l Insertyourfingernailintotheslotatthebottomcornerofthebatterycompartmentcoverand
liftthecoverupgently.

l Replacethebatterycompartmentcover,makingsureallthetabsaresecureandthereare
nogapsaroundthecover.

2. Chargeyourbattery.
l PlugtheUSBconnectorintothecharger/accessoryjackonthelowerleftsideofyour
phone.

l PlugtheACadapterintoanelectricaloutlet.
Note:Yourphone’sbatteryshouldhaveenoughchargeforthephonetoturnonandfindasignal,runthe
setupapplication,setupvoicemail,andmakeacall.Youshouldfullychargethebatteryassoonaspossible.
Note: Ifyourphoneisbrandneworhasnotbeenusedforsometime,youmaynotseeanyindicationthatthe
phoneisbeingchargedatfirst.Thisiscausedbyanover-drainedbatteryandyourphonewillreturntonormal
afterenoughtimeofcharging.
3. PressandholdthePowerButtontoturnthephoneon.
l Ifyourphoneisactivated,itwillturnon,searchforservice,andbeginthesetupprocess.
l Ifyourphoneisnotyetactivated,seeActivateYourPhoneformoreinformation.
Note: DonotpresstheVolumeButtonwhenturningthephoneon.Otherwise,youmayswitchyourphone
toDownloadMode,RecoveryMode,orFactoryTestingMode.Toswitchbacktonormal,pressandholdthe
PowerButtonforabout15seconds.
Activation and Service
Beforeusingyourphone,youmustsetupyourservicewithBoostMobile.Youwillneedyour
phone’sserialnumber(MEID),printedontheboxlabelandonastickerinsidethebattery
compartment.
