ATTENZIONE! Conserva questo manuale e gli altri allegati al

migliore utilizzo di questo casco. Leggili attentamente prima di
utilizzare il tuo nuovo casco.
A - Calotta esterna
Sviluppata in tre misure, con caratteristiche qualitative e di
leggerezza superiori, grazie all’elevata specializzazione delle tec-
nologie applicate al procedimento di stampaggio Bag Moulding,
unitamente all’utilizzo di pregiate fibre hi-tech (carbonio,
Kevlar®, Kural®, vetro).
B - Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: Visiera piana a spessore
costante in ®antigraffio
La visiera, stampata ad iniezione in ®, è resistente al graf-
fio e presenta una superficie esterna piana (vedi istruzioni all’in-
terno di questo libretto).
È inoltre provvista di agganci per l’applicazione di visierine sup-
plementari Tear-Off, disponibili come accessorio (vedi cartellino
specifico allegato).
C - Meccanismo visiera
Il meccanismo visiera permette le seguenti funzioni (vedi istruzio-
ni all’interno di questo libretto):
-rotazione di apertura e chiusura della visiera con posizioni
intermedie;
-sgancio rapido della visiera senza uso di utensili;
-regolazione (4 mm) del tiraggio tra la visiera e la guarnizione oblò.
D - Guarnizione visiera
La guarnizione assicura una perfetta chiusura della visiera, evi-
tando infiltrazioni di aria e di acqua.
E - Nolan Top Fog Resistant System
È costituito da un visierino interno antiappannante - dotazione di

serie su alcune versioni - che all’occorrenza può essere facilmente
e velocemente assemblato (vedi cartellino specifico allegato).
F-Sistemi di ritenzione con cinturino imbottito in tessuto
anallergico trattato :
-MICROLOCK sistema brevettato con regolazione micrometrica
(vedi cartellino specifico allegato).
-DOPPI ANELLI (D-Rings) (vedi cartellino specifico allegato).
G - Racing Comfort, imbottitura di conforto
Imbottitura interna - su alcune versioni completamente estraibile
e lavabile - realizzata con tessuti di alta qualità dalle specifiche
caratteristiche di comfort, traspirabilità e resistenza (vedi istru-
zioni all’interno di questo libretto).
Trattamento che assicura igiene e freschezza e pre-
viene per lungo tempo la formazione di odori sgradevoli (vedi
cartellino specifico allegato).
H - Sistema di ventilazione
Nuovo sistema di ventilazione composto da:
VENTILAZIONE SUPERIORE: Le due prese d’aria superiori convo-
gliano una parte dell’aria direttamente all’interno del casco per
permettere l’ aerazione interna. La parte restante dell’aria, incana-
lata nell’aeratore superiore, fluisce verso la parte posteriore
estraendo dall’interno del casco l’aria viziata e garantendo il
ricambio d’aria fino allo scarico all’esterno, in corrispondenza dei
due spoiler posteriori.
VENTILAZIONE INFERIORE: le due prese d’aria inferiori convo-
gliano l’aria direttamente all’interno del casco e sulla superficie
interna della visiera limitandone l’appannamento.
L-Paravento e deflettore paranaso amovibili
(vedi cartellino specifico allegato)
Le specifiche indicate possono variare
1. Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: visiera piana a
spessore costante in LEXAN®antigraffio
1.1 Apertura
Far ruotare la visiera verso l’alto utilizzando l’apposita linguetta
situata nella parte inferiore della visiera.
1.2 Chiusura
Spingere la visiera verso il basso afferrando l’apposita linguetta
situata nella parte inferiore della visiera.
1.3 Smontaggio (fig. 1)
1.3.1 Aprire completamente la visiera (vedi punto 1.1).
1.3.2 Tenendo premuto il tasto sblocco visiera (A) far scorrere in
avanti la visiera fino allo scatto.
1.3.3 Svincolare i ganci visiera (B1 e B2) dalla loro sede.
1.3.4 Ripetere le precedenti operazioni dall’altro lato del casco.
Attenzione!
Non rimuovere i meccanismi d’apertura e chiusura visiera dalla
calotta. Se questi dovessero presentare dei malfunzionamenti o
danneggiamenti, rivolgersi ad un rivenditore autorizzato Nolan.
1.4 Montaggio (fig. 2)
1.4.1 Sistemare la visiera in posizione aperta posizionando i
ganci visiera (B1 e B2) in corrispondenza delle apposite
sedi ricavate nel meccanismo visiera.
1.4.2 Inserire il gancio B1 nella apposita sede e premere la
visiera contro la calotta in corrispondenza del gancio B2,
azionando così il tasto sblocco visiera.

