Overview
Feather the Owl Diffuser functions as a humidifier, atomizer, and aroma
diffuser in one simple-to-use product. Our adorable forest friend is ready to
help transform bedrooms, playrooms, and nurseries into energizing creative
spaces and dreamy slumberlands. More than the world’s cutest essential oil
diffuser, Feather is also custom designed with features you’ll love. Feather
offers up to 5 hours of continuous diffusion and 10 hours of intermittent
diffusion with automatic shutoff. It also has ambient light control, a speaker
with preprogrammed white noise, and touch-sensitive controls. Our owl pal
is ready to become your child’s favorite bedtime buddy!
The ultrasonic technology used in the Feather the Owl Diffuser allows your
mixture of Young Living essential oils and water to be broken into millions
of microparticles that are dispersed into the air, releasing the beneficial
constituents. Whether you choose a burst of fresh citrusy aroma to liven
up the afternoon or something calmer to help bedtime become a breeze,
Feather the Owl will make diffusing so much fun!

Operating Instructions
1. Remove Feather’s lid.
2. Add water to the fill line marker. For proper function, do not add water
beyond the fill line.
3. Add 5-8 drops of Young Living essential oil.
4. Replace the lid.
5. Plug the AC jack into the base of the unit and the adapter into a
power outlet.
6. Press the touch-sensitive middle toe on the left side (facing the
diffuser) to start diffusing.
7. Check to see that the unit is producing mist and that the LED light
is on.

Functionality
Diffusion
Feather the Owl Diffuser has three modes: high, low, and intermittent.
1. The power is activated via a touch-sensitive contact found on the left
middle toe.
• High-output mode: Touch the left middle toe one time to turn on
high-output mode. The default white light will turn on. The maximum
continuous run time is approximately 5-6 hours.* The diffuser will
automatically shut off when the water reservoir is empty.
• Low-output mode: Touch the left middle toe two times for low-output
mode. The maximum run time is approximately 8 hours.*
• Intermittent-output mode: Touch the left middle toe three times for
intermittent-output mode. The maximum run time is approximately 10
hours (one minute on/one minute off).*
*Run time may vary based on essential oil type and number of drops used.
Note: The light will remain on even after diffuser function automatically shuts off. Press the
left middle toe (diffuser on/off) again to turn off the light.
Lights
2. The light operation is activated via a touch-sensitive contact found on the
right middle toe.
To change the light setting while the diffuser is running in default mode
(white light):

• Touch the right middle toe one time for dim white light.
• Touch the right middle toe two times to begin cycling through seven
color options on a five-second delay, starting with red.
• Continue touching the right middle toe to manually select individual
color options: red, yellow, yellow-green, green, light blue, blue, lavender.
The light will turn off if you cycle through all the colors.
• Turn off the light at any point by pressing and holding the right middle
toe for three seconds.
To run the light independently from the diffuser night-light mode, press the
right middle toe. There is no need to have water in the reservoir.
Sound
Sound selection button/ volume button
Sound operation is activated and operated by pressing the buttons on the
back of the diffuser.
White Noise/Sound
To operate the sound features on the diffuser:
• Press the button to turn on the sound mode. The first white noise
option will play.
• Continue pressing the button to manually select individual white
noise/music options.
• To turn off the sound mode, press and hold the button for
three seconds.
Note: The sound will turn on at default low volume.

Volume
The volume is controlled by pressing the button.
To change the volume on the diffuser:
• Press the button to incrementally increase the volume. The loudest
option is on the fifth press.
• Turn off the volume by pressing the button six times.
• Reset the volume by pressing the button again. The volume will
return to its lowest point on the currently selected white noise option.
• To turn off the sound mode, press and hold the button for
three seconds.
Safety and Care Instructions
Please read and follow these safety guidelines closely to ensure safe
operation of the diffuser.
• Use room-temperature tap, spring, or distilled water.
• Never wrap the adapter with cloth, paper, or other items. Such actions
may result in damage to the diffuser or fire.
• Never touch the adapter with wet hands; electric shock or injury
may occur.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the diffuser; this will void
the warranty.
• Never immerse the diffuser in water.
• Unplug the adapter when refilling, cleaning, or moving the diffuser.
• Keep the diffuser out of reach of small children.
• Do not remove or place objects in the water reservoir during operation.
• Do not place your fingers in the water during operation; this may result
in injury.

