2. Getting started
Battery Install Notice
Before you install or change battery, please ensure you already turn off the phone.
Install or change SIM card Notice
1. Before you change SIM card, please make sure you already turn off the phone and dispose
battery.
2. Insert the SIM card and make the golden contact area face down and the nick face out.
Charge the battery
1. Before charging the battery, please make sure that the battery is installed properly in the
phone.
2. Connect the charger lead to the phone socket, and then connect the charger to the AC
socket.
3. If the phone is on when it’s charging, charging indicator is displayed on the screen. If the
phone is off when it’s charging, user can use it while charging. When the battery is fully charged,
the charging indicator on the screen is full and stops twinkling. While using the handset for the
first time, please completely discharge and then completely charge the battery. Repeat the process

for three times to achieve the full performance of the battery
4. Long period unused or some other reasons may cause low battery pressure, so at the beginning
of charging the screen is black and it may take a while before the charging indicator appears.
Warning: When charging, in order to avoid serious damage to phone circuitry, do not remove
or dispose the battery.
3. Calls
3.1 Key Explanation
Short cut: a. Navigation key “up “to “Phonebook”
“Down “to“Audio player”
“Left”to“SMS”
“Right”to“User profiles”
b. Ok key: shortcuts
Unlock Keypad: press <Unlock> then press the * key.
* Key # Key
Functions vary in different situations or function menus:
In inputting status, “*” for symbols.
In inputting status, “#” to switch inputting methods.
In standby mode, hold “#” to switch the phone in silent mode.
In standby and dial mode, press and hold “*”, you can input +, P and W.
In standby mode, input “+” for an international call; in dial status, input “P” for calling
number with extension phone.
3.2 Sub Menu Explanation
When you press Menu Left, you will enter sub menu. Press Navigation key Right or Down to
select the function with clockwise, press Navigation key Left or Up to select the function with
counter-clockwise. The name of function will show in the middle frame.
3.3 Make a Call
Making a call by dialing numbers:
1. In standby mode, enter the phone number. If you want to change the numbers, press left and
right direction key to move the cursor and press〈Clear〉to delete a number. Press and hold
〈Clear〉to delete all characters.

2. Press the call key to call the number.
Making a call using the Phonebook:
1. In standby mode, press〈NAMES〉to enter the phonebook, choose or input the needed letter
(phonetic) to search. Choose the number; press the call key to dial out.
2. You also can enter the phonebook list from functional menu, then search and call.
Call the Dialled calls, Received calls, Missed calls or Rejected Calls:
Speed dialing method:
1. In standby mode, press the call key to view the call log list, missed calls.
2. Choose a number and press the call key to dial.
Making a call using the menu:
1. In standby mode, enter the menu, choose Call history; and select SIM A/B Call History.
2. Choose from missed calls, dialled calls and received calls.
3. Choose the needed number and press the call key to make a call.
3.4Answer an Incoming Call
Press the Call key to answer an incoming call.
3.5 Call Options
Offers numerous in call functions (some of this functions need a subscription with the service
provider). During the call, press〈Option〉and choose between the following options:
Speaker: To active the speaker.
Mute: You can switch on/off microphone.
Hold: Pause the call
End Call: End the present call
Volume: To adjust the volume during the call.
DTMF (Dual-tone Multi-frequency): you can choose on/off; which is to send dual-tone
multi-frequency sound, this can offer dialing to the telephone numbers with extensions.
Record: Record the sound.
Phonebook: Same as phonebook list in the function menu
Messages: To explore the SMS Menu
4. Input Method
Overview
Your phone offers input methods as followings: Abc, abc, ABC, Numeric, totally Four
methods.
Keypad Definition

The definition of keypad is as follow:
Left key: Enter and OK
Right key: Back and Cancel
Navigate Keys: cursor move or choose word.
# Key: switch input methods and a sign will be display in left side.
2-9 key: input the letter on the keys when input.
* Key: input punctuation
5. Function List
5.1 Settings
5.1.1 If you choose“General”, you can have the following options:
1. Phone settings
a. Display: You can set the Transition /Screensaver/Backlight/Main menu Style.
b. Standby mode: You can change the wallpaper, turn on/off the operator name and dedicate
certain key features of the phone with the navigation keys (up/ down/left/right) of the phone.
c. Ring tone settings: You can do some settings for the ringtone.
d. Display language: You can do some settings for display language.
2. Date/Time
Set Time zone, set time, date, set format and turn on/off Daylight saving time.
3. User profiles
Profiles options are as followings: General, Meeting, Outdoor, silent, Personal, Headset, and
Power Save
These profiles are set before leaving the factory; user can customize the settings through personal
settings.
4. Auto power on/off
Set a time schedule to power on/power off.
5. Information
You can view the IMEI, Memory details and Software version in this function menu.
6. Security
You can set your phone security settings in this functional menu in order to avoid you phone or
SIM card to be used illegally
7. Restore settings
Input the correct phone password, then you can restore factory settings value. (Original password
is 1234, same as the phone password)

