General Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference, along with the warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. The safety
precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury when
correctly adhered to. Follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings to
reduce the risk of re or electric shock.
Danger! Caution! This symbol alerts you that there
is dangerous voltage inside. To prevent electric
shock, do not open the enclosure.
Important! This symbol alerts you to read and
observe important warnings and instructions on
the unit or in this manual.
Electrical safety and cord handling
• Protect from moisture: Do not expose this equipment, the power supply cord and
plug to rain or moisture; do not use it anywhere near water or where water splashes
or drips; do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Do not open: To prevent contact with high voltage components inside, do not
attempt to open the equipment. Do not repair the unit yourself; there are no user-
serviceable parts inside. Only have it serviced by qualied personnel.
• Plug replacement: When replacing the unit’s power plug or cord, the replacement
must be exactly the same or one recommended by the manufacturer. Do not
replace the plug or cord yourself.
• Voltage: Before installing this equipment, make sure your outlet voltage
corresponds to the voltage stated on the appliance rating label.
• Cord and plug: Only use this equipment with the cord and plug supplied. Align the
plug properly and insert it fully. Do not overload the power outlet.
• Damaged cord: When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or similarly qualied personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
• Protect the power cord: Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter, or touch any hot surface. Do not allow anything to rest on or roll over the
power cord. Run any cords so no one steps on or trips over them. Do not run the
cord near heat-producing appliances such as radiators or stoves.

• Power socket: This equipment can only be disconnected from the power supply
by unplugging it from the mains socket. Make sure the mains socket is readily
accessible at all times.
• Disconnect: Unplug the unit when it is not going to be used for a while. This will
prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power line surges. Grasp the
plug, not the cord, when disconnecting.
Usage conditions and restrictions
• Installation: When installing the unit, make sure to place it:
• In a well ventilated area. Do not build it into a frame.
• Away from heat sources, radiators or other products that produce heat.
• Away from areas with high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.
• Away from excess dirt and dust.
• Away from open windows and any place where water or metal objects may get
into the unit and damage it.
• Instructions: Follow the instructions in this manual when installing and adjusting
this equipment. Improper use or installation may result in the risk of re, electric
shock and/or injury.
• Adjustments: Only adjust those controls that are covered in this manual, as
improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage. If this happens,
unplug the equipment and have it professionally serviced.
• Attachments: Do not use any attachments that are not recommended by the
product manufacturer.
• Usage restriction: The equipment is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the equipment by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Children: Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the equipment. Close supervision is always necessary when electric or electronic
equipment is used by or near children.
• Location: Place the product on a straight, rigid and stable surface.
• Ventilation: Openings on the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to protect
the unit from overheating. To ensure proper operation:
• Do not cover openings with things such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains
etc.
• Do not place the unit on a bed, sofa, carpet, rug or similar surface that may
block the ventilation openings.

• Clearance: Allow at least 10cm spacing at the back and top of the product, and
5cm on both sides, to prevent overheating.
• Protect the equipment: Prevent metal objects falling into the equipment. Do not
place heavy objects on top of the equipment or step on it. Do not place objects
lled with water, or naked ame sources, on top of the unit.
• Cleaning: Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning. Clean the
unit only with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners or volatile
solvents. Do not use insecticides near the equipment.
• Service/Repair: If the unit has been damaged, have it serviced or repaired by
qualied personnel only. Contact our after sales support line for advice.
• Liability: We accept no liability for any damage or lost data caused by non-
compliance with these instructions or mishandling of the equipment.
• Interference: Since movement of the CD mechanism and the sensitive circuitry
may cause interference to nearby radio equipment we recommend you switch
this unit o while operating other radio devices.
• Failure to operate: If the unit fails to operate properly, it may not be a
malfunction but due to the complexity of the internal software. In such a case,
unplug the unit from the mains power supply and wait a few minutes before
reconnecting it.
Maintenance, repair and disposal
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Clean the unit only with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
• CAUTION: This unit does not contain any parts you can repair yourself. Do not
open it or attempt to repair it. Opening or removing covers may expose you to
dangerous high voltage or other hazards, and it will invalidate your warranty.
• If the unit has been damaged, have it serviced or repaired by qualied personnel,
contact the after sales support line for advice.
• When replacing parts, make sure the service technician only uses parts
recommended by the manufacturer. Upon completion of service or repair of the
unit, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to ensure the unit is in
proper operating condition.
• At the end of its working life, do not throw this equipment out with your
household rubbish. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of
electrical consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately for recycling. Contact
your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
• No liability can be accepted for any damage or lost data caused by non-
compliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of
the appliance.

