CONGRATULAZIONI... per l’acquisto del tuo nuovo casco.
Il design, l’ergonomia, il confort, il peso contenuto, l’aerodinamicità, i comandi semplici e
funzionali; il tutto è stato progettato e realizzato per ottenere un prodotto moderno e dalle
massime prestazioni, in grado di soddisfare le più elevate esigenze in termini di sicurezza
e comfort.
SICUREZZA E NORME D’USO
•IMPORTANTE!
-Leggi questo libretto e tutti gli altri documenti inclusi prima di utilizzare il tuo
casco perché contengono importanti informazioni che ti aiuteranno ad utilizzare
al meglio il casco, in tutta sicurezza e semplicità.
-Non attenersi a queste istruzioni potrebbe ridurre la protezione data dal casco e
quindi la tua incolumità.
• UTILIZZO DEL CASCO
- Il casco è progettato in modo specifico per l’uso motociclistico; perciò non garantisce la
medesima protezione per un uso diverso.
- In caso d’incidente, il casco è un elemento di protezione che permette di limitare lesio-
ni e danni alla testa. Ma nonostante ciò, non è in grado da solo di eliminare i rischi di
ferite gravi e/o mortali, le quali dipendono dalle diverse dinamiche specifiche dell’impat-
to; quindi guida con prudenza.
- Indossa sempre il tuo casco ben allacciato alla guida di motocicli, in modo da sfruttar-
ne tutta la protezione disponibile.
- Non indossare mai sciarpe sotto il sistema di allacciatura o cappelli sotto il casco.
- Il casco può attutire i rumori del traffico. Comunque, in tutti i casi, assicurati di percepi-
re bene i suoni necessari quali clacson e sirene di emergenza.
- Tienilo sempre lontano da fonti di calore, come ad esempio la marmitta di scarico, l’al-
loggiamento del bauletto o in un abitacolo di un mezzo di trasporto.
- Non modificare e/o manomettere il casco (anche solo in parte) per nessun motivo.
Monta solo accessori e/o ricambi originali adatti al tuo specifico modello di casco.
- Danni al casco, che possono essere causati da cadute accidentali, non sempre sono
ben visibili; ogni casco che abbia subito un urto violento deve essere sostituito.
- In caso di dubbi sull’integrità e sicurezza del casco, astieniti dall’utilizzarlo e rivolgiti ad
un rivenditore autorizzato, per farlo ispezionare.
•SCELTA DEL CASCO
Taglia:
- per individuare la taglia corretta, indossa caschi di diverse misure, e scegli quello che
risulta saldamente a posto, ma in tutto comfort.
- un casco troppo grande può scendere sino a coprire gli occhi, oppure ruotare lateral-
mente durante la guida.
- tienilo in testa per alcuni minuti e verifica che non ci siano zone di pressione, che alla
lunga possono provocare indolenzimento o mal di testa.
Scalzamento:
- con il casco indossato e il cinturino ben allacciato, prova a sfilarti il casco come indica-
to in figura (Fig A). Infatti, in caso di incidente, gli impatti ricevuti da diverse direzioni,
tendono a far scalzare il casco dalla testa.

ITALIANO
- il casco non deve ruotare, muoversi liberamente sulla testa o sfilarsi. In caso contra-
rio regola la lunghezza del cinturino o cambia taglia del casco. Ripeti di nuovo il test.
Sistema di ritenzione:
- il sistema di ritenzione (cinturino) è regolato di serie con una lunghezza standard;
prima di utilizzarlo verifica la corretta pre-regolazione.
- assicurati sempre che il cinturino sia bene allacciato e stretto in modo da tenere il
casco fermo sulla testa. In qualsiasi caso, prima di partire, assicurati che il cinturino
sia ben stretto sotto il mento, il più indietro possibile verso la gola, ma senza che sia
scomodo.
- la giusta tensione del cinturino ti deve permettere una respirazione e una deglutizio-
ne normale, ma senza riuscire a far passare un dito fra cinturino e gola.
-Attenzione: il bottone eventualmente presente sul cinturino ha esclusivamente la fun-
zione di impedire lo sventolio della parte terminale dello stesso, dopo che si è provve-
duto ad allacciarlo correttamente.
• VISIERA
- Se la visiera è danneggiata e presenta graffi marcati che riducono la visibilità, è proba-
bile che il trattamento protettivo sia stato compromesso, e pertanto la visiera deve esse-
re sostituita.
- Non applicare adesivi e vernici.
- La visiera è utilizzabile esclusivamente per il modello di casco per cui è stata pro-
gettata.
• MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
- Danni al casco, che possono essere causati da cadute accidentali, non sempre sono
ben visibili; ogni casco che abbia subito un urto violento deve essere sostituito.
-Attenzione: il casco e la visiera possono essere seriamente danneggiati da alcune
sostanze comuni senza che il danno sia visibile. Per le operazioni di pulizia del casco
e della visiera, utilizza solo acqua tiepida e sapone neutro; asciuga a temperatura
ambiente, a riparo dal sole e/o da fonti di calore.
-Attenzione: non utilizzare mai benzina, diluente, benzolo, solventi o altre sostanze chi-
miche perchè possono:
• danneggiare irrimediabilmente il casco
• modificare le proprietà ottiche, ridurre le proprietà meccaniche ed indebolire il tratta-
mento protettivo della visiera.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
• SISTEMA DI APERTURA DELLA MENTONIERA
Nota: Per calzare il casco non è necessario aprire la mentoniera.
1 APERTURA
• con casco non indossato
1.1 Afferrare il casco come indicato nella figura (Fig.1).
1.2 Spingere con i pollici le due leve rosse di apertura facendole ruotare in avanti; grazie
al sistema Smart Lift anche la leva destra ruoterà automaticamente in avanti.
1.3 Tirare in avanti la mentoniera (Fig. 2).
1.4 Accompagnare la rotazione della mentoniera nel suo movimento di apertura verso
l'alto (Fig. 2.)
• con casco indossato a veicolo fermo
1.5 Calzare il casco e allacciarlo. Aprire la visiera.
1.6 Spingere con i pollici le due leve rosse di apertura facendole ruotare in avanti; grazie
al sistema Smart Lift anche la leva destra ruoterà automaticamente in avanti (Fig. 3).
1.7 Tirare in avanti la mentoniera apribile ed accompagnarla nel suo movimento di rotazio-
ne verso l'alto. Durante la rotazione la visiera si chiuderà automaticamente (Fig. 2).
Attenzione: spingendo solo la leva rossa di destra, l'altra leva resterà ferma in posi-
zione chiusa e non sarà possibile aprire la mentoniera del casco.
2 CHIUSURA
2.1 Tirare la mentoniera verso il basso accompagnandola nel suo movimento di rotazio-
ne fino a sentire gli scatti del meccanismo di chiusura.
2.2 Accertarsi che la mentoniera sia correttamente agganciata.
Attenzione: la mentoniera deve rimanere chiusa e agganciata con il veicolo in movi-
mento.
• SISTEMA MECCANISMO VISIERA - DOUBLE ACTION
1 SMONTAGGIO
1.1 Staccare le placchette A1 e A 2 da entrambi i lati esercitando una leggera trazione
verso l’esterno sulla parte superiore (Fig. 4).
1.2 Sbloccare i nottoli di fissaggio B alle loro estremità tirandoli leggermente verso l’ester-
no e ruotandoli dalla pos.1 alla pos.2 (Fig. 5).
1.3 Togliere i nottoli facendo attenzione a non smarrire le molle di lavoro situate all'inter-
no dei nottoli di fissaggio B.
1.4 Rimuovere la visiera.
2 MONTAGGIO
2.1 Posizionare la visiera sul casco chiuso in posizione di visiera chiusa.