5.1.2 If you choose the “phone”,then you have the following options:
1. Call settings:
Call settings enables the user to set the general parameters of the phone.
The call settings give you the following options:
a. Call waiting
b. Caller identity
c. Any key answer
d. Call time reminder
e. Auto redial
f. Headset auto answer
g. Answer reminder
h. Cost settings
i. User group
2. Call divert
It is a network function that can only be activated when you apply for this service with the
network operator. The function can divert calls that satisfy the conditions to the other caller’s
phone number you have designated.
3. Call barring
This function can restrict calls.
4. Network settings
Preferred list: List network you want to connect to
Selection mode: You can switch between Auto and Manual.
5. Dual SIM settings
Enable SIM: Enable SIM card in standby status
Airplane mode: In Airplane mode, the network and radio transceivers are turned off to prevent
disturbance to sensitive equipment .When the flight menu is activated, you are asked to select a
mode the next time you turn on your phone.
6. Speed dial
To edit the corresponding speed dial number. Then you can long press the corresponding key to
dial the number designated to the key through the standby mode.
5.2 Multimedia
5.2.1 Camera
Once you are in Camera mode, you can do the following settings:
Image size: To set the image size.

Image quality: To set the image quality.
Night mode: To set the camera mode as night mode.
Timer: If you turn on this function, you can take picture after a certain time you set.
White balance: It can set white balance of the camera.
Banding: It can set the banding of the camera.
Sound: You can choose to turn on or turn off the sound when take pictures.
EV: It can set the EV of the camera.
5.2.2 Image Viewer
Press up and down direction key to scroll images, press left key to do following options to the
selected picture file:
View: View selected image.
Set as: Set present image as wallpaper and caller picture.
Send: Send present image via MMS./Bluetooth.
Rename: Edit the name of present file.
Delete: Delete present file.
Delete all files: Delete all files in the image viewer.
Mark: To select several images
Slide show: To slide show the images.
View details: To view the details of the images.
5.2.3 Video recorder
In the camera interface, the following options are available:
Video size: To set the video size.
Video quality: To set the video quality.
Night mode: To set the video recorder mode as night mode.
White balance: It can set white balance of the video recorder.
Banding: It can set banding of the video recorder.
Sound: You can choose to turn on or turn off the sound when recording.
File size limit: You can set size limit for the file.
Rec time limit: You can set time limit for recording.
EV: It can set EV of the video recorder.
5.2.4 Video Player
There are the following options in the video player menu:
■Play:Enter the player menu and play the video.
■send: Transfer videos through MMS/Bluetooth.
■Rename: Rename the video file
■Delete: Delete the video from play list
■Delete all files: Delete all videos from play list.

■View details: To view the detail information of the video files.
5.2.5Audio Player
Select one audio file in the play list and the following options are available.:
View: To view the audio list.
New playlist: To create a new playlist.
Repeat: You can set repeat mode for audio player.
Shuffle: You can turn it on/off.
Equalizer: In this function menu, the phone provides 6 types of sound effect to suit your
favor when playing music.
3D surround: You can turn it on/off.
Set cover: Set cover for the audio player.
5.2.6 Sound Recorder
To make an audio record, select the “Sound Recorder”. Select the "Options" for the selected
record file to perform the following operation:
Record: To start sound recorder.
View files: To view all audio files
5.2.7 FM Radio
Use your phone to listen to the Radio.
Radio On/off: To turn on/off the radio.
My Channel: List out all the current channels. You can enter channel list, edit it and display the
searched channel list.
Add to my channel: To add a channel to the channel list.
Search channel: You can search the channel by two methods:Auto search and Manual input.
Settings: Select the Radio background type.
5.3 File manager
If you choose the phone memory:
Press left key option to enter function menu, the following options available.
Open: See the files in the different folders of your phone
Delete: To delete the folder.
Settings: Sort by: To sort the folder by name/size/data/type
Memory Details: To view the Memory status of the phone memory.
If you choose the Card memory:
Press left key option to enter functional menu, the following options available:
Open: See the files in the different folders of your phone
Rename: To rename the folder
Delete: To delete the folder
Create folder: Create a new folder
Settings: Sort by: To sort the folder by name/size/date/type.
Memory Details: To view the Memory status of the Memory card.