1.4.3 Far scorrere la visiera facendo scattare il sistema di bloc-
co visiera.
1.4.4 Ripetere le precedenti operazioni dall’altro lato del casco.
Attenzione!
Verificare il corretto funzionamento del meccanismo aprendo e
chiudendo la visiera per più volte.
1.5 Regolazione della visiera (fig. 3)
Il meccanismo visiera è dotato di un sistema di regolazione del
gioco della visiera che permette di garantire e mantenere un’effi-
cace chiusura della visiera contro la guarnizione dell’oblò. A tale
scopo il supporto del meccanismo è caratterizzato da una den-
tatura di riferimento superiore ed inferiore.
Al momento dell’acquisto il casco viene fornito con la corretta
regolazione del sistema. Durante l’uso del casco verificare perio-
dicamente che la visiera, quando è completamente chiusa, ade-
risca in modo omogeneo e simmetrico al labbro deformabile
della guarnizione dell’oblò.
Se ciò non accadesse, eseguire le seguenti operazioni:
1.5.1 Smontare la visiera (vedi punto 1.3) e verificare in quale
posizione della dentatura di riferimento superiore A1 ed
inferiore A2 si trova il meccanismo.
1.5.2 Allentare le due viti B1 e B2 presenti nel meccanismo
visiera utilizzando una chiave a brugola di 2.5 mm.
1.5.3 Sollevare il meccanismo dal suo supporto e traslarlo in
avanti o indietro a seconda della regolazione che si vuole
effettuare; successivamente riabbassare il meccanismo
sul suo supporto in modo che i dentini di regolazione
superiori A1 ed inferiori A2 impegnino la medesima posi-
zione.
1.5.4 Serrare le due viti B1 e B2.
1.5.5 Ripetere le operazioni 1.5.2, 1.5.3 e 1.5.4 sull’altro lato del
casco.
1.5.6 Montare la visiera (vedi punto 1.4)
1.5.7 Eseguire la verifica dell’aderenza tra visiera e guarnizione.
Attenzione!
- Verificare il corretto funzionamento del meccanismo aprendo e
chiudendo la visiera per più volte.
-Non rimuovere i meccanismi d’apertura e chiusura visiera dalla
calotta. Se questi dovessero presentare dei malfunzionamenti o
danneggiamenti, rivolgersi ad un rivenditore autorizzato Nolan.

1.6 Manutenzione e pulizia
PER LE OPERAZIONI DI PULIZIA UTILIZZARE SOLO ACQUA,
SAPONE NEUTRO E ASCIUGARE AIUTANDOSI CON ARIA
COMPRESSA.
Scratch Resistant Racing Visor
La visiera di questo casco, con superficie esterna piana, è provvi-
sta di agganci regolabili per l’applicazione di visierine supplemen-
tari tear-off con lo stesso sistema utilizzato dai piloti professionisti.
Per il montaggio delle visierine supplementari tear-off vedere
istruzioni specifiche nella confezione.
Attenzione!
-La combinazione tra la visierina a strappo tear-off e la visiera
del casco può ridurre leggermente i valori di trasmittanza ed
aumentare quelli di diffusione della luce. Per questo motivo la
combinazione tra visierina e visiera non è omologata.
-Utilizzare le visierine tear-off esclusivamente per le competizio-
ni in pista. Non utilizzarle nel normale uso stradale.
-Non applicare più di una pellicola tear-off per volta perché si
creerebbero distorsioni ottiche e quindi una minore visibilità.
-Visiere e visierine tear-off rovinate o graffiate non devono esse-
re utilizzate e devono essere sostituite.
2. Racing Comfort - Imbottitura di conforto interna
2.1 Smontaggio guanciali (fig. 4)
2.1.1 Aprire la visiera e slacciare il sottogola.
2.1.2 Afferrare la parte alta sull’imbottitura del guanciale e tirare
verso l’interno per sganciare il primo bottone.
2.1.3 Afferrare l’imbottitura verso la parte alta della mentoniera
tirare verso l’interno per sganciare il secondo bottone.
2.1.4 Scendere verso la parte bassa della mentoniera, afferrare
l’imbottitura e tirare verso l’interno per sganciare il terzo
bottone.
2.1.5 Afferrare l’imbottitura del guanciale verso la nuca tirare
verso l’interno del casco per sganciare il quarto bottone.
2.1.6 Afferrare l’imbottitura del guanciale e tirare verso l’alto per
sfilare la linguetta laterale dalla guarnizione di bordo della
calotta e staccare tutto il guanciale dal casco.
2.1.7 Ripetere l’operazione 2.1.2 sull’altro lato del casco.
2.2 Smontaggio cuffia (solo per alcune versioni - fig. 5)
2.2.1 Afferrare la lunetta posteriore nell’angolo destro e tirare
verso l’alto per sganciare il primo bottone; proseguire poi
tirando la zona centrale l’angolo sinistro della lunetta
posteriore per sganciare il secondo ed il terzo bottone.
2.2.2 Afferrare la cuffia nella zona frontale laterale e tirare verso
l’alto delicatamente per sganciare il primo gancio; prose-
guire poi verso il centro e l’altra estremità frontale per

