Thank you for purchasing the ZVS-380 Vehicle Security System,

Arming the Alarm system.

Press Button 1 on the remote transmitter, the siren will chirp once, the
indicators (or parking lights) will flash once and the doors will lock
(optional).* Vehicle will be immobilised if the starter disable is connected.
The dash mounted LED will begin to flash once per second.
If the siren chirps twice when the alarm is activated, this indicates that
either, the door, boot or bonnet is still open or not closed properly.
(Note: Vehicles with an interior light delay may also cause the siren to
chirp twice when the alarm is activated)

Disarming the Alarm system.
Press Button 2 on the remote transmitter, the siren will chirp twice, the
indicators (or parking lights) will flash twice and the doors will unlock
(optional)
The Status LED Indicator will stop flashing.
If the siren chirps three times when the alarm is deactivated, this
indicates the alarm was triggered in your absence. (Refer Page #5)

Disarming the Alarm system if the siren is sounding..
If the alarm has been triggered and the siren is sounding, press Button
2 once to stop the siren from sounding. (Alarm remains armed)
To deactivate the alarm system and unlock the doors (If connected to
central locking) press Button 2 again.
FEATURES
Door, Boot, Bonnet Protection - When the alarm is armed, if any
of these entry points are opened, the alarm will trigger for 30 seconds
and the LED will flash rapidly. If these entry points are tripped more
than 3 times, the alarm will automatically bypass these zones.
(Zones are re-activated once alarm is disarmed then re-armed)
Remote Panic - When activated, the siren will sound and indicators
(or parking lights) will flash continuously.
To activate the Panic feature, press and hold Button 1 for two
seconds.
To deactivate remote panic, press Button 2.
Dual Stage Shock Sensor - This sensor is designed to detect
both light and heavy impacts to the vehicle’s body.
This sensor is fully adjustable by your authorised installer.
At the time of installation, the shock sensor will be adjusted to the
appropriate setting. Once the alarm system is activated, the shock
sensor continually monitors for impact to the body of the vehicle.
The Shock sensor has two levels of sensitivity.
Warning Chirps - Siren Chirps 3 times if the vehicle’s body receives
a light impact. If the Warning Chirp stage is tripped more than five
times, the Warning Chirps sensor will be temporarily disabled until the
system is disarmed and then re-armed. All remaining triggers remain
active.
Full Trigger - Siren sounds for a 30 second cycle if the vehicle’s body
receives a heavy impact. If the Full Trigger Stage is tripped more than
three times, the Full Trigger sensor will be temporarily disabled until
the system is disarmed and then re-armed. All remaining triggers
remain active.
LED - The dash mounted LED will flash at a rate of once per second
when the alarm is ON.

Valet / Service Mode - Valet / Service mode prevents the alarm
from arming if the automatic arming feature is selected.
Valet / Service Mode disables the alarm system.
To activate Valet / Service mode, turn the ignition ON, close all the
vehicles entry points (doors / boot / bonnet) and press and hold
Button 2 for two seconds. The siren will chirp once (indicators or
parking lights will flash once) and the LED will turn solid Red to
indicate the system is in Valet / Service Mode
To deactivate Valet / Service mode, turn the ignition ON, close all the
entry points (doors / boot / bonnet) and press and hold Button 2 for
two seconds. The siren will chirp twice (indicators or parking lights will
flash twice) and the LED will turn OFF to indicate that Valet / Service
mode has been deactivated.
*Omni Lock - The vehicles doors can be locked and unlocked by
using the remote transmitter whilst the ignition is on. (*Note: Vehicle
must be equipped with central locking)
Temporary Silent Arm / Disarm – Press Buttons 1 and 2
simultaneously to arm the alarm silently. Press Button 2 to disarm the
alarm silently.
Last Stage Arming Memory – If Alarm is armed and the vehicle’s
battery is disconnected, when the battery is re-connected the alarm
system will remain armed.
Remote Control Code Learning – The Alarm system can hold up
to four Remote Controls. At any time a lost or stolen remote
transmitter can be deleted from memory by your authorised installer.
* Locking Outputs - If your vehicle is equipped with central locking,
the alarm system can be connected so the doors will lock when the
alarm is armed and unlock when disarmed.
* Remote Boot Release - Press and hold Button 2 for two
seconds, the siren will chirp once and the boot will open.
(Vehicle must contain electronic boot release for this feature to work)
* Starter Disable / Immobiliser – Once the Alarm is activated, the
vehicle will be immobilised. The starter motor circuit will be
interrupted. Once the Alarm is deactivated, the immobiliser will be
deactivated.
* Optional Features - Additional parts and labour may be required.

5.
SELECTABLE FEATURES
The features listed below may be configured at the time of installation.
These features can only be programmed by your authorised installer.
Ignition Safety Door Lock / Unlock - If all doors are closed when
the ignition key is turned to the ON position, after 5 seconds, all the
doors will lock. (Note: Central Locking is required for this feature)
When the key is turned OFF, all the doors will unlock.
Factory setting is OFF.
Safety Re-arm - If the alarm system is accidentally disarmed whilst
walking away from your vehicle and providing no entry points (doors /
boot / bonnet) are opened within 30 seconds, the alarm will
automatically re-arm and the doors will lock (Note: The doors will only
lock if the vehicle is equipped with central locking)
Factory setting is OFF.
Automatic Arming - After the ignition is turned OFF and if the
alarm system is not armed manually by the user, the alarm (only) will
automatically arm 30 seconds after the last door has been closed.
Factory setting is OFF.
Automatic Locking - If automatic arming is selected, when the
alarm system arms automatically the doors will lock. (Note: This
feature will only work if the vehicle is equipped with central locking)
Factory setting is OFF.
Silent Arm / Disarm - If silent arm / disarm is selected, when the
system is armed (Button 1 is pressed) and disarmed (Button 2 is
pressed), only the indicators (or parking light) will flash for
confirmation. The siren will not chirp.
Factory setting is OFF.
DIAGNOSTICS REPORT
If the alarm has been triggered in your absence (siren has chirped 3
times when alarm system is disarmed and the LED is flashing rapidly)
please turn the ignition on and the LED will identify which sector has
been triggered.

OVERRIDE PROCEDURE

Important Note: Please ensure your authorised installer shows you
where your override button is located after the installation has been
completed.
In the event that a transmitter is lost, stolen or the transmitter battery
has gone flat, please refer to the override procedure below.
1. Open the drivers door (the alarm will begin sounding and the
indicators or parking lights will start flashing)
2. Turn the Ignition Key to the ‘ON’ position.
3. Press the override button once.
4. The alarm system will now be disarmed and the vehicle may
be started.
