intheverticalposition,
pullthecovertowards
youtoremovethecover.
Repeatforalllegsand
discardcovers.

steps 4 - 4b before
commencing.
REMOVE PIN AND TOGGLE
Insertametalpickintocavity
onundersideoftheleganduse
picktopushthepinacross.
Keepngerheldontoggle.

CAUTION- Toggle is under
spring tension; as pin is
removed it will want to move.
Withngerstillheldon
toggle,turnlegover.Pull
pinoutfromothersideof
housingusinglongnose
pliers.Storepinasidefor
useinstep6.

Usinganewtogglefromthereplacementkit,positionnew
togglebylocatingtheknobintothetopofthespringinside
leg.Pushtoggledownintospringandholdrmlywithnger.
INSERT NEW TOGGLE
NOTE- new toggle can be identified
by scalloped feature as shown.
Withtogglehelddown,insertpinthroughholeinsideofspringhousing.Keep
pushinginuntilthepinpassesthroughtheholeinthetoggleandintotheother
sideoftheleg.Oncepinisfullyinsertedandsecure,releasengerofftoggle.
RE-INSERT PIN
Re-insertthelegbypushingtheleg
assemblyintothealuminiumbar.
RE-INSERT LEG INTO BAR
Re-attachclamptoundersideofleg,placenutintohexagonalrecesson
clampplate.Holdingthesetwoitemsinplace,feedboltthroughfromtop
sideofleg.Usea5mmhexwrenchtofastentheseitemstogether.

MAINTENANCE
• Checkroofrackissecurelyattachedwheneveryouretittothevehicle.Iftheunitfeelsloose,refer
tothettinginstructionsandreadjust.
• Regularlycheckallfasteners.Thisincludesallattachedaccessoriesandroofracks.
• Ifcontaminatedwithoil,fueloracidremovewithhotsoapywater.
CAUTION
• Donotexceedthevehiclemanufacturer’sroofloadrating.Totalloadequalsweightofroofracks+
accessories+cargo/equipment.
• Ensurethatallloadsaredistributedevenlyacrosstheroofracksandaresecured.
• Aloadedroofracksystemcanaltertheperformanceofyourvehicle.Beespeciallyawareofthe
effectsofsidewinds,changingofdirection,andbrakingperformance.Avoidrapidaccelerationand
deceleration.DriveCarefully.
• Makesureallloadsaresecurelyfastenedwithnon-elasticstraps.Checkregularlyduringlonger
journeys.
• Neverdriveintoacarwashwiththeroofracksystemtted.
Ensurethelocksonthelegsareinthelocked
position(horizontal).Usingnewcoversfrom
thereplacementkit,slidecoverintothe
leg,youwillheara‘click’whenthecoveris
securelylocked.Repeatforalllegs.
