Overview
LoadMaxx Trailer scales provide on-the-ground weights within
300lbs for each axle group. With an easy to use icon based
interface,you’llndusingyournewtrailerscaleissimple.
Inthismanualwewilldemonstratehowtocalibrateyourscale,set
apinnumberandsetyouralarms.Ifyouwanttolearnmore,visit

How to Use the Touch Screen
• Touchapictureiconormenubuttontonavigatetothe
screen it represents.
• Use the arrows to navigate through options or to
increase/decrease digit values.
• Use to select the next digit. If you get to the right-
mostdigit,touching willwraptotheleft-mostdigit.
Presstoconrm.
• Returntothepreviousmenubypressing.
Power On/O
To turn the display on, touch any location on the touch screen and
quickly release.
Toturnthedisplayo:
• Press toaccessthesettingsmenu
• Press andselect“Displayo”or
• Press againandselecttheamountoftimeyou’d
likethescaletoremainonafterstartup.

Calibrating Your Scale
Forthemostaccurateweights,wealwayssuggestusing
thewizardandselectingmanualcalibrationduringyourrst
calibration. For a second and additional calibrations you will enter
theweightsinthemanualcalibrationarea.Thismanualwalks
you through those steps. If you need assistance, please call Air-
Weigh’scustomersupportat888-459-3247.
Before You Calibrate
Inordertoachievethebestcalibration,werecommendthe
following:
• Whenenteringemptyweights,thetrailerneedstobe
emptyandwhenenteringheavyweights,thetrailerneeds
tohavenearthemaximumlegalheavyloadonthetrailer.
• Itdoesnotmattertheorderyourenteryourheavyand
emptyweights.
• Purchaseascaleticketfromacertiedingroundscale
that provides weights per axle group.
• Werecommendusingthesamecertiedscaleforboth
weights.
• Parkonat,levelground.Donotengageyourbrakesat
any point during the calibration. Chock wheels if needed.
Beforeenteringyourcalibrationinformation,makesureyouare
selectingthecorrecticonforyourtrailerconguration.Forafulllist
withdenitionsviewthepreviouspage.
NOTE: In order to setup multiplecalibrationsfordierenttrailer
congurationsyoumusthavegonethroughthesetupwizardand
picked the correct trailer icons during the intinal setup. See detail
instructions on page 7.

Calibrating with the Set-Up Wizard
Begin by selecting the wrench to
enterthesettingsmenu.
Press the gears icon.
Press the wand icon to enter the
wizard.
Selecting YES will clear previous
calibrations before accepting
newinformation.
Using the arrows, select the
language you want.

Choose LBS or KGS
WerecommendsettingaPINto
protect calibration on all scales.
Choose your PIN and hit OK.
Usethearrowstondandselect
yourconguration.Ifyouhave
questions about which icon to
select,seethekeyonpage2.
(Ifyouaresettingupmorethan1
calibration,makesuretoselectthe
appropriate icon).
Choosemanualcalibration.
Selecttheemptyorheavy
calibration icon depending on

Setting Additional Calibrations
Inordertosetupmultiplecalibrationsfordierenttrailer
congurationsyoumusthavegonethroughthesetupwizardand
picked the correct trailer icons.
To calibrate a trailer for 2calibrations,youmustselectatrailericon
with lift axles.
To calibrate a trailer for 3 calibrations,youmustselectthetrailer
iconpinonwiththenumeral2underneathit.
To calibrate a trailer for 4 calibrations,youmustselectthetrailer
iconpinonwiththenumeral3,or4underneathit.

Pressthebackarrow3times:
(NOTE: If you are completely calibrating a trailer conguration one at
a time you will stop here and either load or unload to nish the other
half of the calibration if you haven’t done so already. Once you have
completely calibrated a single conguration then proceed to the next
step to change the conguration.)
Hit the back button and repeat previous steps for additional
calibrations.

Setting Your Alarms
The LoadMaxx Trailer scale provides two individually
programmablealarmsettings.Built-inLEDswilllightwheneither
one–orboth–ofthefollowingconditionsaremet:
• SlowblinkwhentheWarningWeightalarmsettingis
exceeded.
• FastblinkwhentheOverweightAlarmsettingisexceeded.
Fromthemainscreen,selectthe
bell.
Alarmsareonwhentheboxnext
to the top left bell is checked.
Tosetthealarmtimeoutsselect
hebottomlefticon.
Tosetthealarms,choosethe
icon in the upper right.

Settings
YoucanchangemanyofthesettingsonyourLoadMaxxtrailer
scalebyselectingthewrenchicon.Fromthereyoucanchange
theweights,language,PINandmore.Seethekeyonpage2for
questions on icons.
Tosettheoverweightalarm,
select the icon on the right.
Enteryourdesiredalarmweight
and hit OK.
Go back and select the warning
weight icon on the left and,repeat
to set your overweight warning.