sganciare il secondo ed il terzo gancio.
2.2.3 Togliere completamente la cuffia dal casco.
Attenzione!
-Estrarre l’imbottitura solo quando è necessario pulirla o lavarla.
-Non usare mai il casco senza aver rimontato correttamente la
sua imbottitura interna di conforto.
- Non modificare in nessun modo le componenti interne del
casco.
- Per eseguire le operazioni sopra esposte non utilizzare mai
attrezzi e utensili.
2.3 Montaggio cuffia (solo per alcune versioni - fig. 5)
2.3.1 Inserire nella cavità del casco la cuffia facendola adagia-
re bene sul fondo in modo simmetrico.
2.3.2 Controllare che tutti i punti di aggancio corrispondano tra
loro e verificato il tutto agganciare prima la zona frontale
e poi la zona posteriore della cuffia.
2.3.3 Assestare bene la cuffia e farla aderire bene alla calotta.
2.4 Montaggio guanciale (fig. 4)
2.4.1 Puntare la linguetta in plastica rigida tra il guanciale e la
calotta senza inserirla completamente.
2.4.2 Controllare che il guanciale sia nella sua posizione cor-
retta in modo che i bottoni automatici si trovino tutti in
corrispondenza delle loro sedi.
2.4.3 Inserire completamente la linguetta rigida fino all’incastro
sotto il bordo base e agganciare i quattro bottoni.
Attenzione!
I bottoni sono agganciati solo quando si sente lo scatto.
2.4.4 Verificare che il cinturino esca bene dall’imbottitura del
guanciale e controllare che il telaietto della zona frontale
sia ben infilato sotto la guarnizione bordo oblò.
2.4.5 Ripetere le operazioni da 2.4.1 a 2.4.4 sull’altro lato del
casco.
Attenzione!
Se il tuo casco è dotato di sistema di ritenzione D-Rings chiudi-
lo come indicato nel cartellino istruzioni D-Rings allegato.

2.6 Pulizia
Imbottitura interna in tessuto:
-Lavare delicatamente a mano ed utilizzare solo sapone neutro
e acqua a 30° C max.
-Risciacquare in acqua fredda ed asciugare a temperatura
ambiente al riparo dal sole.
Attenzione!
L’imbottitura di conforto interna non deve mai essere lavata
in lavatrice.
Interno in polistirolo:
- Pulire utilizzando esclusivamente un panno umido, quindi
lasciare asciugare a temperatura ambiente al riparo dal sole.
Attenzione!
-Il polistirolo interno è un materiale facilmente deformabile ed
ha lo scopo di assorbire gli urti mediante alterazione o parziale
distruzione.
-NON MODIFICARE O ALTERARE IN ALCUN MODO LE COM-
PONENTI INTERNE IN POLISTIROLO.
-NON USARE MAI BENZINA, DILUENTE, BENZOLO, ALTRI
SOLVENTI E/O SOSTANZE CHIMICHE.
3. Sistema di ventilazione
3.1 Ventilazione inferiore (fig. 6)
Regolabile, convoglia l’aria direttamente all’interno del casco e
sulla superficie interna della visiera limitando la formazione di
condensa anche a basse velocità. Per aprire le prese d’aria infe-
riori far scorrere il cursore centrale verso l’alto. Gli sportellini
laterali si apriranno contemporaneamente verso l’esterno convo-
gliando l’aria esterna direttamente sulla superficie interna della
visiera. Per chiudere le prese d’aria anteriori far scorrere il curso-
re centrale verso il basso.
3.2 Ventilazione superiore (fig. 7)
Il sistema di ventilazione superiore permette all’aria di entrare all’in-
terno del casco fornendo un’eccellente climatizzazione interna ed
evita la fastidiosa condizione di raffreddamento localizzato.
Per azionare il sistema di ventilazione agire sui cursori di coman-
do spingendoli in avanti: gli sportelli delle prese d’aria si abbas-
sano permettendo all’aria di entrare.
Per interrompere il flusso d’aria agire sui cursori di comando
spingendoli indietro.

Attenzione!
Per le operazioni di pulizia del meccanismo utilizzare solo acqua,
sapone neutro e asciugare aiutandosi con aria compressa.
Paravento e deflettore paranaso amovibili
Questi accessori permettono di migliorare le prestazioni del
casco in particolari condizioni di utilizzo.
Il paravento (Wind Protector) evita spiacevoli infiltrazioni d’aria
da sotto il mento.
Il deflettore paranaso (Breath Deflector) evita la formazione di
condensa sulla visiera, deviando il flusso d’aria verso il basso
(vedi cartellino di istruzioni allegato per il montaggio e lo smon-
taggio).
Attenzione!
Gli accessori paravento e deflettore paranaso sono facilmente
amovibili.
IMPORTANT! Keep this manual and the attached product
leaflets. They contain important information for getting the
best use from this helmet. Read them carefully before using
your new helmet for the first time.
A - External shell
Constructed in three sizes, lightweight with excellent quality
characteristics, thanks to the highly specialized technologies
applied in the Bag Moulding process, together with the use of
superior hi-tech fibres (carbon, Kevlar®, Kural®, glass).
B - Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: Flat visor with uniform
thickness made of scratch resistant ®.
The external surface of the injection moulded visor made of
®is scratch resistant and has a flat surface (see instruc-
tions provided in this manual).
It also comes with hooks to mount the extra tear-off visors avail-
able as accessories (see attached leaflet).
C - Visor mechanism
The visor mechanism allows the following functions (see instruc-
tions provided in this manual):
- visor pull up/down rotation with intermediate positions;
- tool-free quick release of the visor;
- 4 mm adjustment of the air draught between the visor and win-
dow trim.
D - Visor seal
The seal ensures that the visor pulls down correctly, preventing
infiltration of air and water.
E - Nolan Top Fog Resistant System
It consists of an internal anti-fog visor - standard equipment on