2.2 Iniziare da un lato ed assicurarsi che il dente di fasatura dell'ingranaggio di recupero
automatico della visiera (C) sia correttamente innestato nella cava di fasatura della
visiera (D) (Fig. 6).
2.3 Inserire il nottolo di fissaggio visiera B e ruotarlo dalla posizione 2 alla posizione 1 fino
a bloccare l'estremità nel perno (E) di fissaggio nottolo (Fig. 5).
Attenzione: il nottolo destro (R) è diverso dal sinistro (L).
2.4 Posizionare le placchette A2 e A1 alloggiando le linguette di aggancio nelle apposite
sedi ed esercitare una leggera pressione fino a sentire lo scatto di aggancio.
ATTENZIONE!!!
- Per un corretto funzionamento è fondamentale che il dente di fasatura sia corretta-
mente inserito nella rispettiva cava sulla visiera.
- Verificare che il sistema funzioni correttamente. Aprire la visiera; alzando la mento-
niera, la visiera si deve chiudere automaticamente.
3 DOUBLE ACTION
Questo casco è equipaggiato con il sistema fermo visiera Double Action, che permette di
rafforzare la chiusura della visiera evitandone l'apertura accidentale.
Per inserire il dispositivo Double Action, chiudere la visiera e agire sul cursore posto sul
lato sinistro del casco, portandolo dalla posizione A (Unlock) alla posizione B (Lock)
(Fig. 7).
Per disinserire il fermo, è sufficiente aprire la visiera in modo tradizionale il meccanismo si
sbloccherá automaticamente e il cursore si posizionerá da B ad A.
• RACING COMFORT: IMBOTTITURA DI CONFORTO INTERNA AMOVIBILE
1 SMONTAGGIO GUANCIALI
1.1 Aprire la mentoniera e sganciare il sottogola (Vedi istruzioni relative).
1.2 Afferrare la parte alta sull’imbottitura del guanciale e tirare verso l’interno per sgan-
ciare il primo bottone (Fig. 8).
1.3 Afferrare l’imbottitura verso la parte alta del guanciale e tirare verso l’interno per sgan-
ciare il secondo bottone.
1.4 Scendere verso la parte bassa del guanciale tirare verso l’interno per sganciare il
terzo e quarto bottone (Fig. 9).
1.5 Ripetere le operazione sull’altro guanciale.
2 SMONTAGGIO CUFFIA
2.1 Sganciare delicatamente il bottone guanciale in EPS sinistro e sfilare il telaietto lunet-
ta (Fig. 10).
2.2 Afferrare la lunetta posteriore nell’angolo sinistro e tirare verso l’alto per sganciare il
primo bottone; proseguire poi tirando la zona centrale e l’angolo destro della lunetta
posteriore per sganciare il secondo ed il terzo bottone (Fig. 11).
2.3 Sganciare delicatamente il bottone guanciale in EPS destro e sfilare il telaietto lunet-
ta (Fig. 12).