• Do not place acidic or alkaline chemicals in the reservoir.
• Use only the included power adapter provided in the packaging or by
Young Living.
• Do not shake the diffuser.
• Do not use metal objects to clean the ultrasonic plate; use only a cotton
swab or cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol or a neutral detergent.
• Never use the product for purposes other than those listed in
this manual.
• Clean the unit before switching to different essential oils.
• Use only 100 percent pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. Artificial,
synthetic, or impure oils and fragrances can cause harm to the unit.
• Do not exceed the max water fill line marker.
• When unplugging the power adapter, pull from the adapter plug instead
of pulling the wire.
• Avoid placing the product under direct sunlight, close to a refrigerator
or fan, or in a hot environment.
• If the unit will not be used for an extended period or needs to be
relocated, unplug the power adapter, empty the water reservoir, and
wipe the unit clean before storage.
• Unplug the diffuser immediately and discontinue use if smoke or a
burning smell occurs.
• Any damage caused by the user does not qualify for replacement by
Young Living.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Always turn off and unplug the diffuser prior to cleaning. To ensure proper
performance, clean the ultrasonic plate and lid after each use. If essential oil
begins to build up on the ultrasonic plate, gently wipe it off using a cotton
swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. If essential oil begins to build up on the
lid, gently wipe it clean using only mild soap and water. Never use corrosive
detergents to clean the ultrasonic plate or damage will occur. Periodically
check under the diffuser to keep the fan intake free of debris. Debris can be
removed by blowing on the fan intake opening or wiping with a clean, dry
cloth. Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives to clean the plastic
housing. When not in use, clean the diffuser and store dry.
Troubleshooting
Issue: When switched on, the diffuser does not operate.
Potential causes: power connection issue, water above water fill
line marker
• Check that the adapter is securely plugged into the wall socket and the
bottom of the diffuser.
• Confirm that there is water in the reservoir and that it does not go above
the fill line marker. If there is too much water, unplug the unit and adjust
the water level, then restart. The light should come on, and the diffuser
should mist.
Issue: There is no mist or less mist than usual.
Potential causes: water above fill line, oil buildup on ultrasonic plate,
ultrasonic plate has stopped working, fan vents or mist spouts are
obstructed, fan is not working

Unplug the diffuser before performing the following procedures:
• Check the water level. If water is above the fill line, carefully pour out
excess water. This is best done by pouring from the opposite side of the
base ventilation hole.
• Verify that when the lid is in place, the mist spout hole is clear and free
from any debris.
• Check for essential oil buildup on the ultrasonic plate. If oil buildup is
present, follow the cleaning instructions. The ultrasonic plate must be
free of residual oil buildup for the diffuser to operate properly.
• Check that the fan intake under the diffuser is free of any obstruction or
debris that may restrict air flow. Once the diffuser is on, you should hear
the fan.
• Refill the water reservoir to the water fill line marker and restart. If
necessary, remove the lid while the diffuser is on to verify that the water
is bubbling. If the water is bubbling, the ultrasonic plate is working. If the
water is not bubbling, the ultrasonic plate may be damaged.
Issue: The light does not work.
Potential cause: power connection
• While facing the diffuser, touch the left middle toe (on/off button) to
verify that the diffuser turns on and that the light is functioning. While
the unit is on, light colors should change while touching the right middle
toe. If the light does not work, call Member Services for
further instructions.
Issue: When switched on, the light flashes once, then turns off.
Potential cause: no water in diffuser
• The unit is not registering water in the diffuser. Check that there is water
in the reservoir and that it is not above the water fill line marker. If there
is too much water, unplug the diffuser and adjust the water to the fill line
and restart.

Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO), Lehi, UT 84043, subject to the
exclusions contained below, warrants its diffuser to be free from defects
in materials and workmanship under normal consumer usage for a period
of 12 calendar months from the date of original purchase.
This warranty does not cover:
• Defects or damage resulting from use of the product in other than its
normal and customary manner
• Defects or damage from misuse, accident, or neglect
• Defects or damage from use of natural oils other than those supplied or
sold by Young Living Essential Oils or an authorized distributor
• Defects or damage from use of materials other than essential oils
• Defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance,
installation, adjustment, or any alteration or modification of any kind

• Breakage or damage caused by use of other than the specified voltage
• Products disassembled or repaired by anyone other than a Young Living

the warranty will be void.)
• Products with labels removed or illegible serial numbers
• Marring such as scratches on any plastic surfaces and externally exposed
parts resulting from normal use
• Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
• Damage resulting from the use of metal tools to clean the unit
This limited warranty is the buyer’s exclusive remedy, applies to new diffusers
purchased from Young Living Essential Oils, and is nontransferable. Please
retain your original purchase receipt. In the event of a warranty claim or
return for repair, a copy of the purchase receipt should accompany the
diffuser when shipped to YLEO. To make a warranty claim or to purchase
spare parts, please contact the Young Living Member Services department
at 1.800.371.3515 (6 a.m.-8 p.m., MT, M-F and 7 a.m.-5 p.m., MT, Saturday). If
it is determined by Member Services that the diffuser is to be shipped back
to YLEO, the buyer will need to send the product back in its original box (if
available) with the power adapter, a copy of the original purchase receipt,

Instrucciones de Operación
1. Retire la tapa de Feather.
2. Agregue agua hasta la línea de llenado. Para un funcionamiento