some versions - that can be assembled easily and quickly if
needed (see attached leaflet).
F-Retention system with padded chin strap made of non-
allergenic treated fabric:
- MICROLOCK patented system with micrometric regulation
(see attached leaflet).
- DOUBLE RINGS (D-Rings) (see attached leaflet).
G - Racing Comfort, comfort padding
Inner padding - completely removable and washable on some
versions - made of high quality fabrics with specific character-
istics of comfort, breathability, and durability (see instructions
provided in this manual).
treatment that ensures hygiene and freshness and
prevents the development of unpleasant smells over long peri-
ods (see attached leaflet).
H - Ventilation System
New ventilation system consisting of:
TOP VENTILATION: The two upper air intakes convey part of the
air directly into the helmet for internal air circulation. The remain-
der of incoming air, which is directed to the upper aerator, flows
towards the rear section expelling stale air from the helmet. Air
change is thus assured through the two rear spoilers.
LOWER VENTILATION: the two lower air intakes channel the air
directly into the helmet and onto the inner surface of the visor to
reduce fogging.
L-Removable wind protector and breath deflector
(see attached leaflet).
Indicated specifications may vary.
1. Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: Flat visor with
uniform thickness made of scratch resistant Lexan®
1.1 Pulling up the visor
Rotate the visor upwards using the flap located at the bottom of
the visor.
1.2 Pulling down the visor
Pull the visor down by taking hold of the flap located at the bot-
tom of the visor.
1.3 Disassembly (fig. 1)
1.3.1 Pull the visor all the way up (see section 1.1).
1.3.2 Press and hold the visor release button (A) down and slide
the visor forward until it clicks (Fig.1).
1.3.3 Free the visor hooks (B1 e B2) from their housing.
1.3.4 Repeat the steps above on the other side of the helmet.
Important!
Do not remove the visor pull up/down mechanism from the shell.
If it fails or is damaged, contact an authorized Nolan retail shop.
1.4 Assembly (fig. 2)
1.4.1 Set the visor in open position by placing the visor hooks
(B1 and B2) in line with the housings in the visor mecha-
nism (Fig. 2)
1.4.2 Insert hook B1 in the housing provided and press the visor
against the shell in line with hook B2. This will actuate the
visor release button. (Fig. 2).

1.4.3 Slide the visor until the visor locks into place.
1.4.4 Repeat the steps above on the other side of the helmet.
Important!
Pull the visor up and down several times to make sure that it
works properly.
1.5 Adjusting the visor (fig. 3)
The visor mechanism is equipped with a visor clearance take-up
system that ensures that the visor is pulled down and effectively
against the window trim. This is why the mechanism's support
has an upper and lower reference tooth.
The helmet is delivered with a correctly adjusted system. When
using the helmet, regularly check that the visor adheres perfectly
and is in line with the lip seal of the window trim when it is pulled
down all the way.
If this is not the case, proceed as follows:
1.5.1 Disassemble the visor (see section 1.3) and check in
which position of the upper reference A1 and lower refer-
ence A2 teeth (Fig. 3) the mechanism is located;
1.5.2 Loosen the two screws B1 and B2 (Fig. 4) on the visor
mechanism using a 2.5 mm Allen screw wrench.
1.5.3 Lift the mechanism from its support and move it forward
or backward according to the adjustment to be made.
Then lower the mechansim into its support so that upper
A1 lower A2 adjustment teeth are in the same position.
1.5.4 Tighten both screws B1 and B2.
1.5.5 Repeat steps 1.5.2, 1.5.3 and 1.5.4 on the other side of
the helmet.
1.5.6 Mount the visor (see section 1.4)
1.5.7 Check contact between the visor and the sealing.
Important!
-Pull the visor up and down several times to make sure that it
works properly.
-Do not remove the visor pull up/down mechanism from the shell.
-If they should fail or be damaged, contact an authorized Nolan
retail shop.

1.6 Maintenance and cleaning
USE ONLY NEUTRAL SOAP AND WATER FOR CLEANING AND
COMPRESSED AIR AS A DRYING AID.
Scratch Resistant Racing Visor
The visor of this helmet with a flat external surface comes with
adjustable hooks to mount extra tear-off visors using the same
system used by professional riders.
To mount the extra tear-off visors see the instructions in the box.
Important!
-The combination between tear-off and helmet visors can slight-
ly reduce light transmittance and increase light diffusion. For
this reason use of the two visors together is not approved.
-Tear-off visors use is only recommended for track competi-
tions. Do not use them for normal road use.
-Do not apply more than one tear-off film at a time since optical
distortion will occur causing reduced visibility.
-Damaged or scratched visors and tear-off visors must not be
used and should be replaced.
2. Racing Comfort - Inner comfort padding
2.1 Disassembly of the cheek pads (fig. 4)
2.1.1 Pull up the visor and undo the chin strap.
2.1.2 Hold the top of the cheek padding and pull it inwards to
unhook the first button.
2.1.3 Hold the padding by the top of the chin guard and pull
inwards to unhook the second button.
2.1.4 Hold then the bottom padding of the chin guard and pull it
inwards to unhook the third button.
2.1.5 Hold the cheek padding towards the nape of the neck and
pull inwards to unhook the fourth button.
2.1.6 Hold the cheek padding and pull it upwards to pull out the
side flap from the shell sealing edge and detach the cheek
pad from the helmet.
2.1.7 Repeat step 2.1.2 on the other side of the helmet.
2.2 Disassembly of the liner (some versions only - fig. 5)
2.2.1 Take hold of the back rest by the right hand corner and
pull upwards to unhook the first button. Then proceed by
pulling the centre section on the left corner of the back
rest to unhook the second and third button.
2.2.2 Take hold of the side front section of the liner and gently
pull it upwards to unhook the first hook. Then move
towards the centre and the other front edge to unhook the

