Overview
Young Living’s Lustre and Lucia Diffusers feature hand-blown glass covers
that set an exotic and modern tone in any space. Each diffuser functions as a
humidifier, atomizer, and aroma diffuser in one simple-to-use product. They
also help reduce your home’s toxin footprint by replacing harmful household
fragrances and chemicals with effective, naturally derived essential oils.
Using ultrasonic frequency technology, the Lustre and Lucia Diffusers
generate waves at 1.7 million per second, breaking down essential oils
and water into millions of microparticles, dispersing them into the air and
releasing the constituents found in the oils for you to enjoy.

Operating Instructions
1. Remove the outer glass cover by holding the base securely and gently
lifting the cover. Remove the inner lid of the diffuser.
2. Make sure that the reservoir is empty of water.
3. Insert the power adapter plug securely into the jack found at the
bottom of the Lustre Diffuser or on the side of the Lucia Diffuser.
4. Set the diffuser on a hard, flat surface.
5. Add water to the reservoir until the level reaches but does not exceed
the water fill line.
6. Add 8–10 drops of essential oil.
7. Place the inner lid back onto the diffuser. Make sure to align the lid
to the reservoir. The lid should sit flush on the reservoir on all sides;
otherwise leaking will occur.
8. Replace the outer glass cover so that it fits securely over the rubber
alignment gasket and sits flush on the base.
9. Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
10. Press the On/Off button to switch the diffuser on.
11. The diffuser will produce mist, and the LED light will turn on.

Functionality
Diffusion settings
• Press the On/Off button once to turn on the diffuser and begin
continuous mist operation. Continuous operation is approximately 6
hours for the Lustre and 3 hours for the Lucia, with water filled to the
max fill line. Continuous mode is indicated by a solid light.
• For intermittent mode, press the On/Off button a second time to
activate it. The diffuser will run for 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off for
up to 12 hours for the Lustre and up to 6 hours for the Lucia. Intermittent
mode is indicated by a slow flashing light.
• For 60, 90, or 120 minutes of continuous operation, press the On/Off
button a third time. Timer mode is indicated by a solid light over the
selected time.
• To turn off the diffuser while in any mode, press and hold the On/Off
button for 2 seconds. All lights will turn off.
Note: The diffuser and lights will turn off automatically when the reservoir
is empty.

Light settings
While the diffuser is running in default mode, the light will cycle through the
colors at 5-second intervals.
• Press the light button once for each color until the static individual color
option (off-white, green, blue, red, yellow, lavender, or white) appears.
• To run the light without diffusion, press the light button once while the
diffuser is off to start color-cycle mode.
• You can turn off the light at any time by pressing and holding the
light button for 2 seconds.
Please read and follow these safety guidelines closely to ensure safe
operation of the diffuser.
• Unplug the diffuser immediately and discontinue use in the event of
smoke or a burning smell.
• Use room-temperature tap, spring, or mineral water.
• Never wrap the adapter with cloth, paper, etc. Such actions may result in
fire or damage to the diffuser.
• Never touch the adapter with wet hands; electric shock or injury
may occur.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the diffuser; this will void
the warranty.
• Never immerse the diffuser in water.
• Unplug the adapter when refilling, cleaning, or moving the diffuser.
• Keep the diffuser out of reach of children.

• Do not remove or place objects in the water reservoir during operation.
• Do not place your fingers in the water during operation; this may result
in injury.
• Do not place acidic or alkaline chemicals in the reservoir.
• Use only the included power adapter provided in the packaging or by
Young Living.
• Do not shake the diffuser.
• Any damage caused by the user does not qualify such user for
replacement of any or all parts by Young Living.
• Do not use metal objects to clean the ultrasonic plate; use only a cotton
swab or cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol or a neutral detergent.
• Never use the diffuser for purposes other than those listed in
this manual.
• If the diffuser will not be used for an extended period or needs to be
relocated, unplug the power adapter, empty the water reservoir, and
wipe the water reservoir interior clean before storing or moving.
• Clean the diffuser before switching essential oils.
• Use only 100 percent pure, natural essential oils. Artificial, synthetic, or
impure oils and fragrances can damage the diffuser.
• The water level should not exceed the water fill line.
• When unplugging the power adapter, pull from the adapter plug instead
of pulling the wire.
• Avoid placing the diffuser in direct sunlight, close to a refrigerator or fan,
or in a hot environment.

Always turn off and unplug the diffuser prior to cleaning. To ensure proper
performance, clean the ultrasonic plate and lid after each use. If essential oil
begins to build up on the ultrasonic plate, gently wipe it off using a cotton
swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. If essential oil begins to build up on the
lid, gently wipe it off using mild soap and water only. Never use a corrosive
detergent to clean the ultrasonic plate or damage will occur. Periodically
check under the diffuser to keep the fan intake free of debris. Debris can be
removed by blowing on the fan intake opening or wiping with a clean, dry
cloth. Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives to clean the plastic
housing. When not in use, clean the diffuser and store dry.

