOOR TO RIGHT OR TO LEFT.
3. TO ADJUST DOOR UP OR DOWN.

Important
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and non-
abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED OFF
WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert Dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw Cam Bolt into the pre-drilled small holes on panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into pre-drilled hole on the end of panel with Cam Lock.
2. Insert Cam Lock into pre-drilled large hole on panel. Make sure arrow on Cam Lock is pointed toward
Cam Bolt.
3. Once Cam Bolt is connected inside Cam Lock, take a Phillips screwdriver and tighten Cam Lock clockwise.
4. Plug Cam Cap into the cross slot of the Cam Locks to conceal the cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assembly the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Top Panel (A), Bottom Panel
(B), Partition Panels (E and F), Partition Panel Moldings (G) and Front Crossbar (I) by a Phillips
screwdriver, as shown in the illustration.

Assembly Instructions
3. Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on the end of Left Partition Panel (E). Tap in with a
rubber mallet, if necessary. Make sure that you use a small amount of glue with both ends of all dowels.
4. Align the drilled holes on one Partition Panel Molding (E) with the inserted Wood Dowel (3) on the
Left Partition Panel (E), and then press them together as shown. Attach the Partition Panel Molding (G)
in place by engaging three Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).
5. Repeat the same procedure to combine the Right Partition Panel (F) and the other Partition Panel
Molding (G), the Fixed Shelf (H) and the Middle Crossbar (I) together.

6. Align and attach the Base Rear Stretcher (L) to the Bottom Panel (B) with four wood dowels (3) and
five cam locks (1). As shown.

7. Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of Fixed Shelf (H) at both ends.
8. Align and attach the assembled Fixed Shelf (H) between the Left and Right Partition Panels (E and F)
(3) keep the Middle Crossbar (I) facing the bottom edge, using four Cam Locks (1) as shown.
NOTE: There are cam bolt holes on the bottom edge of partition panels.

Assembly Instructions
9. Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into the bottom inner holes of assembled Partition Panels (E and F) and
attach them to the Bottom Panel (B) with four 38 mm Screws (5) as shown. Tighten the screws with a
Phillips screwdriver.

10. Using the pilot holes as a guide, attach one Magnetic Catch (10) to each Partition Panel (E and F) with
two 15 mm Screws (6) as shown. Make sure that the magnet faces the Partition Panel Molding (G).

Assembly Instructions
12. Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into the center holes of one Side Skirting (K) and fasten it to the Left Side
Panel (C) with two 38 mm Wood Screws (5). As shown.
13. Repeat last step to attach the other Side Skirting (K) to Right Side Panel (D).

Assembly Instructions
14. Insert six Wood Dowels (3) into the large end holes on the Bottom Panel (B) and Back Bottom
Stretcher (L).
15. Align the large holes on the Left Side Panel (C) with the inserted Wood Dowels (3), then firmly press
them together and fasten in place by engaging three Cam Locks (1).
16. Repeat last step to attach Right Side Panel (D) at the opposite end.

Assembly Instructions
19. Align and attach the Front Skirting (J) to the Base Front Stretcher (M) by using four wood dowels (3)
and eight 38 mm Wood Screws (5) as shown. Make sure the floor levelers on the Front Skirting (J) will
face to the floor when the unit is turned upright.

Assembly Instructions
20. Insert eight Wood Dowels (3) into the top inner holes on the vertical panels (C, D, E and F). Position
the Top Panel (A) onto the inserted Wood Dowels (3) and fasten it in place with eight Cam Locks (1).

Assembly Instructions
21. Stand the assembled unit upright.
22. Fasten the Middle Crossbar (I) to the Partition Panel Moldings (G) by attaching two Metal Brackets (9)
at the joints, using two 12 mm Screws (4) per Bracket.

Assembly Instructions
23. Now, go back and securely tighten all the Cam Locks and Wood Screws. Make sure all the parts are
tight and there are no gaps between the parts. This will help keep the unit square.
24. Pick up the Center Back Panel (Q) and align the pre-drilled holes against the upper long edge with the
pilot holes on the back stretcher of Top Panel (A). Attach the Center Back Panel (Q) in place using the
provided Washer Head Screws (7).
25. Align and attach two Side Back Panels (P) to the Top Panel (A) and the vertical panels (C, D, E and F)
with the provided Washer Head Screws (7).