second and third hook.
2.2.3 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
Important!
-Remove the padding only when it needs to be cleaned and
washed.
-Never use the helmet before correctly remounting its inner
comfort padding.
-Do not modify the helmet's internal components in any way.
-Never use tools to carry out the operations described above.
2.3 Assembly of the liner (some versions only - fig. 5)
2.3.1 Insert the liner into the shell of the helmet and fit it well
against the base.
2.3.2 Make sure that all couplings match. Hook the front por-
tion, then the rear of the liner.
2.3.3 Carefully adjust the liner until it adheres well to the shell.
2.4 Assembly of the cheek pad (fig. 4)
2.4.1 Put the hard plastic flap between the cheek pad and the
shell without inserting it completely.
2.4.2 Make sure that the cheek pad is in the correct position so
that all the snap buttons are in line with their housings.
2.4.3 Insert the hard flap all the way into the groove under the
base edge and hook the four buttons.
Important!
The buttons are not hooked until a click is heard.
2.4.4 Make sure that the chin strap protrudes from the cheek
padding and make sure that the frame of the front sec-
tion is fitted well under the window trim edge.
2.4.5 Repeat steps 2.4.1 to 2.4.4 on the other side of the hel-
met.
Important!
If your helmet is equipped with the D-Ring retention system, pull
it down as indicated in the attached D-Ring instruction leaflet.

2.6 Cleaning
Inner fabric padding:
-Delicately hand wash and use only neutral soap and water
with a maximum temperature of 30°C.
-Rinse in cold water and dry at room temperature away from
direct sunlight.
Important!
Never machine-wash the inner comfort padding
Inner polystyrene:
-Clean only with a damp cloth then leave it to dry at room tem-
perature away from direct sunlight.
Important!
-The inner polystyrene can easily be deformed. Its function is
to absorb impacts by deformation and partial destruction.
-DO NOT MODIFY IN ANY WAY HELMET'S INTERNAL POLY-
STYRENE COMPONENTS.
-NEVER USE PETROL, THINNERS, BENZOL OR OTHER SOL-
VENTS AND/OR CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES.
3. Ventilation system
3.1 Lower ventilation system (fig. 6)
Adjustable, it channels air directly inside the helmet and onto the
inner surface of the visor reducing the formation of condensation
to a minimum even at low speeds. To open the lower air intakes
move the central slider upwards. The side ports will open out-
wards at the same time channeling external air directly onto the
inner surface of the visor. To close the front air intakes, move the
central slider downwards.
3.2 Top ventilation system (fig. 7)
The top ventilation system allows air into the helmet providing
excellent climate control and preventing local infiltration of cold air.
To activate the ventilation system, move the sliders forwards. The
air intake ports will lower allowing air in.
To stop air flow push the sliders backwards.

Important!
Use only water and neutral soap to clean the mechanism and
compressed air as a drying aid.
Removable wind protector and breath deflector
Under certain conditions of use helmet performance can be
improved by using these accessories.
The Wind Protector prevents unpleasant infiltrations of air under

The Breath Deflector prevents the formation of condensation on
the visor by-passing the air flow downwards (see attached
instruction leaflet for assembly and disassembly).
Important!
The wind protector and breath deflector accessories can be eas-
ily removed.

A - Außenschale
Die in drei Größen hergestellte Außenschale ist von ausgezeich-
neter Qualität und sehr geringem Gewicht durch den Einsatz von
High-Tech-Fasern (Karbon, Kevlar®, Kural®, Glas) und dem
hochentwickelten Pressverfahren „Bag-Moulding“.
B - Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: Zylindrisches Visier mit
gleichmäßiger Wandstärke aus kratzfestem ®
Das aus ® gespritzte Visier ist kratzfest beschichtet und
hat eine zylindrische Form (siehe Beschreibung im Inneren die-
ses Handbuchs), um das Anbringen von Abreißfolien zu ermögli-
chen. Diese als Zubehör erhältlichen Folien werden an den seitli-
chen Knöpfen des Visieres eingehängt (siehe beiliegendes
Spezialinfoblatt).
C - Visiermechanik
Die Visiermechanik hat folgende Funktionen (siehe Beschreibung
im Inneren dieses Handbuchs):
-Drehung zum Öffnen und Schließen des Visiers mit
Zwischenpositionen;
-Schnellentriegelung des Visiers ohne Werkzeuge;
-Einstellung des Abstandes zwischen Visier und
Dichtungsrahmen.
D - Visierdichtung
Die Dichtung liegt passgenau am Visier an und schützt vor
Wassereintritt und Zugluft.
E - Nolan Top Fog Resistant System
Dieses System besteht aus einem beschlaghemmenden

