Before you start
We thank you for buying of this resistant mobile
phone ALIGATOR.
Before you start, please read this quick guide with
important instructions.

D AL SIM function
Your mo ile phone can operate on 1 or 2 SIM cards.
If you insert only 1 SIM card your mo ile phone
works like a standard mo ile phone.
If you insert 2 SIM cards , oth are working on line
at the same time and it is possi le to make a call on
either card.
Important instructions
In spite of the fact that the mo ile phone is
very sturdy , handle the device with care,
protect it against the fall on the ground,
mechanical damage, contamination or
extreme high temperatures. Protect the
screen from the hits or impacts ! Never put
the mo ile phone into parts. Never
disassem le the phone or accessory!
Remem er that even y a dura le phone
display can crash damage !
Your phone is waterresistant, assuming that all
the hole covers are properly fitted and sealed.
Yet if possi le, keep away from water. In case
of contact, respectively immersion in water,

remove it from water as soon as possi le and
let it properly dry.
When deploying all caps e always sure that
the seal caps are not dirty and that the covers
seal properly and are fully deployed.
If the phone or its part gets into the contact
with water, dry it thoroughly efore using.
Mainly dry all the folds, crevices and holes for
the speaker, earphone and microphone. Never
open the door (on the ack of the phone) after
the phone has come into contact with water
and efore the cover and its surroundings
were properly dried.
In case of contact with water, do not tamper
with the phone, do not press any keys and do
not tamper with caps openings.
Do not switch on and do not use the mo ile
phone in the prohi ited areas
Do not use the mo ile phone while driving the
car

Turn off the mo ile phone near the sensitive
medical device unless you are sure that the
radio transmission of the mo ile phone does
not influence its functions
Mo ile phone can influence the function of
the electronic cardiac pacemaker or other
implanted apparatus – please consult your
medical doctor
Turn off the mo ile phone in the aircraft
Do not use the mo ile phone near the filling
petrol station, turn off the mo ile phone
always near explosives
Use always original atteries supplied y the
producer (danger of damage or explosion of
the mo ile phone)
Do not put the attery at the fire and do not
expose it to the temperature over +60°C
(danger of explosion or fire)

While making a call please keep the mo ile
phone at least 2,5 cm away from the ody to
minimalise the quantity of the el.magnetic

Do not place the mo ile phone or its holder in
the car at the place over the air ag
Keep it out of reach of the children and do not
allow them to play with. It contains small parts
that can suffocate or hurt !
Failure to comply with these instructions may
void the warranty on the device
Software and hardware of the mo ile phone
are continuously updated. The importer
reserves the right to alter the instruction
manual or mo ile phone functions without a
prior notice

Insert SIM cards
Make sure that the mo ile phone is switched off.
Loosen 2 screws on the ack side of the mo ile
phone and remove the cover
Insert one or two SIM cards at the prepared
positions. Pictures y the positions show in which
way the SIM cards should e inserted.
The phone is equipped with 2 slots for SIM cards.
Next to SIM cards you can also insert a MicroSD
memory card.
Finally put the attery cover ack and tighten the
screws. The screws must e properly tightened to
ensure a watertight seal, ut tighten them carefully
not to cross the thread.
If the package includes a screwdriver use always the
supplied screwdriver for tightening of the screws.
Overtightening, reakage or other mechanical
damage of the screws are not covered y warranty !

Switch on
To Turn On – press the utton On/Off (5) and wait
for a while till the mo ile phone is on.
The setup wizard is displayed y the first start.
Choose your language and follow the instructions
on the screen.
To Turn off - press and hold the phone utton (5)
until the display shows the window asking to shut
down. Then confirm it and the mo ile phone
switches off.

Mobile phone reset
In case the phone does not respond or if you need
to reset it, press and hold the On/Off utton (5)
until the phone re oots.
Activation and screen unlock
The screen will e Switched Off after a certain time
of inactivity. You can Switch On/Off the screen y a
short press of the utton (5).
Generally it is necessary to unlock the screen after
the activation. Put the finger on sym ol „Lock“ on
the screen and move it Up, left (for calling) or to the
right (camera).The screen will e unlocked.
Android system
Your mo ile phone is provided with the Android
operating system. The mo ile phone is in fact a
small personal computer which can e connected to
internet and in which you can install a lot of various
applications free of charge (via Google Play).

Basic manipulation
Meaning of the buttons (1) to (3)
(1) Launched applications/Menu – serves to
display a list of recently opened applications.
After a long press displays the menu of items
availa le on the current screen or in a running
application
(2) Main screen – short press for return to the
main screen, long press helps to display the
Goggle search.
(3) Back – serves to move ack y one step/level
(or to go to the preceding screen, to close the
options, dialog windows on the screen etc.)
System control
Your mo ile phone can e controlled y the a ove
mentioned uttons ut mainly with the use of the
touch screen.
Just click on the selected item to confirm the item
on the screen, to confirm the dialog windows or
graphical uttons on the screen.

