Important information
Read this guide carefully. If there is anything you do not understand completely
please contact your dealer.
Do not lend your bicycle to anyone who is unfamiliar with it. Defects caused by
inappropriate use are not be covered by warranty.
The bicycle can only legally be used on the road by a person aged 1 5 years or
older.
We strongly advise you to always wear a cycle helmet when using your bicycle
and if you are unfamiliar with cycling to attend a cycle proficiency course prior to
using it . Your electric bicycle is not a toy and should be considered a serious
mode of transport.
As with all bicycles it is important that you stay within safe limits, if you feel as if
you are travelling too quickly for the road conditions you probably are so slow
down.
Test your brakes prior to using the bike every time you use it and remember the
bike will not stop as quickly in wet or icy conditions as it would on a dry road.
NEVER drink alcohol and ride your electric bike. The use of alcohol greatly

reduces reflexes and limits your ability to ride safely. Even a very small amount of
alcohol will limit your ability to be safe on the road.
Frequent braking and accelerating, riding into the wind and long uphill rides
consume more energy from the battery, thus reducing the distance you can
travel.
Rain free days when the outdoor temperature is over 1 0°C are good conditions to
ride in. It is not recommended to ride the bike when the outdoor temperature is
below 0°C.
During long periods of storage and non-use keep your battery at least 70% full
and top up with charge every 5 to 8 weeks. When in storage keep your battery in a
dry room where the temperature is about 1 5°C.
IMPORTANT! Do not attempt to open the casings of the battery, motor or
controller! It could be dangerous and all warranties will become void. If you
experience a problem contact our service department or your retailer.
ONLY use the charger supplied with your battery or a correct model
replacement from AGOGS. AGOGS is not responsible for damage caused by
using a non-compatible charger.

Before first ride
There are several keys attached which are related only to your battery. Choose
one of them which you will use and store the other one in case of damage or
loss.
Learn how to release/insert the battery. Release the seat post and saddle.
Unlock the battery bottom lock anticlockwise and release the key. Now you can
pull the battery smootly up. Be very careful when re-inserting the battery. The
slot must fit with the rail perfectly. If the battery won't go smoothly down, you are
doing something wrong. Try again. Lock the battery in frame. Do not leave the
key in lock, you could break it easily.

Check the state of battery charge. The battery has been formated before sale and
it is probably not completely charged so you will need to recharge it. Connect the
charger to your battery first then plug the charger into the mains. Red lamp on
the charger indicates the battery is charging, when the red light turns green the
battery is fully charged.
Adjust height of saddle. Your knee should be slightly bent when the pedal is in
the lowest position. When you stop you should be able to touch the ground with
both feet. It is important that the nut on the collar is tightened so the post will
not move in the seat post tube. Make this adjustment with the quick release lever
in the open position. Never raise the seat post above the mark of MINIMUM
INSERTION!
Adjust height of handle bar. It is important that the nut on the collar is tightened.
Do not raise the handle bar above the mark of MINIMUM INSERTION.
Check tire pressures. Acceptable limits are 2.8 – 4.5 bar.
Check front and rear brake operation.

Bike folding
Electric bicycle AGOGS Barack was designed as a folding bike for city use. Learn how
to fold your bike quickly and correctly.
4 steps to fold your bike
1 . Push both pedals towards the crank. They can be
folded through 90 degrees.
2. Lower the sear post as low as possible.

3. Release the folding hinge clamp at the base of the handlebar
stem and fold the handlebar downwards taky care not to strain
any of the control cables.
4. Release the folding hinge clamp located on the cross bar.
Swing the clamp around a vertical axis as much as possible
and fold the two halves of the bike together
To unfold the bike follow the reverse steps above
ensuring all quick release clamps are securely fastened
and no cables are trapped. Ensure that the stainless
spring cable protector is in place.

Ebike control
This ebike is equipped with display which
provides rider basic information during the
ride. Pedal assistance system is controlled by
display too.
Turn the battery on by ON/OFF button on its top
and then active the ebike electric system by a long
press M button.
After turning the display on the default shown is running speed and lowest
assistance level is set.
Press M to change the shown information in sequence as below: Running speed -
Battery capacity - Trip distance - Total distance - Battery capacity. After 2 seconds
display will turn back to Running speed automatically.

To clear Trip distance hold both the M button and - button for 2 seconds.
This ebike has 5 levels of assistance plus level 0
with no motor support. Each level as assistance
assists rider with a different motor power. Level
1 is the lowest assistance and level 5 is the
highest assistance.
There is a red boost button on left
handlebar. Use this button when you need
to accelerate rapidly. You can also use this
button independently of PAS up to 6 kph
(walk along mode).
Display will turn off automatically after 1 0 minutes of idle.

Riding the ebike
Learn how to ride your bike before your first trip. It is better to find a place with low
traffic for these purposes. Set assistance to level 1 . Start to pedal. You will feel motor
assistance in a moment. Test brake function and effectivity - as you press any of
brake levers motor turns off automatically. Repeat it untill you get used to bike
behavior. Increase assistance level step by step. Focus to feel bike mass compared to
normal bike. Try out the BOOST button.
When you want to go for a long trip, compare the trip distance with the bike operation
range first.
