personnel.
Observe the principles for the safe operation of electrical devices.
For maintenance and repair work, the accompanying documents for the supplier
components must be observed.
Hazard potential emanating from the AHU
Electric shock:
Electrical supply line can possibly be defective.
Electric shock and / or damage to the device can result.
Under no circumstances use devices with a damaged electrical connection cable.
Check the power cords before use. Damaged cables can cause electric shock and / or
damage to the electrical parts of the AstroPure air purier.
Damaged cables must be replaced immediately.
Electric cables must never be exposed to water, heat or sharp objects.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose this device to water or rain, do not
touch electrical parts with wet hands, or when standing on a wet surface.
Do not move the device by pulling the power cord.
Avoid running equipment and vehicles over power lines, or provide adequate protection
for them. The device should be in the off mode to connect or disconnect the main power
supply. Internal cabling (fan, control panel, UV-C stage) can be defective.
Electric shock and / or damage to the device can result. Do not continue to operate
devices with an internal error and, if possible, disconnect them from the power supply.
Carry out maintenance and repair work only when the power supply is disconnected and
the AstroPure air purier is switched off.
The unencapsulated fan can generate sound emissions> 70dB (A) (with the maintenance
door open). Damage or loss of hearing can result. Have device maintenance and repair
carried out by qualied personnel only.Sufcient hearing protection must be worn during
maintenance and repair work when the fan is running.
Crushing hazard:
Due to its own weight, there is a risk of crushing when transporting and moving the
AstroPure air purier.
This can result in bruising of the extremities:
2. Quick Start Guide (Potentiometer Control)

• Plug in the power plug
• ON / OFF switch ON
• Rotate speed setting to desired air volume ow
• Position 0: no volume ow (not recommended)
• Position 5: medium volume ow (standard ow rate)
• Position 8: nominal ow rate 2.000 m³/h (recommended)
• Position 10: maximum volume ow for purging activities only
DANGER: ELECTRIC
SHOCK
The AstroPure air purier must be erected with approved lifting gear and secured against
unintentional lowering of the load.
There is a risk of crushing when opening the maintenance door. This can result in bruising of
the extremities. Have device maintenance and repair carried out by qualied personnel only.
