Curved Baffle Style Kit
Hardware 32” – 4ea. 3/8 x ¾ Flange Bolts
4ea. 3/8 Lock Flange Nuts
Hardware 36” – 4ea. 3/8 x ¾ Flange Bolts
4ea. 3/8 Lock Flange Nuts
Hardware 42” – 5ea. 3/8 x ¾ Flange Bolts

*NOTE: The Mulching kits are designed to function optimally with no less than 4-
blade washers.
1) Raise and secure machine.
2) Make sure to use all safety precautions.
3) Clean bottom of deck thoroughly.
4) For easier installation blades should be in horizontal position.
5) Put mulch baffle into place and mark holes. (Two people will make installation much
easier. One to hold part up to deck and the other to mark the holes. On newer model
units holes are pre-punched from the factory)
6) Using 25/64-drill bit, drill marked holes.
7) Install baffle and tighten. (Fig. 1) (Rotate blades by hand to make sure they do not hit
mulch kit baffle –adjust baffle if necessary).