2.4 Afferrare la cuffia nella zona frontale partendo dal lato sinistro e tirare verso l’interno
del casco delicatamente per sganciare il primo gancio; proseguire poi verso il centro
e l’altra estremità frontale per sganciare il secondo ed il terzo gancio (Fig. 13).
2.5 Togliere completamente la cuffia dal casco.
3 MONTAGGIO CUFFIA
3.1 Inserire la cuffia nella cavità del casco facendola adagiare bene sul fondo in modo
simmetrico.
3.2 Controllare che tutti i punti di aggancio corrispondano tra loro e verificato il tutto
agganciare prima la zona frontale e poi la zona posteriore della cuffia, (eseguire in
ordine inverso le istruzioni 2.4 e 2.2). Controllare che il telaietto della zona frontale sia
ben infilato sotto la guarnizione bordo oblò.
3.3 Reinserire il telaietto lunetta e riagganciare il bottone guanciale EPS.
3.4 Ripetere l’operazione 3.3 anche per il lato opposto.
4 MONTAGGIO GUANCIALE
4.1 Allineare l’imbottitura in modo che i bottoni si trovino in asse con i fori sul guanciale
in EPS, verificato il tutto, agganciare il guanciale.
Attenzione: i bottoni sono agganciati solo quando si sente lo scatto.
4.2 Verificare che il cinturino esca bene dall’imbottitura del guanciale.
4.3 Ripetere le operazione 4.1 e 4.2 anche sull’altro lato del casco.
ATTENZIONE!!!
- Estrarre l’imbottitura solo quando è necessario pulirla o lavarla.
- Non usare mai il casco senza aver rimontato completamente e correttamente la sua
imbottitura interna di conforto ed i suoi guanciali.
- L'imbottitura di conforto interna non deve mai essere lavata in lavatrice.
- Per eseguire le operazioni sopra esposte non utilizzare mai attrezzi e utensili.
• NFRS – NOLAN FOG RESISTANT SYSTEM
(utilizza la licenza del brevetto
Pinlock ® )
1 MONTAGGIO
1.1 Smontare la visiera.
1.2 Rimuovere la pellicola di protezione del Visierino interno sul lato in contatto con la
Visiera.
1.3 Assicurandosi che la superficie interna della visiera sia pulita.
Attenzione: l’eventuale presenza di polvere tra le due visiere può causare dei graffi
su entrambe le superfici.
1.4 Appoggiare un lato del Visierino interno a uno dei due perni della visiera e tenerlo in
posizione. (fig. 14)
1.5 Allargare la visiera e incastrare all’altro perno il secondo lato del Visierino interno.

1.6 Rilasciare la visiera.
1.7 Rimuovere la seconda pellicola di protezione dal Visierino interno.
Attenzione: verificare l’ eventuale movimento tra visierino e visiera; in questo caso
agire sui perni eccentrici , utilizzando un cacciavite, per regolare l’ aderenza (Fig. 16).
1.8 Montare la visiera sul casco.
ATTENZIONE!!!
- Verificare il corretto montaggio del sistema aprendo e chiudendo la visiera.
- Visiere e Visierini Interni danneggiati da graffi possono ridurre la visibilità e
devono essere sostituiti.
2 SMONTAGGIO
2.1 Smontare la visiera equipaggiata con il Visierino.
2.2 Allargare la visiera, automaticamente il Visierino interno uscirà dalle sedi.
• WIND PROTECTOR / BREATH DEFLECTOR
Questi accessori permettono di migliorare le prestazioni del casco in particolari condizioni
di utilizzo.
Il paravento (Wind Protector) evita spiacevoli infiltrazioni d’aria da sotto il mento. Vedi
Fig. 17 per il montaggio e lo smontaggio.
Il deflettore paranaso (Breath Deflector) evita la formazione di condensa sulla visiera,
deviando il flusso d’aria verso il basso Vedi Fig. 18 per il montaggio e lo smontaggio.
ATTENZIONE!!!
Gli accessori paravento e deflettore paranaso sono facilmente amovibili.
Il corretto montaggio di questi accessori è verificabile tirandoli delicatamente, con pollice
e indice, verso l’interno del casco. Se si rimuovono ripeti le operazioni di montaggio.

This helmet has been designed and created to be a modern, high performing product, able
to satisfy the most demanding requests as for safety and comfort. This is made possible
by the helmet design, its being ergonomic, comfortable, extremely light and aerodynamic
and, last but not least, by its practical and easy-to-use controls.
SAFETY AND NORMS OF USE
•IMPORTANT!
-Before using the helmet read this booklet and all enclosed documents carefully,
in that they contain very important indications on how to use the helmet easily
and safely.
-Failure to observe these instructions may reduce the protection provided by the
helmet and consequently your safety.
•USING THE HELMET
- The helmet has been specifically designed for motorcycle use hence, for any use dif-
ferent from the intended one, equal protection is not guaranteed.
- In case of accident, the helmet represents a protective element, which reduces injuries
and head damage. This notwithstanding, it cannot alone prevent serious and/or fatal
injuries due to the specific accident dynamics, therefore drive carefully.
- When driving any motorcycle, always wear the helmet properly fastened in order to fully
exploit its protection.
- Never wear scarves under the fastening system or caps under the helmet.
- The helmet can muffle traffic noises. However make sure that you can hear essential
sounds such as horns and emergency vehicle sirens.
- Always keep the helmet away from heat sources like the exhaust muffler, the bag seat
or the interior of a vehicle.
- Do not modify nor damage the helmet or part of it for whatsoever reason. Use only orig-
inal accessories and/or spare parts suitable for your specific helmet model.
- Damage resulting from accidental fall may not be visible; helmets, which received vio-
lent impacts, are to be replaced.
- In case of doubt about the helmet integrity and safety, avoid using it and contact an
authorized dealer to let it check.
• CHOOSING THE HELMET
Size:
- In order to determine the correct size, try on helmets of various sizes, and then choose
the one, which fits firmly, but being comfortable.
- Should the helmet be too big, it may slide down covering the eyes or turn slowly to the
side while riding.
- Keep it on for a few minutes and make sure there are no points of extreme pressure
that may cause pain or headache.
Taking off the helmet:
- With the helmet on and the strap well fastened, try to take off the helmet as shown in
the figure (Fig. A). Indeed, in case of accident, the impacts tend to slide off the helmet
from the head.