Innenvisier – bei einigen Modellen serienmäßig mitgeliefert - und
den entsprechenden Befestigungszapfen, welche im Bedarfsfall
ein einfaches und schnelles Anbringen ermöglichen (siehe beilie-
gendes Spezialinfoblatt).
F-Rückhaltesystem mit gepolstertem Kinnriemen aus
-behandeltem antiallergischem Stoff:
-patentierter Kinnriemenverschluss MICROLOCK mit
Feinregulierung (siehe beiliegendes Spezialinfoblatt).
-DOPPELRINGE (D-Ringe) (siehe beiliegendes Infoblatt).
G - Racing Comfort, Komfortpolsterung
Innenpolsterung - bei manchen Modellen komplett herausnehm-
bar und waschbar - hergestellt aus hochwertigen Stoffen, die
sich vor allem durch Komfort, Atmungsfähigkeit und Haltbarkeit
auszeichnen (siehe Beschreibung im Inneren dieses Handbuchs).
Die -Behandlung sorgt für Hygiene und beugt auf lange
Zeit der Bildung von unangenehmen Gerüchen vor (siehe beiliegen-
des Spezialinfoblatt).
H - Belüftungs-System
-BELÜFTUNG IM OBEREN BEREICH: Die beiden
Einlassöffnungen im oberen Bereich leiten einen Teil der Luft
direkt ins Innere des Helms. Die restliche, in den oberen Lüfter
geleitete Luft strömt nach hinten, entzieht dem Helminneren ver-
brauchte Luft und tritt an den beiden hinteren Spoilern wieder aus.
- BELÜFTUNG IM UNTEREN BEREICH: Die beiden
Einlassöffnungen im unteren Bereich leiten die Luft ins Innere
des Helms und zur Innenseite des Visiers, um die
Beschlagneigung zu verringern.
L-Windabweiser und abnehmbare Atemmaske
(siehe beigelegtes Spezialinfoblatt).
Die genannten Spezifikationen können variieren

1.1 Öffnen
Das Visier an der Griffleiste fassen und nach oben schwenken.
1.2 Schließen
Das Visier an der Griffleiste fassen und nach unten schwenken.
1.3 Entfernen (abb. 1)
1.3.1 Visier vollständig öffnen.
1.3.2 Die Entriegelungstaste des Visiers (A) gedrückt halten und
das Visier bis zum Auslösen nach vorne schieben (Abb.1).
1.3.3 Die Visierhaken (B1 und B2) aus ihrer Vertiefung lösen.
1.3.4 Den beschriebenen Vorgang auf der anderen Seite des
Helms wiederholen.
WICHTIG!
Die Öffnungs- und Schließmechanismen des Visiers dürfen nicht
von der Schale entfernt werden. Falls sie Fehlfunktionen oder
Beschädigungen aufweisen, wenden Sie sich an einen Nolan-
Händler.
1.4 Anbringen (abb. 2)
1.4.1 Das Visier in geöffneter Stellung halten und die
Visierhaken (B1 und B2) an den in der Visiermechanik vor-
gesehenen Vertiefungen positionieren (Abb. 2).
1.4.2 Haken B1 in die vorgesehene Vertiefung einführen, das
Visier an Haken B2 gegen die Schale drücken, um die
Entriegelungstaste des Visiers auszulösen. (Abb. 2).
1.4.3 Das Visier so weit nach hinten schieben, bis das
Verschlusssystem einrastet.

1.4.4 Die beschriebenen Schritte auf der anderen Helmseite
wiederholen.
Achtung!
Überprüfen Sie durch mehrmaliges Öffnen und Schließen des
Visiers, ob die Mechanik korrekt funktioniert.
1.5 Einstellen des Visiers (abb. 3)
Die Visiermechanik ist mit einer Justiervorrichtung, um auch
nach längerem Gebrauch eine gute Abdichtung des Visieres zu
gewährleisten. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Halterung der Mechanik
oben und unten mit einer Verzahnung ausgestattet.
Ab Werk befindet sich die Mechanik in der Grundeinstellung.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor Gebrauch des Helms regelmäßig, dass
das Visier in geschlossenem Zustand ringsum und gleichmäßig
auf der elastischen Dichtlippe des Dichtungsrahmens anliegt.
Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, führen Sie folgende Maßnahmen
durch:
1.5.1 Das Visier abnehmen (siehe Punkt 1.3) und feststellen, in
welcher Position der Verzahnung A1 oben oder A2 unten
(Abb. 3) sich die Mechanik befindet;
1.5.2 Die beiden Schrauben B1 und B2 (Abb. 4) der
Visiermechanik mit einem 2,5mm-Inbusschlüssels lösen.
1.5.3 Die Mechanik aus der Halterung nehmen und sie nach
Bedarf weiter vorne oder hinten einsetzen; anschließend
die Mechanik so auf die Halterung setzen, dass sich die
Regulierungshäkchen A1 oben und A2 unten A2 in der
gleichen Position befinden.
1.5.4 Die beiden Schrauben B1 und B2 anziehen.
1.5.5 Die Schritte 1.5.2, 1.5.3 und 1.5.4 auf der anderen
Helmseite wiederholen.
1.5.6 Das Visier anbringen (siehe Punkt 1.4)
1.5.7 Überprüfen, ob Visier und Dichtung anliegen.
Achtung!
-Überprüfen Sie durch mehrmaliges Öffnen und Schließen des
Visiers, ob die Mechanik korrekt funktioniert.
-Die Öffnungs- und Schließmechanik des Visiers nicht von der
Schale ablösen. Falls sie Fehlfunktionen oder Beschädigungen
aufweist, wenden Sie sich an einen Nolan-Händler.

