Safety Instructions
The power plug has to be compatible with the power socket. Do under no circum-
stances alter the power supply unit and do not use adapter plugs when utilising
earthed power tools. The combination of a power plug in original condition and a matching
power socket minimise the risk of electric shock.
Do not expose the device to rain or splash water and do not use it in environments with
a high level of moisture. Water entering the device significantly increases the risk of electric
shock.
Treat the power cord with care. Neither pull at it in order to disconnect the device from
the mains supply, nor abuse it to lift, hold or carry the device. Further ensure to keep
the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled power
cords increase the risk of electric shock.
If the device is supposed to be operated outside, make sure to use an extension cord
suitable for outdoor areas. Using appropriate extension cords minimises the risk of electric
shock.
If operation within environments with high levels of humidity cannot be avoided, ensure
to use a protected mains supply equipped with a residual-current circuit breaker. Using
residual-current circuit breakers minimises the risk of electric shock.
Always store electric devices out of reach of children. Do not allow individuals, who are
neither familiar with the device and its application nor its instruction manual, to operate
the device. Electric devices can be dangerous, if used without the necessary knowledge.
Ensure that maintenance is performed regularly. Make sure that the device has been
assembled correctly and that moving parts are not obstructed in any way. Further
check the device for damage, signs of wear and other conditions that could possibly
limit the functionality or efficiency of the device. Do not operate the device in case of it
being damaged and instead have it repaired by qualified personnel. Many accidents oc-
cur due to poorly performed maintenance.
Always use the device and its accessories in accordance with the information and
safety instructions found in this instruction manual. The instructions found in this
manual thereby do not replace rules and regulations applying at your workplace and in-
stead complement them. Inappropriate use of this electric device can lead to severe acci-
dents.

Upon activation of the honey extractor, the display will light up. Make sure to perform a test
run by starting the device with a low speed setting and gradually increase the speed with help
of the speed controller.
Be careful not to accidentally deform the drum of the honey extractor when moving the device
as this can lead to contortion of its inner frame.
Additionally, make sure that the frames do not collide with the inside wall of the drum as this
might lead to the leakage of honey.