Connections
Composite Video Output Terminals (AV Input)
• One set of AV cable is included.
• Connect the unit's Video Output to the TV's Video Input terminal (yellow).
• Connect the unit's Audio Output to the TV's Audio Input terminals (white for
left speaker and red for right speaker).
• When connecting, please refer to the manual of the TV set.
• Covert to PAL or NTSC when watching dierent discs. Choose Auto in TV
System settings for auto detection.
Composite Video Output Terminals(AV Input)
One set of AV Cable is included in the standard packing.
Connecting the unit’s Video output to the Tv’s Video input terminal(yellow)
Connecting the unit’s echo audio output to the Tv's audio input terminals
(white for left speaker and red for right speaker)
When connecting, please refer to the manual of the Tvset.
If your TV set has no AV port, please use the external radio-frequency box
to connect the unit’s(RF interlace) and Tv’s antenna interpolation port.
And adjust the channel and frequency to make the image and acoustic get
the optimum state.
Convert to PAL or NTSC when watching different kind of discs.

Connecting to Progressive Scan TV Set
If the TV has Y, Cb, Cr Input connector, connect the unit via Y, Cb, Cr Output
connector. This provides a better picture quality. Connect the unit's Audio Output
to the TV's Audio Input terminals (white for left speaker and red for right speaker).
Note: the cable is not included.
When connecting to progressive scan TV set, the YUV or RGB in setup menu are
equal to Y, Cb, Cr or VGA Output. (YUV = Y, Cb, Cr)
For Example: Connecting to Y, Cb, Cr
1. Connect Video Output with the TV set.
2. Set DVD Video Output mode to be YUV.
3. Convert to progressive state via the progressive / interlaced button on the
remote control.
Component Output Terminal
• The connection is optional and cables are not included in the packaging.
• Connect the Y, Cb, Cr terminals cables to the Y, Cb, Cr Input on the TV set.
• Connect the unit's Echo Audio Output to the TV's Audio Input Terminals (white
for left speaker and red for right speaker).
Y Cb Cr Output Terminal
The connecting is optional and not included in the standard packing.
Connect the Y,Cb,Cr terminals of the cable to the Y,Cb,Cr, input of the TV
set.
Connesct the unit’s echo audio output to the Tv’s audio input terminals
(white for left speaker and red for right speaker)

Connect the AC-3 Decoding Amplier
• Connect the Unit's Video Output to the Video Input terminals (Videos or Y, Cb,
Cr) of the TV set.
• Connect the Digital Output (optical or coaxial) to the AC-3 built-in amplier.
• Press SETUP button on the remote control to enter the unit's SETUP menu.
• Press / / / buttons on the remote control to select the AUDIO OUTPUT.
• Press / / / buttons on the remote control to select digital output and
choose BISTREAM or LPCM48K.
• Press SETUP button again to save your selection and exit SETUP menu.
Connecting the AC-3 Decoding Amplifief
Connect the unit’s video output to the video input terminals(Video,S-Video
or Y Cb Cr) of the TV set.
Connect the digital output(optical or coaxidl)to the AC-3 built-in amplifier.
Press SETUP button on the remote control to enter the unit’s SETUP menu.
Press directional keys on the remote control to select the AUDIO OUTPUT
Press directinal keys on the remote control to select digital output and
choose BISTREAM or LPCM48K.
Press SETUP again to save your selection and exit[SETUP] menu.

Connect the Coaxial In and Line In
• Connect the unit's Video Output to the video input terminals (Video, S-Video or
Y, Cb, Cr) of the TV set.
• Connect the Coaxial In or Line In to the unit.
• Press SOURCE button on the panel or the remote control, and switch source to
Coaxial In or Line In.
Connecting the COAXIAL IN and LINE IN
Connect the unit’s video output to the video input terminals(Video,S-Video
or Y Cb Cr) or the TV set.
Connect the coaxiai in or line in to the mini hi-fi system.
Press SOURCE button on the panel or the remote control function switch,
switch to the LINE IN or COAXIAL IN.