1.6 Wartung und Reinigung
BENUTZEN SIE ZUR REINIGUNG NUR WASSER UND NEUTRA-
LE SEIFE UND TROCKNEN SIE DEN HELM, FALLS ERFORDER-
LICH, MIT DRUCKLUFT.
Scratch Resistant Racing Visor
Das zylindrische Visier dieses Helms ist mit Exzenterzapfen aus-
gestattet, und kann dadurch, wie bei professionellen Rennfahrern
üblich, mit Abreißfolien ausgestattet werden.
Für die Anbringung zusätzlicher Abreißfolien siehe spezielle
Informationen in der Verpackung.
Achtung!
-Die Kombination von Tear-off-Abreißfolien und Helmvisier kann
die Lichtdurchlässigkeit leicht vermindern und die
Lichtsstreuung erhöhen. Aus diesem Grund entspricht die
Kombination von Abreißfolie und Helmvisier nicht der ECE-
Prüfung diese Helmes.
-Abreißfolien sollten ausschließlich auf Rennstrecken benutzt
werden und nicht auf öffentlichen Straßen.
-Niemals mehr als eine Abreißfolie anbringen, da dies zu opti-
schen Irritationen führen kann.
-Beschädigte oder verkratzte Visiere und Abreißfolien dürfen
nicht mehr benutzt werden und müssen ausgetauscht werden.
2. Racing Comfort - Komfortpolsterung
2.1 Herausnehmen der Wangenpolster (abb. 4)
2.1.1 Das Visier öffnen und den Kinnriemen öffnen.
2.1.2 Den oberen Teil des Polsters so weit nach innen ziehen,
bis sich der erste Knopf löst.
2.1.3 Das Polster am oberen Bereich des Kinnteils nehmen und
nach innen ziehen bis sich der zweite Knopf löst.
2.1.4 Das Polster im unteren Bereich des Kinnteils nehmen und
nach innen ziehen bis sich der dritte Knopf löst.
2.1.5 Das Polster im Nackenbereich ins Helminnere ziehen, um
den vierten Knopf zu lösen.
2.1.6 Das Polster nach oben ziehen, die Seitenlasche aus dem
Kantenschutz des Helmes herausziehen und das komplet-
te Wangenpolster aus dem Helm herausnehmen.
2.1.7 Den Schritt 2.1.2 auf der anderen Helmseite wiederholen.
2.2 Polsterung herausnehmen (nur bei bestimmten
Ausführungen möglich - abb. 5)
2.2.1 Die rechte Ecke des Nackenpolsters fassen und nach
oben ziehen, bis sich der erste Knopf löst; anschließend
die linke Ecke fassen und Richtung Mitte ziehen, bis sich
der zweite und dritte Knopf löst.
2.2.2 Die Polsterung seitlich am Stirnbereich fassen und behut-
sam nach oben ziehen, bis sich der erste Haken löst;
anschließend das gleiche an der Mitte und anderen Seite
des Stirnbereichs wiederholen, um den zweiten und drit-
ten Haken zu lösen.
2.2.3 Die gesamte Polsterung aus dem Helm herausnehmen.

Achtung!
-Die Polsterung nur zum Reinigen oder Waschen herausneh-
men.
-Den Helm niemals benutzen, ohne die Komfortpolsterung wie-
der vollständig eingebaut zu haben.
-Die Innenteile des Helms in keiner Weise verändern.
-Für die oben genannten Arbeitsschritte niemals Werkzeuge
benutzen.
2.3 Polsterung einbauen (nicht bei allen Modellen - abb. 5)
2.3.1 Die Polsterung in den Helm legen und richtig positionie-
ren.
2.3.2 Kontrollieren, dass alle Befestigungspunkte aufeinander
abgestimmt sind und anschließend zunächst den
Stirnbereich und dann den hinteren Teil der Polsterung
befestigen.
2.3.3 Die Polsterung anpassen und darauf achten, dass sie gut
an der Innenschale anliegt.
2.4 Wangenpolster einbauen (abb. 4)
2.4.1 Die Kunststofflasche zwischen Wangenpolster und
Schale aufsetzen, ohne sie ganz einzulegen.
2.4.2 Kontrollieren, ob das Wangenpolster richtig liegt, d.h. die
Druckknöpfe sollten sich an ihren Befestigungsorten
befinden.
2.4.3 Die Kunststofflasche nun ganz unter den Kantenschutz
einstecken und die vier Knöpfe festmachen.
Achtung!
Die Knöpfe sind nur dann befestigt, wenn ein Einschnappen
zu hören ist.
2.4.4 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Kinnriemen weit genug
aus dem Wangenpolster herausgezogen ist und kontrol-
lieren Sie, ob der vordere Rand fest unter dem
Visierrahmen angebracht ist.
2.4.5 Die Schritte 2.4.1 bis 2.4.4 auf der anderen Helmseite
wiederholen.
Achtung!
Falls Ihr Helm mit dem Kinnriemenverschluss Doppel-D-Ringe
ausgestattet ist, schließen Sie ihn so, wie es im beigelegten
Infoblatt über die Doppel-D-Ringe beschrieben ist.