ENGLISH
- The helmet should not rotate nor move on the head and should not slide off. Should
the contrary happen, adjust strap length or change helmet size. Repeat test.
Retention System:
- The retention system (strap) is factory-adjusted at a standard length. Before use,
check that it is correctly pre-adjusted.
- Make sure the strap is properly fastened and tightened so as to keep the helmet firm-
ly in place. Anyway, before riding, make sure that the strap is well fastened under the
chin, as close as possible to the throat, but without being uncomfortable.
- The correct strap tension should allow normal breathing and swallowing, but without
leaving the space of a finger between strap and throat.
-Attention: the button which may be present on the strap only prevents its end from flap-
ping once the strap has been fastened properly.
•VISOR:
- If the visor is damaged or deeply scratched causing reduced visibility, this means that
the protective treatment is probably damaged so the visor is to be replaced.
- Do not paint nor apply stickers.
- The visor can be used only for the intended helmet model.
• MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Damage resulting from accidental fall may not be visible; helmets, which received vio-
lent impacts, are to be replaced.
-Attention: Helmet and visor may be seriously damaged by some common substances
without the damage being however visible. Use only lukewarm water and mild soap to
clean helmet and visor, and then let them dry at room temperature away from sunrays
and/or heat sources.
-Attention: Never use petrol, thinner, benzene, solvents nor other chemicals which may:
• Irreparably damage the helmet
• Modify optical properties, reduce mechanical ones and weaken the visor protective
treatment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• CHIN-GUARD OPENING SYSTEM
Note: It is not necessary to open the chin-guard to wear the helmet.
1 OPENING
• When you are not wearing the helmet
1.1 Take the helmet as shown in figure 1.
1.2 Push with your thumbs the two red opening levers rotating them forward, or rotate for-
ward the "Smart Lift" red lever; the Smart Lift system will make the right lever rotate
automatically forward.
1.3 Pull forward the chin-guard (Fig. 2).
1.4 Accompany the chin-guard rotation in its upward opening movement (Fig. 2).
• When you are wearing the helmet and the vehicle is temporary stopped
1.5 Wear the helmet and buckle it. Open the visor.
1.6 Push with your thumbs the two red opening levers rotating them forward, or rotate for-
ward the "Smart Lift" red lever; the Smart Lift system will make the right lever rotate
automatically forward (Fig. 3).
1.7 Pull forward the liftable chin-guard and accompany it in its upward rotation movement.
During the rotation the visor will close automatically (Fig. 2).
Warning: only using the right red lever, the other one will be kept closed and the hel-
met chin guard cannot be opened.
2 CLOSING
2.1 Pull the chin guard downward and rotate until it snaps.
2.2 Make sure that the chin guard is correctly locked.
Warning: the chin-guard must be kept closed and locked wazhen the vehicle is
moving.
• VISOR MECHANISM - DOUBLE ACTION
1 DISASSEMBLY
1 .1 Remove the cover plates A1 and A2 from both sides by lightly pulling the upper part.
(Fig. 4 )
1.2 Unlock the locking bolts B by lightly pulling and rotating them from position 1 to posi-
tion 2. (Fig. 5)
1.3 Remove the bolts making sure not to lose the service springs which are inside the
bolts B.
1.4 Remove the visor.

2 ASSEMBLY
2.1 Put the visor in the closed position on the closed helmet.
2.2 Begin from one side and make sure that the hooking tooth of the visor automatic
recover mechanism (C) is correctly engaged in the visor reference slot (D) (Fig. 6).
2.3 Insert the locking bolt B and rotate it from position 2 to position 1 until its end is
blocked by the fixing pivot (E) (Fig. 5).
Attention: the right locking bolt (R) is different from the left one (L).
2.4 Position the plates A2 and A1 by placing the hooking splines in their seats and push
slightly until you hear the hooking click.
WARNING!!!
- For a proper functioning it is fundamental that the hooking tooth is correctly inserted
in the corresponding slot on the visor.
- Verify that the system works properly: open the visor. When raising the opening chin-
guard, the visor must close automatically.
3 DOUBLE ACTION
This helmet is equipped with the visor locking system Double Action, which allows to rein-
force the visor locking, thus avoiding accidental opening.
To operate the Double Action mechanism, close the visor and move the cursor on the left
side of the helmet from position A (Unlock) to position B (Lock) (see Fig. 7).
To unlock the visor, you just open it in the usual way.
The mechanism will work automatically and the cursor will pass from B to A position.
• RACING COMFORT REMOVABLE & WASHABLE COMFORT PADDING
1 DISASSEMBLY OF THE CHEEK PADS
1.1 Open the chin guard and unfasten the chin strap.
1.2 Hold the top of the cheek pad and pull it inwards to unhook the first button (Fig. 8).
1.3 Hold the padding by the top of the cheek pad and pull inwards to unhook the second
button.
1.4 Hold then the bottom of the cheek pad and pull it inwards to unhook the third and
fourth button (Fig. 9).
1.5 Repeat step on the other cheek pad.
2 DISASSEMBLY OF THE LINER
2.1 Delicately unhook the left EPS cheek pad button and remove the rest frame (Fig. 10.
2.2 Take hold of the back rest by the left-hand corner and pull upwards to unhook the first
button. Then proceed by pulling the centre section and the right corner of the back
rest to unhook the second and third button (Fig. 11).
2.3 Delicately unhook the right EPS cheek pad button and remove the rest frame (Fig. 12).

