Description
Balancers are used as accessories for cranes and chain hosts in car repair shops and help position-
ing/aligning the engine accurately. The risk of the engine canting when installing or removing it is mini-
mised, whereby an uncomplicated working process is ensured. Then balancer includes four 30 cm long
chains with safety hooks and extra-large fixing eyelets. It is longitudinally adjustable by 340 mm with the
help of a screw drive with crank handle.
Safety instructions/warnings
The owner and/or user must have read and understood the operating instructions of the device before
using it. Installed personnel should be cautious, competent, trained and qualified in the safe handling of
the working equipment used when working on engines and their components. Warnings should be read

•Do not overload the jack. Never use the balancer like a car jack. This balancer is intended only
for assistance in the installation and to remove parts of the vehicle.
•Only use the balancer on straight and solid ground that can carry the specified loads.
Description
The 750 kg balancer is used between a lifting hoist and an unwieldy heavy load such as a complete car
engine with gearbox. The device is designed in such a way that it can lift the object to be lifted as
efficiently as possible and at the same time allows the user to turn and position the object while doing
this.
Owner’s/user’s responsibility
•The owner and/or user must have an understanding of the manufacturer’s operating instructions
and warnings before using this device.
•Owner and/or user must study and maintain for future reference the manufacturer’s instructions.
•Owner and/or user are responsible for keeping all warning labels and instruction manuals legible
and intact. Replacement labels and literature are available from the manufacturer.
Inspection
•Visual inspection should be made before each use of the device, checking for damaged, loose,
or missing parts.
•Each component must be inspected by a qualified repair facility immediately if accidentally sub-
jected to an abnormal load or shock. Any component appearing to be damaged in any way,
found to be badly worn, or operating abnormally MUST BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE until
necessary repairs are made by a qualified repair facility.
•Annual inspection of the device by a qualified person is recommended.
Operating the device
1. To remove a car or truck engine with transmission, first uncouple the transmission and remove
motor mount bolts.
2. Position the balancer directly above the engine.
3. Attach the L-shape connections at the end of the four chains to the engine head bolts –two at
front, both sides, and two at rear, both sides.
4. Now the motor can be raised slowly and carefully with the help of the balancer. After a few
centimetres, check that the load is still balanced. In order to be able to readjust the desired
balance of the motor, the position of the movable axis of rotation can be changed with the help
of the hexagonal crank.
5. Then carefully remove the motor and gear unit from the motor housing.
6. Turn the motor by moving the handle to the left or right.
7. To reinstall the motor, follow the previous instructions in reverse order.
Attention:
•For this type of loads and others, make sure that all connections are tight and secure
before operating the hoist.
•The following operational instructions are recommended to prevent serious personal in-
jury or damage. Never use this device with an engine hoist having a capacity of less than
1 t!