Troubleshooting
When switched on, the diffuser does not mist or there is less mist than
usual. (Potential issues: power connection, water above fill line, oil buildup
on ultrasonic plate, ultrasonic plate not working, fan vents obstructed, fan
not working)
• Check that the adapter is securely plugged into the wall socket and into
the diffuser.
• Check that the inner lid is positioned correctly on the water reservoir.
• Ensure that the mist spout is clear of any obstruction.
• Check the water level. If the water is above the water fill line, unplug the
diffuser and carefully pour out the excess water from the opposite side
of the reservoir ventilation hole.
• Check for essential oil buildup on the ultrasonic plate. If oil buildup is
present, follow the cleaning instructions. The ultrasonic plate must be
free of residual oil buildup for the diffuser to operate properly.
• Check that the fan intake under the diffuser is free of any obstruction or
debris that may restrict air flow. Refill the water reservoir to the fill line
and restart. If necessary, before you install the outer cover, remove the
inner lid while the diffuser is on and verify if the water is bubbling. If the
water is bubbling, the ultrasonic plate is working.
The light does not work. (Potential issue: power connection)
• Press the light button to verify that the light is functioning. If the light
does not work, call Member Services for further instructions.

Specifications
Water is leaking from the diffuser. (Potential issues: inner lid is not properly
seated, environmental conditions)
• Verify that the inner lid is locked in place.
• If the external air temperature is very low or there is a high level of
humidity in the air, the diffuser mist may condense into water droplets.
• Inspect the reservoir to ensure that there is no structural damage.
• Inspect the ultrasonic plate to ensure that it is intact.
When switched on, the light blinks once then shuts off. (Potential issue: no
water in diffuser)
• The diffuser is not registering any water. Check that there is water in
the reservoir.

Young Living Diffuser Warranty
Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO), 1538 West Sandalwood Drive, Lehi, Utah
84043, subject to the exclusions contained below, warrants its diffuser to
be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer
usage for a period of 12 calendar months from the date of original purchase.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
1. Defects or damage resulting from use of the product in other than its
normal and customary manner
2. Defects or damage from misuse, accident, or neglect
3. Defects or damage from use of natural oils other than those supplied or
sold by YLEO or an authorized distributor
4. Defects or damage from use of materials other than essential oils
5. Defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance,
installation, adjustment, or any alteration or modification of any kind
6. Breakage or damage caused by use of other than the specified voltage
7. Products disassembled or repaired by anyone other than a YLEO-
authorized agent so as to adversely affect performance or prevent
adequate inspection, verification, and testing to verify any warranty claim
(If there are any signs that the diffuser motor and fan area has been
opened, the warranty will be void.)
8. Products with labels removed or illegible serial numbers
9. Marring such as scratches on any plastic surfaces and externally exposed
parts resulting from normal use
10. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
11. Damage resulting from the use of metal tools to clean the diffuser

This limited warranty is the buyer’s exclusive remedy, applies to new diffusers
purchased from YLEO, and is non-transferable. Please retain your original
purchase receipt. In the event of a warranty claim or return for repair, a
copy of the purchase receipt should accompany the diffuser when shipped
to YLEO.
To make a warranty claim or to purchase spare parts, please contact Young
Living Member Services at 1.800.371.3515 (6 a.m.–8 p.m., MT, Monday–Friday
and 7 a.m.–5 p.m., MT, Saturday). If it is determined by Member Services
that the diffuser is to be shipped back to YLEO, the buyer will need to send
the product back in its original box (if available) with the power adapter, a
copy of the original purchase receipt, and the YLEO Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA#) displayed clearly on the receipt, which will be
provided by Member Services and will look like this:

Manuel d’utilisation
1. Retirez le couvercle en verre extérieur en maintenant solidement la
base et en soulevant doucement le couvercle. Retirez le couvercle
intérieur du diffuseur.
2. Vérifiez que le réservoir ne contient pas d’eau.
3. Insérez de façon sécuritaire la prise de l’adaptateur dans la prise jack
située au bas du diffuseur Lustre ou sur le côté du diffuseur Lucia.
4. Posez le diffuseur sur une surface rigide et plane.
5. Ajoutez de l’eau dans le réservoir jusqu’à ce que le niveau atteigne,
mais ne dépasse pas, la ligne de remplissage maximale.
6. Ajoutez 8 à 10 gouttes d’huile essentielle.
7. Replacez le couvercle intérieur sur le diffuseur. Assurez-vous d’aligner
le couvercle au réservoir. Le couvercle doit reposer sur tout le pourtour
sinon il y aura des fuites.
8. Replacez le couvercle en verre extérieur afin qu’il s’emboite de façon
sécuritaire sur le joint d’alignement en caoutchouc et qu’il repose
directement sur la base.
9. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur sur une prise courant.
10. Appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pour allumer le diffuseur.
11. Le diffuseur produira de la brume et la diode luminescente s’allumera.

Fonctionnalité
Paramètres de diffusion
• Appuyez une fois sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pour activer le diffuseur et
démarrer la fonction de brume continue. Avec l’eau remplie jusqu’à la
ligne maximum, le mode continu est d’environ 6 heures pour Lustre et 3
heures pour Lucia. Le mode continu est indiqué par une lumière fixe.
• Pour activer le mode intermittent, appuyez une seconde fois sur
le bouton Marche/Arrêt. Le diffuseur fonctionnera 30 secondes et
s’arrêtera 30 secondes, jusqu’à 12 heures pour Lustre et jusqu’à 6
heures pour Lucia. Le mode intermittent est indiqué par une lumière
clignotante et lente.
• Pour un fonctionnement continu de 60, 90 ou 120 minutes, appuyez une
troisième fois sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt. Le mode minuteur est indiqué
par une lumière fixe au-dessus de la durée sélectionnée.
• Pour éteindre le diffuseur depuis n’importe quel mode, maintenez
appuyé le bouton Marche/Arrêt pendant 2 secondes. Toutes les
lumières s’éteindront.
Remarque: Le diffuseur et les lumières s’éteignent automatiquement lorsque
le réservoir est vide.