2.4 Take hold of the left side of the liner front section and gently pull it inwards to unhook
the first hook. Then move towards the centre and the other front edge to unhook the
second and third hook (Fig. 13).
2.5 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE LINER
3.1 Insert the liner into the shell of the helmet and fit it well against the base.
3.2 Make sure that all couplings match. Hook the front portion, then the rear of the liner,
(to execute in reverse order steps 2.4 and 2.2).
Make sure that the frame of the front section is fitted well under the window trim edge.
3.3 Reposition the rest frame and hook the EPS cheek pad button, as described in step 2.3.
3.4 Repeat step 3.3 on the opposite side of the helmet, as described in step 2.1.
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE CHEEK PADS
4.1 Position the padding making sure that the buttons are aligned with the EPS cheek pad
holes. Then hook the cheek pad.
4.2 Make sure that the chin strap protrudes from the cheek pad.
4.3 Repeat step 4.1 and 4.2 on the other side of the helmet.
WARNING!!!
- Take out the inner padding only to clean and wash it.
- Never use your helmet without having correctly and completely replaced the inner
comfort padding as well as the cheek pads.
- Do not machine wash.
- Never use any tools to carry out the above-described operations.
• NFRS – NOLAN FOG RESISTANT SYSTEM
(uses the patent licence of
Pinlock ® )
1 INNER VISOR ASSEMBLY
1.1 Remove the visor.
1.2 Remove the protective film from the inner visor on the face in contact with the visor.
1.3 Check the inner surface of the visor is clean.
Attention: the presence of dust between the visors can produce scratches on both
surfaces.
1.4 Rest one side of the inner visor on one of the visor pins and hold it in position (Fig. 14).
1.5 Open the visor and fasten the other side of the inner visor to the second pin (Fig. 15).
1.6 Release the visor.
1.7 Remove the second protective film from the inner visor.
Attention: check that both visors are tightly connected and do not move; if they do,
adjust the spring pins using a screwdriver to set the adherence (Fig. 16).

2 DISASSEMBLY
2.1 Remove the visor equipped with inner visor.
2.2 Widen the visor: the inner visor will come off automatically.
• WIND PROTECTOR / BREATH DEFLECTOR
These accessories allow to improve the helmet performances in particular use conditions.
The wind protector prevents annoying air infiltration from the chin area (see Fig. 17 for
assembly and disassembly).
The breath deflector prevents the visor misting by diverting the breath flow downward
(see Fig. 18 for assembly and disassembly).
ATTENTION!!!
The wind protector and breath deflector are easily removable. The correct assembling of
these accessories can be checked by pulling them slightly with your thumb and forefinger.
If they move, then repeat the assembling operations.

SICHERHEIT UND GEBRAUCHSVORSCHRIFTEN
• WICHTIG!
-Lesen sie dieses Heft und alle anderen beigefügten Unterlagen vor Verwendung
Ihres Helms, da sie wichtige Informationen enthalten, die Ihnen helfen, den Helm
richtig, sicher und einfach zu verwenden.
- Wenn Sie sich nicht an diese Anweisungen halten, könnte der vom Helm gebote-
ne Schutz sich verringern, und somit Ihre Unversehrtheit nicht mehr gewährlei-
stet sein.
• VERWENDUNG DES HELMS
- Der Helm wurde speziell für die Verwendung beim Motorradfahren entworfen; daher
garantiert er nicht den selben Schutz, wenn er anderswertig eingesetzt wird.
- Im Fall eines Unfalls ist der Helm ein Schutzgerät, das es ermöglicht, Kopfverletzungen
und –schäden zu begrenzen. Trotzdem ist er nicht allein in der Lage, das Risiko schwe-
rer und/oder tödlicher Verletzungen auszuschließen, welche von den unterschiedlichen
spezifischen Verlaufsweisen des Aufpralls abhängen; fahren Sie daher vorsichtig.
- Setzen Sie beim Motorradfahren immer Ihren gut festgezogenen Helm auf, um den
größtmöglichen Schutz zu erhalten.
- Legen Sie niemals Schals unter dem Verschlusssystem an und setzen Sie unter dem
Helm keine Mützen auf.
- Der Helm kann die Verkehrsgeräusche abdämpfen. Versichern Sie sich in jedem Fall,
dass Sie die nötigen Geräusche wie Hupen und Notsirenen gut hören.
- Bewahren Sie den Helm fern von Wärmequellen auf, wie zum Beispiel dem
Auspuffrohr, dem Kofferraum oder dem Innenraum eines Verkehrsmittels.
- Verändern und/oder beschädigen Sie den Helm in keinem Fall (auch nicht teilweise).
Montieren Sie nur Originalersatzteile und/oder –zubehörteile die eigens für Ihr
Helmmodell vorgesehen sind.
- Beschädigungen des Helms, die durch ein versehentliches Fallen verursacht werden
können, sind nicht immer sichtbar; jeder Helm, der einem heftigen Stoß erfahren hat,
muss ersetzt werden.
- Sollten Sie über die Unversehrtheit und Sicherheit Ihres Helms im Zweifel sein, benut-
zen Sie ihn nicht und wenden Sie sich an einen autorisierten Fachhändler, um ihn
untersuchen zu lassen.
• HELMWAHL
Größe:
- Um die richtige Größe zu ermitteln, setzen Sie Helme unterschiedlicher Ausmaße auf
und wählen Sie den, der fest aber völlig bequem anliegt.
- Ein zu großer Helm kann über die Augen herabsinken oder während der Fahrt seitlich
verrutschen.
- Behalten Sie ihn einige Minuten lang auf, um zu verifizieren, dass keine Druckstellen
bestehen, die auf längere Zeit Gefühllosigkeit oder Kopfschmerzen verursachen können.

