well as operating and maintenance advice. Observe all safety
instructions to avoid damage through improper use! Keep
this instruction manual for future use. Should this product be
passed on to a third party, then this instruction manual must
be included.
• No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from
improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check
that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds
with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating
label.
• This product contains no user serviceable parts and requires
little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified
personnel only.
• Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance
from the electrical outlet and contact your retailer if it is
damaged.

malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by

• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while
standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with
wet hands.
• Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances.
Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the casing.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and
might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and
accessories.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the
power cord and do not wrap the power cord around the
appliance.
• Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not
in use, before any maintenance and before cleaning.
• This product is classified as protection class II. This means
the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation
between the mains supply circuit and the output voltage or
the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection
to an electrical earth (ground).
• Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked.
Keep ventilation openings free from the accumulation of lint,
dust, and loose cloth.

Vacuum Cleaner Warnings

Intended Use
• This appliance is only intended for vacuuming of dust, lint and general dirt on soft
and hard surfaces. Do not use it for vacuuming ashes, sharp objects e.g. glass or
to suck up liquids or other flammable substances.
• The appliance is intended for private indoor use only.
• Use the appliance only as described in this manual.

Before First Use
• Carefully remove all packaging materials and retain for future use.
• Check for transport damages.

• Insert the flexible hose into the hose intake at the front of the appliance and
turn it clockwise till it is locked securely.

• Insert the handle of flexible hose into the extension tube .

• Push the tube release switch while pulling out the bottom part of the extension
tube to adjust the length.

• Insert the extension tube into the connector of the hard floor brush (or other
accessory).
Operation

• Connect the power plug to an electrical outlet.

• Set the power suction control to MIN.
• Press the on/off button to power on the appliance.

• Use the power suction control on the main unit or flexible hose handle / to
increase/decrease suction power.

• After cleaning, press the on/off button to power off the appliance.
• Unplug the cable and press the cable winder switch to roll back the
powercable.
NOTICE Hold the power cable with one hand and slowly accompany it while
it is rolled back into storage.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING Always disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet
before cleaning or storing.
Cleaning
• Remove any accessory attached to the extension tube or flexible hose .
• Dislodge the flexible hose from the hose intake by turning it
counterclockwise and then remove it.
• Clean the appliance and accessories with a slightly moistened cloth. Do not allow
any liquid enter the appliance’s interior.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp
utensils to clean the appliance or accessories.
• Carefully dry the appliance and accessories after cleaning.

Replacing the Dust Bag
NOTICE When the dust bag full indicator turns red, the dust bag must be
replaced.
• Open the front cover.
• Pull the dust bag upwards and remove it from the dust bag compartment.
Paper dust bag (Disposable) • Dispose of the old bag.
• Replace with a new one (provided) of the
sametype.
Fabric dust bag
(Notdisposable)
• Empty into a plastic bag or a trash bin.
• Put it back in place.
NOTICE Fabric dust bags (provided) can
also be purchased separately.
• Compatible with the following dustbags:
AmazonBasics G51, Swirl Y05, Menalux 1840
and more.
Cleaning the Motor Filter
• Open the front cover and remove the dust bag.
• Pull the motor filter upwards to remove it.
• Rinse the filter with tap water to remove dust build-up and other residue.
• Let the filter dry. Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
• Slide the filter back in.

Cleaning the HEPA Filter
• Pull the tab on the right side of the exhaust grid
outwards and remove the grid.
• Pull the tab on top of the filter downwards and remove
the HEPA filter .
• Rinse the filter under cold water.
• Dry it afterwards.
• Put the filter back in place and reinstall the exhaust grid.
NOTICE Never use the appliance without filters installed. This can
cause power loss or damage to the appliance.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The appliance does not start. • Connect the power plug properly.
• Check if the electrical outlet is powered.
• Check if the on/off switch is on.
Weak suction power. • Check if the flexible hose, extension tube or
any of the accessories are obstructed.
• Remove and clean the filters.
Motor is abnormally noisy. • Stop using the appliance immediately.
• Check if the hose, tube or any of the
accessories are obstructed.
• Remove the obstruction.
• If the noise continues, power off the appliance
and disconnect the power plug.
• Contact your service agents.

Dismantling for Maintenance
1. Hose, extension tube, dust bag, exhaust grid, filter and all accessories can be
disassembled or detached without any tools.
2. Front cover, cable winder, switch, power suction control and on/off button can be
disassembled by using a screwdriver.
3. PCB, power cord and motor compartment could be accessed by removing 7
screws on the main unit (6 screws on the bottom and 1 beneath the handle cover
on right lower lateral).
4. Motor unit can be accessed by loosening the screws on the motor compartment.

de ce produit à un tiers, le présent manuel d’utilisation doit

• Avant de brancher l’appareil à la source d’alimentation

• Insérez le flexible d’aspiration dans l’orifice du flexible d’aspiration à l’avant
de l’appareil et tournez-le dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’il
soit solidement fixé.