Getting Started
Installing Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert two AAA batteries (supplied) into the battery compartment, making sure
to match the polarity symbols (+/-). Only use fresh batteries of the same type
and size.
3. Close the battery cover.
NOTE:
• If the batteries leak, clean the battery compartment with a cloth and wash any
chemicals o your skin immediately as the chemicals can cause a rash.
• If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries promptly, observing any local hazardous waste
regulations.
Starting Up
1. Before turning on, check whether all connections are correct and secure. Then
plug in the power connection.
2. Press the POWER button on the front panel or remote control to turn the unit
on.
3. To play a CD / DVD disc, press Open/Close button top the main unit to open
the disc tray. Put a disc into the disc tray and close the tray. The disc will start
playing automatically.
4. Press the POWER button on the remote control (or on the front panel) to switch
the unit to standby mode, or to turn it on at a later stage.
NOTES:
• If your TV image become discolored, move your Hi-Fi System further away from
your TV.
• Make sure to match the speaker cord to the appropriate terminal on the
components: + to +, - to -. If the cords are reversed, the sound might be
distorted and will aect base sound.
• Make sure children do not touch the speaker duck.

• Connect the Coaxial In or Line In to the unit.
• Press SOURCE button on the panel or the remote control, and switch source to
Coaxial In or Line In.

Instructions
Playing Radio Function
1. The FM receiving frequency of this unit range from 87.50MHz ~ 108.00MHz.
2. When the unit is in DVD mode, press the SOURCE button to switch to FM Radio
mode. Press SEARCH button to start searching for radio channels automatically.
When radio channels are found, it will be stored form 1-40.
3. You can also use the CH+ / Ch- buttons to change channels.
4. Use the FF+/ FF- buttons to carry out manual tuning.
NOTE:
You CAN NOT switch to FM radio when the unit is in the USB and card reader mode.
Media Operating Instruction
1. This Hi-Fi system support USB ash drive and SD card, it plays various media
formate such as JPEG, MP3, MP4, AVI, WMA etc.
2. USB media operation: USB function is available when there is no disc and
no SD card inserted. Media les will start playing automatically when USB is
connected.
3. SD card media operation: SD card media function is available when there is no
disc and no USB ash drive inserted. Media les will start playing automatically
when SD Card is inserted.
NOTE:
• DVD and USB function can be switched from each other by pressing the DVD/
USB button on the remote control.
• This Hi-Fi system may not support all media le formats.
USB Copy Function
The Player can copy AVI or MP3 CD disc to a USB ash drive.
1. Plug in the USB ash drive into the USB jack.
2. When playing AVI or MP3 disc, press / / / buttons to select the music
le you want to copy. Press"COPY" button on the remote control. When the TV
displays "USB READY", it means the USB ash drive is ready to use. The unit will
start to copy selected le. The screen will show the copying progress.
3. When nished copying, the screen will show "CLOSE FILE". If you have
completed copying all the les you need, you can take out the USB ash drive.
4. When playing a CD disc, press the "COPY" button on your remote control. Press
/ / / buttons to select the le you want to copy. Then press ENTER
button to conrm selection. Press ENTER button again to cancel le copying.
5. Start: Press ENTER button to start to copy les
6. Exit: Press EXIT button to exit.

7. The speed of the copying process may vary depends on dierent le sizes. If
the USB ash drive does not work, please format it and try again.
NOTE: We recommend you to back up your USB ash drive before formatting
it. Formatting your USB ash drive will wipe all the data and restore it to factory
default.
Bluetooth Operating Instructions
1. Press the SOURCE button to switch the audio source to BT (Bluetooth Input)
mode.
2. After the Bluetooth module is powered on, the blue indicator quickly ashes for
three times and a beep noise will be heard.
3. The red indicator ashes when the unit is searching for Bluetooth devices to
connect. If device has been paired before, Bluetooth will automatically connect
with the last device remembered.
4. When pairing is successful, the blue indicator will ash along with a beeping
noise.
5. Once device starts to play music or sound les, both blue and red indicators will
ash in the same time.
6. When pause playing, only blue indictor will ash.
7. When making or answering phone calls while connect via Bluetooth, phone
calls can only be answered using your mobile phone or smartphone.
8. If you do not wish to answer or making phone calls using loud speaker, simply
disable BT function by pressing SOURCE button on your remote control. Switch
BT mode to a dierent mode will turn o Bluetooth.
NOTES:
• Any obstacles between devices may aect Bluetooth connection.
• With no obstacles between Bluetooth devices, Bluetooth receiving ranges from
8m to 10m.
• Some old version Bluetooth mobile phones may indicate the user to enter the
password "0000"
• When a mobile phone is connected to too many devices via Bluetooth, you
may have to clear pairing history and reconnect your mobile phone.
• Bluetooth connection varies for dierent laptops. If your laptop cannot be
found as a device to pair with the unit via Bluetooth. This means they are
not compatible with Bluetooth pairing with each other. You may call up the
customer after sale service from your laptop company for support.