Abstreifen des Helms:
- Versuchen Sie den aufgesetzten und festgeschnallten Helm wie in der Abbildung
(Abb. A) gezeigt abzustreifen. Bei einem Unfall tendieren die aus unterschiedlichen
Richtungen kommenden Stöße nämlich dazu, den Helm vom Kopf zu streifen.
- Der Helm darf sich weder drehen, noch sich frei um den Kopf herum bewegen oder
abstreifen lassen. In entgegengesetztem Fall regulieren Sie die Kinnriemenlänge
oder wählen Sie eine andere Helmgröße. Wiederholen Sie den Test.
Rückhaltesystem:
- Das Rückhaltesystem (Kinnriemen) ist in Serie auf eine Standardlänge eingestellt;
vor der Verwendung kontrollieren Sie die richtige Vor-Einstellung.
- Versichern Sie sich immer, dass der Kinnriemen gut verschlossen und festgezogen ist,
damit der Helm fest auf dem Kopf sitzt. Versichern Sie sich in jedem Fall vor der
Abfahrt, dass der Kinnriemen unter dem Kinn eng anliegt, so weit wie möglich in
Richtung des Halses, aber ohne unbequem zu sein.
- Die richtige Kinnriemenspannung muss ihnen ein normales Atmen und Schlucken erlau-
ben, es darf aber nicht möglich sein, einen Finger zwischen Riemen und Hals zu stecken.
-Achtung: der Knopf, welcher sich am Ende des Kinnriemens befindet, hat ausschließ-
lich die Funktion, das Flattern des Endstücks zu verhindern, nachdem er korrekt fest-
geschnallt worden ist.
• VISIER
- Ist das Visier beschädigt und weist es deutliche Kratzer auf, welche die Sicht behindern,
ist es möglich, dass die Schutzbehandlung lädiert wurde; in diesem Fall muss das
Visier ersetzt werden.
- Bringen Sie keine Aufkleber oder Lackfarben an.
- Das Visier ist ausschließlich für das Helmmodell, für das es entworfen wurde, verwendbar.
• INSTANDHALTUNG UND REINIGUNG
- Beschädigungen des Helms, die durch ein versehentliches Fallen verursacht werden
können, sind nicht immer sichtbar; jeder Helm, der einem heftigen Stoß erfahren hat,
muss ersetzt werden.
- Achtung: Der Helm und das Visier können durch einige übliche chemische Substanzen
ernsthaft beschädigt werden, ohne dass der Schaden sichtbar ist. Für die Reinigung
des Helms und des Visiers nur lauwarmes Wasser und Neutralseife verwenden; bei
Raumtemperatur im Schatten und fern von Wärmequellen trocknen lassen.
- Achtung: Keinesfalls Benzin, Verdünnungsmittel, Benzol, Lösungsmittel oder andere
chemische Substanzen verwenden. Diese können:
• den Helm unwiederbringlich beschädigen
• die optischen Eigenschaften verändern, die mechanischen Eigenschaften verringern
und die Schutzbehandlung des Visiers schwächen.

Hinweis Zum Aufsetzen des Helms ist es nicht erforderlich, das Kinnteil aufzuklappen.
1 ÖFFNEN DES KINNTEILES
• Wenn Sie den Helm nicht aufhaben
1.1 Halten Sie den Helm wie in Abb.1 gezeigt wird.
1.2 Schwenken Sie die beiden roten Riegel mit den Daumen nach vorne, oder schwen-
ken Sie den roten Hebel “Smart Lift” nach vorne; dank dem Smart Lift System wird
sich auch der rechte Hebel automatisch nach vorne drehen.
1.3 Schieben Sie das Kinnteil nach vorne (Abb. 2).
1.4 Führen Sie das Kinnteil bis es ganz aufgeklappt ist (Abb. 2).
• Wenn Sie bei stehendem Fahrzeug den Helm aufhaben
1.5 Der Helm soll korrekt sitzen und der Kinnriemen geschlossen sein das Visier öffnen.
1.6 Schwenken Sie die beiden roten Riegel mit dem Daumen nach vorne, oder schwen-
ken Sie den roten Hebel “Smart Lift” nach vorne; dank dem Smart Lift System wird

1.7 Schieben Sie das aufklappbare Kinnteil nach vorne und schwenken Sie es nach
oben. Das Visier wird dabei automatisch geschlossen (Abb. 2).
Achtung: wird nur rechts der rote Hebel betätigt, so bleibt der andere Hebel in
geschlossener Stellung und das Kinnteil kann nicht aufgeklappt werden.
2 SCHLIEßEN DES KINNTEILS
2.1 Schwenken Sie das Kinnteil nach unten bis Sie das Einschnappen des
Verschlussmechanismus hören.
2.2 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Kinnteil richtig geschlossen ist.
Achtung: während der Fahrt muss das Kinnteil korrekt geschlossen sein.
• VISIERMECHANISMUS - DOUBLE ACTION
1 ABNEHMEN
1.1 Entfernen Sie die Seitendeckel A1 und A2 auf beiden Seiten, indem Sie an der
Oberkante ziehen (Abb. 4).
1.2 Die Sicherungsplättchen B bei der Gravur “PULL” etwas anheben und von Position 1
zu Position 2 drehen (Abb. 5).
1.3 Entfernen Sie die Plättchen B, aber verlieren Sie dabei nicht die Rastzapfen, welche
sich auf der Innenseite der Plättchen befinden.
1.4 Nehmen Sie das Visier vom Helm ab.
2 ANBRINGEN
2.1 Legen Sie das Visier in Schließstellung auf den geschlossenen Helm.

