BATTERY ASSEMBLY ON CENTO1 HYBRID
ATTENTION: each battery, engine and bike frame are aligned to each other, so you can’t switch
these to another bike.e system will not work.e following procedure is suitable for size S and
M. For greater sizes, the assembly of the battery must be done with the fork removed.
1. Open the cover placed at the end of the down tube
below the bottom bracket. Remove the screws from
the down tube if any.
2. Protect the battery connectors with masking tape,
so that you don’t damage them during the assembly
operations.
3. Connect the connector that will be connected with
the iWOC button (ON/OFF switch), with a metallic
wire guide,so that you can pull it out from the hole on
the top tube.

4. Prearrange the battery with the right orientation: the ter-
minal with two cables upward (one that connects with the
iWOC button and the other ready for future applications)
and the terminal with three cables downwards (one that
connects to the X35 power unit, another to the charging
point and the other to the PAS sensor).
5. Place the battery along the down tube sliding it inside
the tube. Make attention to place properly the battery, with
the at surface adherent with the down tube.
6. Tight the battery to the frame suing the screws previously disassembled (they could be stored inside the bike box). e
screws must be inserted in the designated 3 points, being careful that the other internal cables pass over the battery.
7. Connect the battery cables to the cables of the other devices (remove then the masking tape that protects the connectors).

8. Connect properly the connector of the iWoc button to the one with 9 pins of the battery.
9. Install the iWOC button on the top tube, xing it with
the proper screw with a maximum torque of 2Nm.
10. Connect the battery cable to the corresponding one of the charging point.
11. Fix the charging point with the tightening screws, pla-
cing the plastic cover properly.
12. Connect the engine cable with the battery’s one; for the correct insertion follow the arrows that are placed in the inser-
tion point. Fix the cable to the chain stays with the clips.

13. Connect the battery cable to the PAS sensor’s one, with the clip closure. Make attention to match properly the two
cables, otherwise you risk damaging the internal pins inside the connectors.
14. Close the cover placed at the end of the down tube below the bottom bracket with the proper screw.
