Adaptive AlphaEclipse 2500 Instruction sheet

4Open the sign labeled with SERIAL ADDRESS = 2.
Using the communications conduit opening, run the Serial I/O cable between the two signs.

2Open the sign with SERIAL ADDRESS = 1.
Locate the 30-foot Serial I/O cable in the lower left side of the sign.

READ THIS FIRST
1Locate the SERIAL ADDRESS label on the back of each sign.
The SERIAL ADDRESS number will increase by one for each sign (1, 2, 3, and so on):

3Run the Serial I/O cable out through the sign’s communications conduit opening.
Then close the sign.

Power wires
NOTE: Do not route the Serial I/O
cable in the same conduit
as the power wires.
5Connect the signs as shown on the next page.
6Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each remaining sign.