Playing a DVD
• Connect the unit to your TV (or amplier, if desired).
• Switch on your TV set and select AV mode.
• Plug the DVD Player into an appropriate power point and switch on power to
the outlet.
• Press the POWER button on the front of the unit or press the POWER
button on the remote control of your DVD Player. The screen will display“READ”
if a disc is loaded, or “No Disc” if no disc is loaded.
• Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel of the DVD Player, the tray
will come out automatically.
• Place a disc on the tray and press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the tray.
• After using the unit, press the POWER button on the remote control to switch
the unit into standby mode.
Functions
• Unless indicated otherwise, use the remote control to operate the functions
described throughout this manual.
• All functions can be accessed/operated with the remote control buttons,
some can also be accessed from the front panel of the unit. The function of the
remote control buttons is the same as the corresponding buttons on the front
panel of the DVD Player.
• See the following pages for detailed information about these functions.

Playing a disc
Once it has read the disc, the machine will start playing automatically.
• If the disc is in DVD format, the machine will show the DVD menu or title menu.
• If the disc is in VCD 2.0 format, the machine will active PBC playback control
status.
• If the disc is in CD format, the machine will start playing the CD in sequence.
NOTE: If the picture does not cover the entire screen or there is no colour display,
press the N/P button and change the play mode (from NTSC to PAL).
Basic playback controls
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause the video/music.
• Press the PREV button to skip backward to the previous track/title/chapter.
• Press the NEXT button to skip forward to the next track/title/chapter.
• Press the REV button to fast reverse the disc 2x, 4x, 8x, 20x or back to normal
playback speed.
• Press the FWD button to fast forward the disc 2x, 4x, 8x, 20x or back to
normal playback speed.
• Press the STOP button ONCE to stop the disc playing; press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to resume playback from the last played location.
• Press the STOP button TWICE to stop playback completely.
Description of functions
On-screen display (OSD)
• In DVD disc playback mode: press the OSD button on the remote control to
display elapsed time, chapter number, language, mode, subtitle mode, chapter
time, title time. In VCD disc playback mode: press the OSD button on the
remote control to display single elapsed time, single remaining time, display o
and other information about the disc.

Play mode (N/P)
Press the N/P button repeatedly to toggle between NTSC, PAL and AUTO play mode.
Number buttons
Press the relevant number buttons for playing favourite tracks/chapters according
to their numbers in the menu.
Subtitles
Press the SUBTITLE button to display or change the subtitles when watching
movies/recordings on multi-subtitle encoded discs. You can choose from the pre-
installed subtitles on your DVD disc. (This function only works with multi-subtitle
encoded discs.)
For example, to select language 1 (English) from 8 options, press the SUBTITLE
button and select “English”. If you do not want subtitles displayed, select “Subtitle
o ”.
Angle
Press the ANGLE button repeatedly to view the same image from dierent angles
when watching athletic matches, concerts or theatrical programs on multi-angle
encoded discs. (This function only works with multi-angle encoded discs.)
Title
Press the TITLE button to display the title menu when watching movies/recordings
on multi-title encoded discs. (This function works only with
multi-title encoded discs.)

Menu
The MENU button will return you to the main DVD playback menu. (This function
works only with multi-chapter encoded discs.)
• When playing VCD 2.0 discs, press the RETURN button to return to the PBC
playback menu.
• When playing SVCD discs, press the MENU button to display the menu
on screen. After loading the disc, the unit will enter PBC ON play mode
automatically.
• When playing VCD 1.1, CD-DA and MP3 format discs, press the MENU button
and the PBC OFF notice will appear on the screen. In this mode, the menu will
not display the screen; press the digit button to select the track directly.
Direction buttons
When playing discs, use the / / / UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select
your options in the disk title, disk menu or your device setup menu.
Repeat
• When playing DVD discs, press the REPEAT button and select from the
following options: repeat title, repeat chapter, repeat all, o.
• When playing VCD discs, press the REPEAT button and select from the following
options: repeat track, repeat disc, repeat o.
• When playing audio CDs, choose the particular song you want to be repeated,
then press the REPEAT button and choose from the following options: repeat
track, repeat disc, cancel o.