2.6 Reinigung
Innere Stoffpolsterung:
- Vorsichtig mit der Hand waschen, nur neutrale Seife benutzen,
Wassertemperatur nicht höher als 30° C.
- In kaltem Wasser ausspülen und bei Zimmertemperatur trock-
nen lassen, vor Sonneneinstrahlung schützen.
Achtung!
Die Komfortpolsterung darf keinesfalls in der
Waschmaschine gewaschen werden.
Innenschale aus EPS:
-Nur mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, anschließend bei
Zimmertemperatur trocknen lassen, vor Sonneneinstrahlung
schützen.
Achtung!
-Die EPS-Innenschale besteht aus einem leicht verformbaren
Material, um Stöße durch Deformation oder teilweise
Zerstörung dämpfen zu können.
-DIE EPS-INNENSCHALE DARF AUF KEINEN FALL
VERÄNDERT ODER BEARBEITET WERDEN.
-KEINESFALLS BENZIN, VERDÜNNUNGSMITTEL, BENZOL
UND ANDERE LÖSUNGSMITTEL UND/ODER CHEMIKALIEN
VERWENDEN.
3. Belüftungs-System
3.1 Belüftung im unteren Bereich (abb. 6)
Sie ist regulierbar und leitet die Luft ins Innere des Helms und
auf die Visierinnenseite, wodurch die Bildung von
Kondenswasser auch bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten vermin-
dert wird. Um die Einlassöffnungen im unteren Bereich zu öff-
nen, den mittleren Schieber nach oben bewegen. Gleichzeitig
öffnen sich auch die Seitenklappen nach außen und leiten Luft
von dort zur Innenseite des Visiers. Zum Schließen der vorderen
Einlassöffnungen den mittleren Schieber nach unten bewegen.
3.2 Belüftung im oberen Bereich (abb. 7)
Das Belüftungssystem im oberen Bereich lässt Luft ins Innere des
Helms eintreten, und bewirkt ein guten Luftaustausch ohne punktu-
elle Auskühlüng.
Zur Aktivierung des Belüftungssystems die Schieber nach vorn
bewegen: Die Klappen der Einlassöffnungen gehen dabei nach
unten und lassen Luft eintreten. Um den Lufteinlass zu unterbin-
den, die Schieber wieder in die vorherige Position bringen.

Achtung!
Zur Reinigung der Mechanik ausschließlich Wasser und neutrale
Seife benutzen und, falls erforderlich, mit Druckluft trocknen.
Windabweiser und abnehmbare Atemmaske
Dieses Zubehör verbessert die Eigenschaften des Helms unter
bestimmten Bedingungen.
Der Windabweiser (Wind Protector) verringert Zugluft im unteren
Gesichtbereich.
Die Atemmaske (Breath Deflector) verringert die Bildung von
Kondenswasser auf dem Visier indem sie den Luftstrom nach
unten ableitet (siehe beiliegendes Infoblatt über Anbringung und
Entfernung).
Achtung!
Die beiden Zubehörteile Wind- und Atemmaske sind leicht
abnehmbar.

A - Calotte externe
La calotte externe a été conçue et développée en trois tailles,
avec des caractéristiques de qualité et de légèreté supérieures,
grâce à l'utilisation de fibres hi-tech (carbone, Kevlar®, Kural®,
verre) et à la spécialisation accrue des technologies appliquées à
la procédure d'impression Bag Moulding.
B - Scratch Resistant Racing Visor : Écran plan à épaisseur
constante en ®anti-rayures.
L’écran, injecté en ®, résiste aux rayures et présente une
surface extérieure plane (V. le mode d'emploi à l'intérieur de ce
manuel).
Il est en outre équipé d’accroches pour l'application de petits
écrans tear-off supplémentaires, disponibles en accessoires (V.
la fiche spécifique en annexe).
C - Mécanisme de l’écran
Le mécanisme de l’écran permet les fonctions suivantes (V.
mode d'emploi à l'intérieur de ce manuel).
-rotation d'ouverture et de fermeture de l’écran avec des posi-
tions intermédiaires ;
-décrochage rapide de l’écran sans l'aide d'outils ;
-réglage (4 mm) de l’ajustement entre l’écran et le joint d'écran.
D - Joint d’écran
Le joint assure une fermeture parfaite de l’écran, en évitant des
infiltrations d'air et d'eau.
E - Nolan Top Fog Resistant System
Ce système se compose d'un petit écran anti-buée (en dotation
