Let’s go
Getting started with your device

1. Connect Your Device
Connect the WAN/LAN4 port to the broadband service network port with
a network cable.

2. Power on Your Device
Connect the original power adapter to your device and then your device
will be powered on and connect to the Internet automatically.

3. Access the Internet
yWi-Fi: Get the default SSID and password on the label and connect
to the Wi-Fi network with your mobile device, and then access the
Internet.

yNetwork cable(RJ45): Connect with the computer via LAN ports
and then access the Internet.

Manage Your Device
You can manage the device by logging in to the management web page.
1. View the label on your device to get the default Device Manager
Website IP address and Password.
2. Launch the Internet browser and enter the Device Manager Website
IP address in the address bar.
3. Input the password and then click Login.
4. After the management web page is opened, you can change the
Wi-Fi SSID, password or other settings.

Mesh Network Function
Your device has the Wi-Fi Mesh ability. You can create Wi-Fi Mesh
network to form a larger range of Wi-Fi network in your house and
ensure seamless Wi-Fi roaming when you move.
To set your mesh network:
1. Log in to the management web page.
2. Click Mesh Network icon .
3. Follow the instructions to create your mesh network.
4. Enjoy your mesh network.

Use the ZTELink App
The ZTELink app is a quick and easy way to manage your device.
1. Scan the appropriate QR code to download the ZTELink app.
2. Connect your smartphone to your device via Wi-Fi.
3. Run the ZTELink app and use the default Website Password
printed on the label to log in to the ZTELink app.

1 LAN ports Connect to a PC.
2WAN/LAN
ports
WAN/LAN4: Connect to a WAN in the single WAN
mode.
WAN/LAN3: If you want to use two WAN
connections, you need to switch to the Multi WAN
mode on the management web page and then
connect the other WAN to the WAN/LAN3 port.
3 Power port Connect to the original power adapter.
4 WPS key Press and hold for about 2 seconds to activate
the WPS function or create the mesh network.
5 NFC area
When you bring your NFC-enabled phone and the
device together, follow the instructions on your
phone to connect to the Wi-Fi network without
entering the password.

6 Indicator
Red blinking:
yThe device is being started.
yThe device is being restored to the factory
settings.
Red on: The WAN is not connected.
White blinking:
yWPS is activating.
yThe mesh network is being created.
White on: The WAN is connected.
Off: The power adapter is not connected.
7 RESET Press and hold for about 3 seconds to restore
your device to the factory settings.

Troubleshooting
Internet Related Problems
Symptoms Possible Problems / Solutions
I cannot access the Internet
at all.
yPlease check your conguration settings.
yPlease wait 1~ 2 minutes for the device to
initialize.
yCheck your network indicators.
I cannot visit the
management web page.
yEnter the correct IP address. You can view
the label on your device to get the default IP
address.
yOnly use one network adapter in your PC.
yDo not use any proxy server.
yDisable the automatic switch to the mobile
network on your phone.

I cannot establish the Wi-
Fi connection between my
device and the client.
yMake sure the Wi-Fi function is active.
yRefresh network list and select the correct
SSID.
yCheck the IP address to make sure your
client can obtain an IP address automatically
in the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) properties.
yType the correct network key (Wi-Fi
password) when you connect to the device.

Problems with the
passwords.
yView the label to get the default passwords.
yIf you have changed the passwords and
forgotten them, you need to restore the device
to the factory default settings.
I cannot create the mesh
network.
yRefer to the operation steps on the
management web page.
yRestore the device to the factory settings and
try again.
I cannot use the WPS
function to connect other
devices to my device.
Log in to the management web page, nish
the quick settings and then try again.

electronic equipment to avoid electromagnetic interference.
yThe device may interfere with medical devices like hearing aids
and pacemakers. Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the
medical device before using it.
yPlease keep yourself at least 20 centimeters away from your
device.
yDo not use your device in dangerous environments such as oil
terminals or chemical factories where there are explosive gases or
explosive products being processed.
yPlease use original accessories or accessories that are authorized
by ZTE. Unauthorized accessories may affect the device
performance, damage the device or cause danger to you.
yDo not attempt to dismantle the device. There are no user-
serviceable parts.

yDo not allow the device or accessories to come into contact with
liquid or moisture at any time. Do not immerse the device in any
liquid.
yDo not place objects on top of the device. This may lead to
overheating of the device.
yThe device must be placed in a well-ventilated environment for use.
yDo not expose the device to direct sunlight or store it in hot areas.
High temperature can shorten the life of electronic devices.
yDo not allow children to play with the device or power adapter.
yThe device is for indoor use only. Do not use the device outside.
yFor pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near
the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Cleaning and Maintaining
yUse an antistatic cloth to clean the device. Do not use chemical or
abrasive cleanser as these could damage the plastic case. Turn off
your device before you clean it.
yUse the device within the temperature range of -20°C ~ +55°C,
and the storage temperature range is -40°C ~ +70°C. The humidity
range is 5%~95%.

yDo not use your device during a thunderstorm. Remove the mains
power pack from the wall socket.
Limited Warranty
This warranty does not apply to defects or errors in the product caused
by:
i. Reasonable abrasion.
ii. End users’ failure to follow ZTE’s installation, operation or
maintenance instructions or procedures.
iii. End users’ mishandling, misuse, negligence, or improper
installation, disassembly, storage, servicing or operation of the
product.
iv. Modications or repairs not provided by ZTE or a ZTE-certied
individual.
v. Power failures, surges, re, ood, accidents, and actions of third
parties or other events outside ZTE’s reasonable control.
vi. Usage of third-party products or usage in conjunction with third-
party products if such defects are due to the combined usage.
vii. Any other cause beyond the range of normal usage intended for the
product.

End users have no right to reject or return the product, or receive a
refund for the product from ZTE under the above-mentioned situations.
This warranty is end users’ sole remedy and ZTE’s sole liability for
defective or nonconforming items, and is in lieu of all other warranties,
expressed, implied or statutory, including but not limited to the implied
warranties of merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, unless
otherwise required under the mandatory provisions of the law.