Limited Warranty
Air-Weighwarrants(the“LimitedWarranty”)thattheProductswillbefreefromdefectsin
materialandworkmanshipundernormaluseandservicewithpropermaintenanceforthe
followingtimeperiods:
(a)fornewScalekits,theLimitedWarrantyperiodwillbe3years;
(b)fornewpartsandaccessoriessoldseparately,theLimitedWarrantyperiodwill
be1year;and
(c)forrepairedorrefurbisheditems,includingrepairedorrefurbishedScalekits
andrepairedorrefurbishedpartsandaccessoriessoldseparately,theLimited
Warrantyperiodwillbe90days.
IfanyProductisdeterminedtonotconformtothisLimitedWarrantyduringitsapplicable
LimitedWarrantyperiod,Air-Weighwill,atitsexclusiveoption,eitherrepairorreplacethe
Product.
LimitationsofLimitedWarranty.Air-WeighwillhavenoobligationundertheLimited
Warranty with respect to any product if (a) Buyer fails to notify Air-Weigh in writing during
thewarrantyperiodofanon-conformity,or(b)Buyeroranyotherperson,entity,or
governmentalauthorityuses,misuses,orneglectstheproductinamannerinconsistent
withtheproduct’sspecicationsordirectionsforuseormaintenance,modiesthe
productorimproperlyinstalls,handles,ormaintainstheproduct.
No Repair or Modication of the products. Except as explicitly authorized or in a
separatewrittenagreementwithAir-Weigh,Buyerwillnotservice,repair,modify,alter,
replace, reverse engineer, or otherwise change any of the products.
Disclaimer of All Other Warranties. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET
OUT ABOVE, NEITHER AIR-WEIGH NOR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY ON AIR-WEIGH’S
BEHALF HAS MADE OR MAKES FOR BUYER’S BENEFIT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES
OF:(i)MERCHANTABILITY;(ii)FITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE;(iii)TITLE;
OR(iv)NON-INFRINGEMENT;WHETHERARISINGBYLAW,COURSEOFDEALING,
COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE, ALL OF WHICH
ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. BUYER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT HAS NOT
RELIED ON ANY OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY MADE BY AIR-WEIGH,
OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY ON AIR-WEIGH’S BEHALF.
Limitation of Liability.
IN NO EVENT WILL AIR-WEIGH BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES,
LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE, ARISING OUT OF OR
RELATING TO ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR
NOT THE DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE, WHETHER OR NOT AIR-WEIGH WAS
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE DAMAGES, OR THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE
THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED.
IN NO CASE WILL AIR-WEIGH’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR
RELATED TO THESE TERMS, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO
BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE,
EXCEED THE TOTAL OF THE AMOUNTS PAID TO AIR-WEIGH FOR THE PRODUCTS.
THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF BUYER’S REMEDIES UNDER
THESE TERMS FAIL OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

Procedure For Warranty Claims
ALLcustomersshouldrstcontactAir-WeighCustomerSupportDepartmentat
(888)459-3247forquestionsregardingtheuse,operation,repairorreturnofany
Air-Weigh product.
IntheeventAir-WeighrequeststoexaminetheproductpriortodispositionORfor
repairorreplacement,Air-WeighrequiresaReturnMaterialAuthorization(RMA)
numberbeissuedbeforetheitemisreturned.CustomerSupportwillissuethe
RMAnumber.PleasereferencethisRMAnumberinallcorrespondence.

TheAir-WeighRMAnumbermust appear on the outside of the return packaging.
Air-Weighshallexaminereturnedmaterialwithin30daysafterreceipt,orsooner
ifmutuallyagreedupon.IfAir-Weighdeterminesthatthepartorassemblywas
defectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipandwithinthewarrantyperiod,Air-Weighwill
repairorreplacethepartorassemblyandreturnfreightpre-paid.IntheeventAir-
Weighdeterminesthatthepartorassemblycannotberepairedorreplacedandis
within the warranty period, a credit not to exceed the purchase price will be issued
totheAir-Weighcustomer.
ForourcustomersusingpurchaseordersAir-Weighwillprocessacredit
memoandnotifythecustomerbyemailorfax.Thecustomerwillprocessa
correspondingdebitmemoandnotifyAir-Weighaccordingly.
IfthepartorassemblyreceivedbyAir-Weighdoesnotmeettherequirementsof
thewarrantyprogramsetforthabove,attheAir-Weighcustomer’srequestthe
partorassemblywilleitherbediscarded,returnedfreightcollect,orrepairedor
replacedattheAir-Weighcustomer’sexpenseandreturnedfreightcollect.
