Power Key
• Press and hold to power on, select phone
modes, turn on/off airplane mode, restart,
or power off.
• Press to turn off or on the screen display.
Home Key
• Touch to return to the Home screen from
any application or screen.
• Touch and hold when the screen is not
locked to open Google Search.
Menu Key
• Touch to get the options for the current
screen.
•
Touch and hold to see recently used apps.
Back Key
Touch to go to the previous screen.
Volume Key
Press or hold either end of the key to turn
the volume up or down.
Before Getting Started
1. Insert the end of a small paper clip or SIM
eject tool into the hole beside the micro-
SIM card tray.
2. Pull out the micro-SIM card tray and
place the SIM card on the tray as shown.
Then carefully install the tray back.

Charging the Battery
When you rst get your new phone you’ll
need to charge the battery.
WARNING! Use only ZTE-approved
chargers and cables. The use of unapproved
accessories could damage your phone or
cause the battery to explode.
CAUTION: Do not change the built-in
rechargeable battery in your phone by
yourself. The battery can only be changed
by ZTE or ZTE authorised service provider.
1. Connect the adapter to the charger jack.
2. Connect the charger to a standard AC
wall outlet.
3. Disconnect the charger when the battery
is fully charged.

Powering On/Off
Make sure the SIM card is in your phone and
the battery is charged.
• Press and hold the Power Key to turn on
your phone.
• To turn it off, press and hold the Power
Key to open the options menu. Touch
Power off and then touch OK.
CAUTION: Do not touch the Volume Key
when powering on the phone.
Restarting the Phone
If the phone freezes or takes too long to
respond, try pressing and holding the Power
Key for about 8 seconds to restart the
phone.
Waking Up Your Phone
Your phone automatically goes into sleep
mode when it is not in use for some time.
The display is turned off to save power and
the keys are locked to prevent accidental
operations.
You can wake up phone by turning on the
display and unlocking the keys.
1. Press the Power Key to turn the screen
on.
2. Touch and hold at the center of the
screen.
NOTE: If you have set an unlock pattern,
face lock, PIN or password for your phone,
you’ll need to draw the pattern or enter the
PIN/password to unlock.

Using the Touch Screen
Your phone’s touch screen lets you control
actions through a variety of touch gestures.
• Touch
When you want to type using the
onscreen keyboard, select items
onscreen such as application and settings
icons, or press onscreen buttons, simply
touch them with your nger.
• Touch and Hold
To open the available options for an item
(for example, a message or link in a Web
page), touch and hold the item.
• Swipe or Slide
To swipe or slide means to quickly drag
your nger vertically or horizontally
across the screen.
• Drag
To drag, press and hold your nger
with some pressure before you start to
move your nger. While dragging, do
not release your nger until you have
reached the target position.
• Pinch
In some apps (such as Maps, Browser,
and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by
placing two ngers on the screen at once
and pinching them together (to zoom out)
or spreading them apart (to zoom in).
• Rotate the screen
For most screens, you can automatically
change the screen orientation from
portrait to landscape by turning the phone
sideways.

Touche Marche-Arrêt
• Appuyez longuement sur cette touche
pour allumer votre téléphone, afcher les
options du téléphone, activer/désactiver
le mode Avion, redémarrer ou éteindre
votre téléphone.
• Appuyez sur cette touche pour activer ou
désactiver l’afchage de l’écran.
Touche Accueil
• Appuyez sur cette touche pour revenir à
l’écran d’accueil.
• Appuyez longuement sur cette touche
lorsque l’écran n’est pas verrouillé pour
ouvrir le moteur de recherche Google.
Touche Menu
• Appuyez sur cette touche pour afficher
les options de l’écran actuel.
• Appuyez longuement pour afficher les
applications récemment utilisées.
Touche Retour
Appuyez sur cette touche pour revenir à
l’écran précédent.
Touche Volume
Appuyez sur ou maintenez appuyée une des
extrémités du bouton pour augmenter ou
diminuer le volume.
Avant de commencer
1. Insérez l’extrémité d’un petit trombone ou
un outil d’extraction de carte SIM dans
l’orice situé en regard du logement de la
carte micro-SIM.

