UNDERSTANDING YOUR H30 HEADSET
background information!
Undestanding Understanding
A.1 Basic Understanding of Telephone Headset
A telephone headset is basically a replacement of the telephone’s existing
handset. It is designed so that users can wear the headset while freeing
their hands for other work, but the basic mechanics are the same; having
a microphone and a loudspeaker.
However, every telephone is different. The cable alignment of the
handset is different across brands or even models. So if we are to replace
the handset with a standard headset, in some cases, a re-alignment of
the cables/pins are necessary.
This is why you have also purchased a C100 Telephone Headset Adaptor
along with this H30 headset. If you have not, do not panic, you can still try
to connect the headset to your telephone, in some cases the cable
alignment may be the same.
In addition, there are many telephones in the market that does not
support direct headset connection, meaning extra microphone volume
amplification is required for proper functioning. In these cases, users
need to purchase a Telephone Amplifier (ie. A30) to pair with the
headset.

A.2 Understanding Different Types of Headsets

The H30 Headset is considered an Earloop-wearing headset, however
there are other types of headsets offered by Accutone.
