LL SHOWER SE TS
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments
as this may damage the surface of the walking stick.
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.
CLE NING
All of the product components are manufactured from quality materials. owever,
it is very important that you only clean your shower chairs and stools using a
nonabrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth avoid using lime scale
remover. Abrasive cleaners e.g. AJAX and or abrasive cleaning pads will seriously
damage your product beyond repair.
Certain products have clip on/clip off backs and/or seats; you can easily remove
these if required, clean with a mild detergent and soft cloth in a warm water
solution. Do not exceed 50
o
C when cleaning the seat cover and/or back as this will
permanently damage the plastic.
N.B. Regular daily cleaning will reduce the build-up of limescale on your
product.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES use any abrasive cleaners or materials on any of the
components. Also check that the cleaner you intend to use is suitable for ABS, Vinyl,
Polymer Plastics and Thermo plastic rubbers and Polyurethane Rubber.

USE OF B TH OILS
Caution should be observed if you are using any form of bath oils or oily skin
preparation with your shower chair as this may impair your natural contact skin
resistance.
In the event of using any such oil, your seat must be thoroughly cleaned with a
suitable detergent to break down any oily residue. Failure to observe this
recommendation could impair your safety.
C RE & M INTEN NCE
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals (at least every 6
months) or on reissue, or if you have any concerns.

DJUSTMENTS TO EXTENSION LEGS (IF PPLIC BLE)
Please adjust the legs prior to installation. Remove the ‘E’ clip from the extension
leg and extend all four legs evenly to the desired height ensuring you do not
exceed the last punched hole of the extension leg. (see fig. 1)
Once you have achieved the desired height; reinstall the ‘E’ clip, ensuring that it has
passed through the extension leg and is fitting neatly and snug around the outside
leg. (see fig. 2).
Never install the extension legs unevenly or slanting, this will compromise the
safety of the user.
FIXING THE SHOWER SE T
Choose a suitable fixing for the substrate that you intend to fix the shower seat to
and secure the back plate of the shower seat to the substrate Make sure that the
fixing is secure before allowing it to be used.
TESTING THE SHOWER SE T
Once you have installed the shower seat check your installation and the movement
of the shower seat by raising the set from the down position to the up position.
•Check that there are no obstruction
•Check that the movement of the seat is smooth and unhindered
•Check that the seat legs (if applicable) are sitting evenly on the floor
R ISING ND LOWERING THE SHOWER SE T
To raise your seat, simply lift the front of the seat and the legs will automatically
fold inwards towards the wall. Reverse the action to lower.
FOLDING CTION
If required, your shower seat can be folded up when not in use. The seat is held in
position by friction only.
Once you have installed the seat, check that there is sufficient friction to keep the
seat in the upright position when required.
If the seat starts to descend, then you will need to tighten the bolts either side of
the seat hinges. This operation should be sufficient to maintain the seat in the
closed position.
Additionally, it will be necessary for the bolts to be tightened periodically, if the
seat starts to open on its own accord.

THRE DED LEG DJUSTMENT
Your shower seat may have special threaded leg adjustment as opposed to the
standard extension leg.
To adjust the height of your seat, carefully open the stainless steel M10 locking nut
and undo the threaded stem to the desired height. On no account exceed a
finished height of 470 mm measured from the top of the seat to the bottom of the
black circular foot, as this may compromise the safety of the user.
Once you have reached the desired height, lock the stem in place by tightening the
lock nut against the black indented bush.
NB. Occasionally the extension stems may be slightly angled inwards to the
frame. This is not a fault and will not impair the function or safety of the
product, provided that you tighten off the lock nut as required.
REISSUE
If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all
components for their safety.
This includes:
•PAT test for electrical items
•Tightness of all nuts/bolts/castors
•Other screw in/bolt in/push in components.
•Also check all upholstery for security, splits, etc.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier
for service support.
When reissuing, a risk assessment may be required as to the suitability of the chair
for a particular user.

Ne dépassez pas le poids limite – cela ferait prendre des risques inutiles à
l'utilisateur.

Avant d'utiliser votre chaise ou siège de douche, vérifiez qu'elle/il est en bon état. Si
vous constatez un défaut ou un dommage, contactez votre revendeur.
Dans ce cas, n'utilisez pas le produit car cela pourrait compromettre votre sécurité.
RÉGLAGES 'EXTENSION ES PIE S
Ajustez les pieds avant l'installation du siège ou de la chaise.
Enlevez le clip «E» et réglez la hauteur désirée des quatre pieds de manière égale en
prenant garde de ne pas dépasser le dernier trou poinçonné. (Fig. 1) Une fois que
vous avez atteint la hauteur souhaitée, réinstallez le clip «E» en vérifiant qu'il a bien
traversé le pied de la chaise et qu'il est bien ajusté (Fig. 2).
Ne réglez jamais les pieds à une hauteur inégale les uns par rapport aux autres ni de
façon inclinée car cela compromettrait la sécurité de l'utilisateur.

NETTOYAGE
Ce produit a été fabriqué avec des matériaux de qualité. Cependant, il est très
important et impératif de nettoyer votre chaise ou tabouret de douche
uniquement avec un produit non abrasif ou un détergent doux et avec un chiffon
doux. Evitez d'utiliser un produit anti-calcaire. Les produits nettoyants abrasifs type
AJAX et/ou les éponges abrasives abîmeront beaucoup votre chaise ou tabouret.
Certains produits sont équipés de clips au niveau du dossier et/ou du siège que
vous pourrez facilement enlever si besoin, nettoyez-les dans de l'eau chaude avec
un détergent doux et un chiffon doux. La température de l'eau ne doit pas excéder
50°C pour le nettoyage du siège et du dossier car cela endommagerait le plastique
de manière permanente.
N.B. : Le nettoyage quotidien limitera l'accumulation de calcaire sur le produit.
En aucun cas, vous ne devez utiliser de produit ou de matériau abrasif pour
nettoyer une quelconque partie de votre chaise ou tabouret.
Vérifiez également que le produit de nettoyage que vous utilisez convient au
plastique, vinyle, ABS, plastique polymère, caoutchouc thermo-plastique et
caoutchouc polyuréthane.
UTILISATION 'HUILES E BAIN
Si vous utilisez des huiles de bain ou une préparation huileuse pour la peau, soyez
très prudent car cela pourrait modifier l'adhérence naturelle de votre peau au
contact de la chaise.
Dans ce cas, vous devez nettoyer soigneusement votre siège avec un détergent
adéquat pour éliminer tout résidu huileux. Si vous n'observez pas ces mesures de
sécurité, cela pourrait nuire à celle-ci.

FIXATION U SIÈGE E OUCHE
Choisissez une fixation adaptée au support sur lequel vous allez fixer le siège de
douche et fixez la plaque arrière du siège de douche.
Vérifiez bien que la fixation est sécurisée avant de permettre l'utilisation du siège.
ESSAI U SIÈGE E OUCHE
Une fois que vous avez installé le siège de douche, vérifiez votre installation et le
mouvement du siège de douche en levant l'ensemble de la position basse à la
position haute.
