Step 1
Lay seat (A) on its side and attach a front leg (B) and a back leg (C)
as shown with (4) 1/4” x 2 1/2” bolts and (4) 1/4” ange nuts (2 per
leg). Note: Be sure to position front leg with the arm block on top
pointing away from seat. Repeat on other side.
Step 2
Now position a backrest (D) on the back legs as shown, and fasten
with (6) 2” screws (3 per side).
Required Tools:
- Mallet/Non Marring
Hammer
(Do not use Metal Headed
Hammer)
- Cordless Drill
- #2 Square Drive Bit
- 7/16“ Wrench or
Socket
Hardware:
- (16) 1/4” x 2 1/2” Bolts
- (20) 1/4” Flange Nuts
- (20) 2” Screws
- (12) 1 1/4” Screws
- (4) 1/4”x2” Bolts
Arm Block Faces Away From Seat
Note: The instructions in Steps 1 thru 4 are for putting one deck chair together.
Instructions will need to be repeated for the second deck chair.

Step 3
Fasten the right armrest (E) to chair with (1) 1/4" x 2” bolt and 1/4"
ange nut in the back of the armrest and (3) 1 1/4” screws in the
front of the armrest from the bottom up through arm blocks and
the holes provided, dividing the space evenly on each side.
Note: For the second deck chair use this same step but attach
the left armrest (F) on the opposite side.
Step 4
Flip chair upside down.
For added strength add
(4) 2” screws on inside
of front legs, (2) screws
per leg.
Now repeat Steps 1-4 for
the 2nd chair.
Step 5
Set both chairs on a flat/even surface and slightly
angle the fronts of the chairs towards each other.
Position the tete-a-tete connecting table (G)
in between both chairs, and on top of the two front
inside legs on each chair, as shown on left.
Fasten the back of the table to the backrest
supports with (2) 1/4" x 2" bolt and (2) 1/4" flange,
one per side. Adjust the front as needed and fasten
the table to the front legs from the bottom up into
table with (6) 1 1/4" screws, three per side.
Your tete-a-tete is now complete.