2.2 Achten Sie darauf, daß der Rastzahn der Visier-Schließautomatik (C) in die entspr
chende Vertiefung am Visier eingreift (D) (Abb. 6).
2.3 Stecken Sie die Halteplättchen B in die entsprechenden Vertiefungen und drehen Sie
die Plättchen von Position 2 zu Position 1 bis diese durch die Zapfen (E) (Abb. 5)
gesichert sind.
Achtung: Die Sicherungsplättchen sind nicht seitengleich, sie sind mit R (rechts)
und L (links) gekennzeichnet.
2.4 Hängen Sie die Seitendeckel A2 und A1 mit Ihren vorderen und unteren Haken ein
und drücken Sie im hinteren Bereich, bis der Rastzepfen hörbar einschnappt.
ACHTUNG!!!
- Für eine richtige Funktion ist entscheidend, dass Punkt 2 genau beachtet wird und
der o. g. Rastzahn in seine entsprechende Vertiefung am Visier richtig eingreift.
- Prüfen Sie, ob der Mechanismus richtig arbeitet: Öffnen Sie das Visier - wenn das
Kinnteil hochgeklappt wird, muß sich das Visier automatisch schließen.
3 DOUBLE ACTION
Dieser Helm ist mit dem Visier - Arretierungs - System “Double Action” ausgestattet, wel-
ches eine Verstärkung der Visierrastung ermöglicht, um unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen des
Visieres zu vermeiden. Das Double Action wird aktiviert, indem man das Visier schließt
und dann den Hebel am linken Seitendeckel von Position A (Unlock) zu Position B (Lock)
schwenkt (Abb. 7). Um die Arretierung zu beseitigen, muß lediglich das Visier auf norma-
le Art geöffnet werden. Die Mechanik bewirkt dabei die automatische Rückstellung des
Hebels von Position B zu A.
• RACING COMFORT ABNEHMBARE UND WASCHBARE KOMFORTLSTERUNG
1 HERAUSNEHMEN DER WANGENPOLSTER
1.1 Das Kinnteil öffnen und den Kinnriemen lösen.
1.2 Den oberen Teil des Polsters so weit nach innen ziehen, bis sich der erste Knopf löst
(Abb. 8).
1.3 Das Polster am oberen Bereich des Kinnteils fassen und nach innen ziehen, bis sich
der zweite Knopf löst.
1.4 Den unteren Bereich des Kinnteils nach innen ziehen, bis sich der dritte und der vier-
te Knopf löst (Abb. 9).
1.5 Den Schritt auf der anderen Helmseite wiederholen.
2 HERAUSNEHMEN DER POLSTERUNG
2.1 Den linken Knopf der Wangenpolsterung vorsichtig lösen und den Rand des
Nackenpolsters herausziehen (Abb. 10).
2.2 Die linke Ecke des Nackenpolsters fassen und nach oben ziehen, bis sich der erste
Knopf löst; anschließend die rechte Ecke des Nackenpolsters fassen und Richtung
Mitte ziehen, bis sich der zweite und der dritte Knopf löst (Abb. 11).

2.3 Den rechten Knopf der Wangenpolsterung vorsichtig lösen und den Rand des
Nackenpolsters herausziehen (Abb. 12).
2.4 Die Polsterung von der linken Seite am Stirnbereich fassen und behutsam ins Innere
des Helms ziehen, bis sich der erste Haken löst. Diesen Vorgang bis zur Mitte aus-
führen und auf der anderen Seite des Stirnbereichs wiederholen, um den zweiten und
den dritten Haken zu lösen (Abb. 13).
2.5 Die gesamte Polsterung aus dem Helm herausnehmen.
3 EINSETZEN DER POLSTERUNG
3.1 Die Polsterung in den Helm einlegen und richtig und symmetrisch positionieren.
3.2 Kontrollieren, dass alle Befestigungspunkte aufeinander abgestimmt sind und
anschließend zunächst den Stirnbereich und dann den hinteren Teil der Polsterung
befestigen. Dabei werden alle Schritte gemäß der Anleitungen 2.4 und 2.2 in umge-
kehrter Reihenfolge ausgeführt, und kontrollieren Sie, ob der vordere Rand fest unter
dem Visierrahmen angebracht ist.
3.3 Den Rand des Nackenpolsters wieder einsetzen und den Knopf der
Wangenpolsterung aus EPS gemäß Schritt 2.3 wieder anknöpfen.
3.4 Den Schritt 3.3 auch auf der anderen Seite des Helms gemäß Schritt 2.1 wiederho-
len.
4 EINSETZEN DES WANGENPOLSTERS
4.1 Die Polsterung so einlegen, dass die Knöpfe entsprechend der Öffnungen auf dem
Wangenpolster aus EPS positioniert werden. Nach einer Überprüfung wird das
Wangenpolster angeknöpft.
4.2 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Kinnriemen weit genug aus dem Wangenpolster her-
ausgezogen ist.
4.3 Den Vorgang n.4.1 und 4.2 auch für die andere Seite des Helmes wiederholen.
ACHTUNG!!!
- Die Polsterung nur zum Reinigen entfernen.
- Den Helm nie ohne korrekt und vollständig angebrachte Komfortpolsterung bzw.
Wangenpolsterungen verwenden.
- Das Futter niemals in der Waschmaschine waschen.
- Die oben angeführten Schritte müssen ohne den Einsatz von Werkzeugen ausgeführt
werden.