5.4 Phonebook
5.4.1 View: To view the contact
5.4.2 Call: To Call the current number.
5.4.3 Send: To send text SMS/MMS to the current number.
5.4.4 New: To add a new contact to the phonebook.
5.4.5 Delete: To delete the current contact.
5.4.6 Mark: You can mark several contacts.
5.4.7 Copy to phone/SIM: To copy the contact from phone to SIM card or from SIM card to
phone.
5.4.8Add to blacklist: Add the current number to the blacklist.
5.4.9 Vcard: You can do the following options: Send vCard/ Import /Backup
5.4.10 Memory details: To view the service condition of the phonebook storage.
5.5 Messages
5.5.1 Write message:
You can choose to write SMS, Flash SMS and MMS
1. SMS
Your device supports the sending of text messages beyond the character limit for a single message.
Longer messages will be sent as a series of two or more messages. Your service provider may
charge accordingly.
The number of available characters and the current part number of a multipart message is shown
on the top right of the display
The phone supports sending a long message having over 160 characters (character number
restriction for common text messages). If a message has more than 160 characters, the message
will be divided into two or more messages and sent.
The following menu option functions by using left key are provided when you are writing a short
message:
•Add recipient :To add recipient for the message.
•Insert : You can insert picture/Audio/Video/Templates/vCard/vCalendar into the message.
•Convert to MMS : You can convert SMS to MMS by this function.
•Send Options:
(1) Service center number
(2) Bearer mode
(3) Validity period
(4) Message type
(5) Status report
(6) Direct reply

•Input Menu : You have the following options
(1) Insert symbol
(2) Input method
(3) Language
2. Flash SMS
You can read the Flash message directly without open it.
Add recipients: To add recipient for the message.
Send options:
(1) Service center number
(2) Bearer mode
(3) Validity period
(4) Message type
(5) Status report
(6) Direct reply
Input Menu: You have the following options
(1) Insert symbol
(2) Input method
(3) Language
3. MMS
A multimedia message can contain character, audio file and picture. If the size of a
multimedia message is over the limit, the phone cannot receive this multimedia message. The
display effect of multimedia messages may vary with different receiving equipment.
Note: You can use this function only when the service is supported by your network operator
or service provider. Only the device featuring multimedia or Email can receive and display a
multimedia message. For details, please contact the network operator.
Add recipient: To add recipient for MMS.
Insert: To insert picture/ Audio/ Video/Templates/vCard /vCalendar into the MMS.
Insert Slide: To insert slide before or after.
Preview: To preview the MMS
Convert to SMS: Convert from MMS to SMS.
Save to draft: Save the MMS into Drafts box.
Page settings: To set parameters of pages.
5.5.2 Inbox
The received messages are saved in Inbox. You can view all received messages in Inbox. The
messages of SIM card A/B are separately saved. You can perform the following operations:
•Open : To open the message.
•New message : To create a new SMS/MMS.
•Reply : To reply the message.

•Delete: To delete the current message.
•Copy to phone/SIM : To copy the message from SIM to phone or from phone to SIM.
•Export SMS : To export all of the messages.
•Mark : To select several messages.
•Sort by :You can sort the message by Date/Subject/Type/Location
•View details : To view the details of the message.
5.5.3 Draft
You can save a message you edit in the Draft. Corresponding operation can be performed to
a Message saved in the draft.
5.5.4 Outbox
If the message is failed to be sent, the message will be saved into Outbox.
5.5.5 Sent items
If the “Save and send” is selected when a message is sent, the sent message will be saved in the
“Sent messages”.
5.5.6 Templates
Select frequently used phases from the template and insert into message editing interface.
5.5.7 Voice mail server
Voice mail server is a network service .You may apply for this service beforehand. For detailed
information and voice mail server number, please contact your network operator.
5.5.8 Cell broadcast
Cell broadcast is a service provided by the network operator to send messages such as weather
forecast, traffic status, etc. to all GSM subscribers in a specific area.
Note: The realization of the cell broadcast function needs the support of the network. For details,
please contact the network operator.
5.5.9 Settings
You can set some parameters of messages in this menu.
5.5.10 Memory status
It shows total used space and free space.
5.6 Call history
In this function menu, you can check the All calls, Dialled calls, Received calls, Missed calls, You
can perform the following operations:
View: To check the call history.
Call: To call the Dialled calls, Received calls or Missed calls.
Send: Send SMS/MMS to the Dialled calls, received calls or missed calls.
Save: Save the number of the Dialled calls, Received calls or Missed calls to the phonebook..
Delete: Delete the current call history .
Delete all: Delete all of the call history.