Google account
You need to have adjusted Google account for the
proper use of the system. The account can e
created very easily :
1. Click on the icon Settings
2. Select the option Accounts + select Add account
3. Further follow the instructions on the screen
Main screen
Same as on your PC you have availa le a main
screen on the mo ile phone. The main screen is
devided into several pages that can e displayed y
moving of your finger to the left/right direction. You
can place shortcuts of applications and links or
widgets on the main screen. Widgets are mini-
applications that ena le to display some data,
control elements like watches, weather, charging
controll etc.
Applications
All installed applications can e displayed y the
utton placed in the centre of the ottom part of
the main screen.

In the asic equipment of the mo ile phone there
are applications for making calls, sending SMS,
emails ut also for other useful and entertaining
applications.
There are thousands of various applications suita le
for Android system ut not all of them can work
properly in your mo ile phone. Before uying of
any new application please try first its gratis version
if it works correctly in your mo ile phone.
Information and display of status
So called status ar is placed in the upper part of
the screen. You may find here the information
a out time, attery level and signal ut also other
useful information. For example the information
a out new SMS, information a out the system or
applications. Status ar can e moved down y your
finger or rolled. You will get a detailed overview
a out all announcements and information including
the possi ility of a quick control of some mo ile
functions.
Mobile phone setup
All items of the telephone set up are clearly
arranged at the settings menu. Press the utton

Setup on the home page and make desired
changes.
Making calls
Dialling
Click on the earphone icon on the main screen.
Screen with keypad for num er dialling will e
displayed. Tap the key oard icon at the ottom of
the screen to display the key oard.
You can enter the tel.num er with the use of the
keypad uttons. Similarly as on the common
telephone there are the letters displayed on the
uttons so you can enter also the name.
The dialled num er and all corresponding items of
the tel.directory will e displayed after entering of
the letters on the keys of the screen.
At the ottom part of the screen you can find the
calling utton with a sym ol of the head-phone.
You can dial the num er y its pressing and make
your call.

Answer and reject the call
If some ody is calling you the information a out his
telephone num er and a utton with the receiver is
displayed on the screen (if availa le)
To answer the call : move the utton to the right
towards the sym ol of a Green receiver
To reject the call : move the utton to the left
towards the sym ol of a Red receiver
When working with your phone the call alert
appears as a dialog ox with uttons for admission
("Answer") or rejection of the call ("Close").
Call flow and finish of the call
The screen will automatically switch off when the
mo ile phone is attached to the ear. After the delay
from the ear the screen will switch on within few
seconds. The call can be finished y pressing of the
Red button on the screen.
SMS messages
1. Click on the icon of Messages on the lower
side of the main screen or open the screen

with applications and select the item Sending
messages
2. A list of conversations containing received and
sent SMS and MMS messages will e
displayed.
3. Select the icon New message on the left
ottom side of the screen.
4. Now you can insert the receiver of the text
message.
5. To send the text message press the arrow
utton placed on the right side of the text.
Choice of SIM card for caling, SMS and
internet
You can choose which SIM card will e used for
calls, SMS and internet/data access. Press the Setup
icon on the main screen and select SIM card.

Choice of network by the difficulty with
connectivity
You can choose whether your phone will use a 2G
network, 3G or 4G, respectively you can switch
etween them automatically.
If you have pro lems with access to calls or you can
not e called despite showing sufficient signal,
restart mo ile phone and possi ly temporarily
disa le the 4G network connection:
Tap on the main screen and select Settings icon in
the Wireless connection & networks click Next.
Next select the Mobile networks and select
preferred network type for each SIM card. Now
select GSM / WCDMA auto (2G / 3G) or GSM only
(2G only).
Photography
Start the camera y tapping the camera icon or
press and hold the side utton (10). Aim the camera
at the scene and tap your finger on the screen to
the point that you want to focus.

After focusing the scene you can take a picture y
pressing the shutter utton on the side of the
display. Attention! Always perform focus or wait for
automatic focus and then press the shutter utton
otherwise the images will e lurred.
PC connection
For connection to the common PC you do not need
any special drivers (Vista, 7, event. newer). Follow
these steps :
1. Connect the mo ile phone with PC with the
enclosed ca el
2. Drag the status ar down and click on the line
„Connected as...“
3. Menu of the connection mode will e opened.
We recommend to use the device mode for
media MTP.
4. Su sequently, the phone will connect to a PC
as a "Media device"
5. Internal storage in your phone and inserted
MicroSD card will e connected to a computer
in the file “Computer”, in section “Porta le
Devices” and under the name “ALIGATOR
RX500”

Connection can e cancelled y disconnecting of
the ca le.
Safety and ecology

Mo ile phone is an electronic
appliance. It means it must not e
manipulated as a common residential
waste. Never throw the used device away at the
common municipal waste!!! Hand over the electric
devices to the respective collection point which
provides the ecological liquidation.
Battery liquidation
sed/old batteries and accumulators do not
belong to the common residential waste !!!
Hand over the attery or electric devices
to the respective collection point which
provides the ecological liquidation.
Please contact your dealer to get more information
how to deal with the used products. Do not put
the attery at the fire and do not expose it to the
temperature over +60°C (danger of explosion or
fire)