1 ANBRINGEN DES INNENVISIERS
1.1 Das Visier abnehmen.
1.2 Den Schutzfilm des Innenvisiers auf der Auflageseite auf dem Visier abnehmen.
1.3 Sicherstellen, dass die Visierinnenseite sauber ist.
Achtung: das Vorhandensein von Staub zwischen dem Visier und dem Innenvisier
kann Kratzer auf beiden Oberflächen verursachen.

1.4 Eine Seite des Innenvisiers auf einen der beiden Zapfen des Visiers auflegen und in
dieser Position halten (Abb. 14).
1.5 Das Visier aufbiegen und die zweite Seite des Innenvisiers auf dem anderen Zapfen
einstecken (Abb. 15).
1.6 Das Visier loslassen.
1.7 Den zweiten Schutzfilm vom Innenvisier abnehmen.
Achtung: überprüfen, ob das Visier und das Innenvisier fest miteinander verbunden
sind. Im gegenteiligen Falle ist unter Verwendung eines Schraubenziehers an den
exzentrischen Buchsen zu drehen, um die Haftung einzustellen (Abb. 16).
1.8 Das Visier auf dem Helm anbringen.
ACHTUNG!!!
- Durch Öffnen und Schließen des Visiers überprüfen, ob das System korrekt
montiert wurde.
- Durch Kratzer beschädigte Visiere und Innenvisiere könnten die Sicht beein-
trächtigen und müssen ausgetauscht werden.
2 ABNAHME
2.1 Das mit dem Innenvisier ausgestattete Visier abnehmen.
2.2 Das Visier aufbiegen und das Innenvisier springt automatisch aus den Aufnahmen.
• WINDABWEISER / ATEMMASKE
Dieses Zubehör verbessert unter bestimmten Bedingungen die Eigenschaften des
Helmes.
Der Windabweiser schützt vor Zugluft im unteren Gesichtsfeld und reduziert die
Windgeräusche (s. Abb. 17 für des Anbringen und Abnehmen).
Die Atemmaske verringert die Beschlagneigung, indem Sie die Atemluft nach unten leitet
(s. Abb. 18 für des Anbringen und Abnehmen).
ACHTUNG!!!
Hinweis Windabweiser und Atemmaske sind leicht abnehmbar. Der richtige Sitz dieser
Zubehörteile wird geprüft durch leichtes Ziehen mit Daumen und Zeigefinger. Wenn sich
die Teile dabei bewegen, muß die Montage wiederholt werden.

SÉCURITÉ ET INSTRUCTIONS D'UTILISATION
• IMPORTANT !

que parce qu’ ils contiennent des informations importantes qui vous aideront à
employer au mieux le casque, en toute sécurité et simplicité.
- Conformez-vous scrupuleusement aux indications, sous peine de réduire la pro-
tection garantie par le casque et donc votre sécurité.
• EMPLOI DU CASQUE
- Le casque a été expressément conçu pour l’emploi avec la moto, pour cette raison il ne
garantit pas la même protection pour un emploi différent.
- En cas d’accident, le casque est un élément de protection qui permet de limiter les
lésions et les dommages à la tête. Mais malgré cela, il n’est pas en gré tout seul d’éli-
miner les risques de blessures graves et/ou mortelles, qui dépendent des dynamiques
différentes spécifiques du choc, pour cette raison conduisez avec prudence.
- Mettez toujours le casque bien fixé pour conduire la moto, pour faire en sorte que sa
protection soit maximale.
- Ne portez jamais d’écharpes sous le système de fixation ou de bonnets sous le cas-
que.
- Le casque peut assourdir les bruits de la circulation. En tous les cas, veillez toujours à
ce que vous puissiez bien entendre les bruits nécessaires comme les klaxons et les
sirènes d’alerte.
- Gardez toujours le casque loin de sources de chaleur, comme par exemple le pot
d’échappement, le logement du coffret ou l’habitacle d’un moyen de transport.
- Ne modifiez et/ou altérez pas le casque (même si seulement en partie) pour aucune rai-
son. Ne montez que les accessoires et/ou rechanges originaux pour votre modèle spé-
cifique de casque.
- Les dommages au casque qui sont causés par des chutes accidentelles ne sont pas
toujours bien visibles, si le casque subit un choc violent il doit être remplacé.
- En cas de doutes sur l’intégrité et sécurité du casque, abstenez-vous de l’utiliser et
adressez-vous à un revendeur agrée pour le faire examiner.
• CHOIX DU CASQUE
Taille :
- pour trouver votre taille correcte essayez toujours plusieurs casques de mesures diffé-
rentes et choisissez celui qui vous semble le plus adhérent sans être inconfortable.
- un casque trop grand peut descendre jusqu’à couvrir les yeux, ou il peut tourner laté-
ralement pendant la conduite.
- gardez-le sur la tête pendant quelques minutes et vérifiez qu’il n’y ait aucune zone de
pression localisée, qui à la longue peut provoquer des douleurs ou des maux de tête.
Enlèvement :
- lorsque le casque est sur votre tête et que le système de fixation est bouclé, essayez