2. Ouvrez le logement de la carte micro-
SIM, puis placez la carte SIM dans le
logement comme illustré. Remettez le
logement en place avec précaution.
Chargement de la batterie
Lorsque vous recevez votre nouveau télé-
phone, vous devez charger la batterie.
AVERTISSEMENT Utilisez exclusivement
des chargeurs et câbles approuvés par ZTE.
L'utilisation d'accessoires non autorisés
peuvent endommager votre téléphone, voire
causer l'explosion de la batterie.
ATTENTION : Ne changez pas la batterie
rechargeable intégrée vous-même. La bat-
terie doit uniquement être changée par ZTE
ou par un prestataire agréé par ZTE.
1. Connectez l'adaptateur à la prise du
chargeur.

2. Branchez le chargeur sur une prise mu-
rale standard.
3. Lorsque la batterie est complètement
chargée, débranchez le chargeur.
Mise sous/hors tension
Assurez-vous que la carte SIM est présente
dans le téléphone et que la batterie est char-
gée.
• Appuyez longuement sur la touche
Marche/Arrêt pour allumer votre télé-
phone.
• Pour l'arrêter, appuyez longuement sur
la touche Marche/Arrêt pour ouvrir le
menu d'options. Appuyez sur Power off
(Eteindre), puis sur OK.
ATTENTION : ne manipulez pas la touche
Volume lors de la mise sous tension du télé-
phone.
Redémarrage du téléphone
Si le téléphone se bloque ou prend du temps
pour réagir, appuyez sur la touche Marche/
Arrêt durant environ 8 secondes pour redé-
marrer le téléphone.

Sortie de veille de votre
téléphone
Votre téléphone passe automatiquement en
veille lorsqu'il reste inutilisé durant une pé-
riode dénie. L'écran s'éteint pour économi-
ser la batterie et le clavier est verrouillé pour
empêcher toute utilisation inintentionnelle.
Pour sortir l'appareil de veille, activez l'écran
ou débloquez le clavier.
1. Appuyez sur la touche Marche-Arrêt
pour verrouiller l'écran.
2. Maintenez enfoncée l'icône au centre
de l'écran.
REMARQUE : si vous avez déni un sché-
ma de déverrouillage, un verrouillage par
reconnaissance faciale, un mot de passe ou
un code PIN pour protéger votre téléphone,
vous devrez reproduire le schéma ou entrer
le code pour déverrouiller l’appareil.
Utilisation de l'écran tactile
L'écran tactile du téléphone vous permet de
contrôler les actions de diverses façons.
• Appuyer
Pour saisir des données sur votre cla-
vier tactile, sélectionner les éléments à
l'écran (applications, icônes, paramètres),
appuyer sur le boutons à l'écran, il vous
suft de les toucher avec votre doigt.
• Appuyer longuement
Pour ouvrir les options disponibles pour
un élément (un message, un lien dans
une page Web, etc.), appuyez longue-
ment sur l'élément souhaité.

• Glisser
Par glisser, on entend déplacer rapide-
ment un doigt horizontalement ou vertica-
lement sur l'écran.
• Déplacer
Pour déplacer un élément, maintenez
votre doigt fermement appuyé sur ce der-
nier, puis déplacez votre doigt. Ne relâ-
chez pas votre doigt avant d'être arrivé à
l'emplacement cible.
• Pincer
Dans certaines applications (cartes,
navigateur, photos), vous pouvez zoomer
et dézoomer en plaçant deux doigts sur
l'écran. Rapprochez-les pour zoomer,
écartez-les pour dézoomer.
• Pivoter l'afchage
Pour la plupart des écrans, il suffit de
pivoter le téléphone pour changer auto-
matiquement l'orientation de l'écran.