Call timer: You can do the following options:
Last call: Check the latest call duration.
Received calls: Check the total duration of received calls.
Dialled calls: Check the total duration of Dialled calls.
Reset: Clear all the duration record.
Call cost:
Check the last call cost, Total cost, Credit or reset total cost.
5.7 Fun & Games
5.7.1 Facebook
5.7.2 MSN
You can use MSN application to chat with your friends by inputting a valid username and
password. (You can get your username and password by registering a mailbox in hotmail
webpage.)
Insert your memory card so that you can open MSN application.
5.7.3 Yahoo message
Yahoo messenger is another chat tool powered by Yahoo Corporation. The procedure and method
for how to use it please refer to the MSN using guide above.
5.7.4 Snake

5.7.6 E-book
E-book application can help you to read a file in .txt format.
5.8 Organizer
5.8.1 Calendar
With this function, you can view the calendar and schedule, and you can schedule with the
scheduler to set the schedule and alert. Move the cursor to the desired date with direction keys. If a
memo has been set in the schedule of some date, the date is highlighted. To view all memos of a
day, move the cursor to the date. In this case, the following operation can be performed.
View: To view and set the schedule of a day
New event: You can add different kinds of tasks on the data
Weekly/Monthly view: To view the calendar by week/month.
Event list: To list all the events.
Go to date: To input the date to enter the calendar, then move the cursor to the specified date.
Delete all: To delete the events of before data or delete all events.
Search event: Search event by inputting search conditions.
Memory details: To show the number of the total events and the free space.
5.8.2 To do List

When adding a task, you must edit the following: year, month, day; the task duration time; Add a
Note; Set the alarm On or Off;
On an existing task, by pressing 〈Option〉, you have the following options:
View: view the existing task.
Edit: Browse and select tasks options to make proper settings.
Add:Add a new task
Delete: Delete present task.
Delete all: Delete all tasks on the same day.
Sort by: You can sort tasks by status /priority/due date
Send: Transfer the task by SMS.
5.8.3Alarm
The options of editing alarm:
1. Statue: turn on/off alarm.
2. Time: set the time of alarm.
3. Frequency: set the repeat mode for alarm
4. Ringtone: You can set ringtones for alarm.
5.8.4 Calculator
Press 0-9 keys to input numbers and *key for “.”
Press navigate keys to input +、-、×、÷
Press <Clear> can delete the previous input, or hold <Clear> to delete all input.
Press OK to get the result.
Note:The error is available because of limited accuracy.
5.8.5 Stopwatch
The stopwatch can record time exactly.
Press left key to split timing, Press right key to stop recording .
5.8.6 Converter
You can use this function to convert between different units.
5.8.7 BMI
You can manage your health by BMI, you can input your height and weight, then press OK ,you
can get the BMI result.
5.8.8 World Clock
Enter world clock to view the time in different city of the world.
5.8.9 Timer
You can countdown time by this function.
5.8.10 Notepad

It can be used as a e-note book.
5.8.11 Flashlight
You can turn on /off the led light
5.9 Services
Phone supports STK function (But it requires support from SIM card service provider)
■WAP
This function allows you to acquire or visit diversified services on the internet through
message or network, please contact your network operator for more information.
a. Guidance: You can choose to go to URL or Homepage.
b. Manage bookmark:Access or edit bookmark.
c. Folder: You can create a new folder.
d. Clean: To clean buffer data.
e. Settings: You can choose yes or no for downloading image.
f. Download dir: To download dir.
g. Exit: To exit the wap.
■Bluetooth
a. Turn on/off: To turn on/off the Bluetooth.
b. Paired devices : Inquiry new device or display paired devices and take the options
c. Search devices: Search for devices.
d. Settings: Configure the settings of Bluetooth.
■Connection settings
Data account: You can edit data account.
WAP settings: You can set parameters of WAP.
MMS settings: You can set parameters of MMS.
