READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
Important safeguards
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with
this type of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk
of re, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual
in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card,
purchase receipt and carton. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the
next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and
accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance, including
the following:
Electrical safety and cord handling
• Make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the
voltage stated on the appliance rating label and your outlet socket is
earthed.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer.
• Avoid the use of extension cords. Serious injuries may result from a product
being pulled off a countertop. If it is necessary to use an extension cord,
make sure the extension cord is safe to use and capable of handing the
electrical load of the product (refer to rating plate).
• To protect against re and electric shock, injury and material damage,
protect the appliance from water. Do not immerse the cord, plug or the
appliance in water or other liquids. Do not expose it to water, rain, moisture
or any other liquids during use or storage.
• Never operate this product with wet hands or spill liquids into the product.
• If the product falls into water, immediately unplug it from the electrical outlet.
Do not touch it or reach into the water.
• Do not kink, bend, squash, strain or damage the power cord and protect it
from sharp edges. Do not let the power supply cord hang near or over the
edge of a table or benchtop. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces when
it is in use. Run the cord in such a way that there will be no risk of anyone
pulling it inadvertently or tripping over it.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised
service centre, as special tools are required. In such a case, contact the
after sales support line for advice on repair or return of the damaged
product.
• Do not pick up or operate the appliance if the power supply cord, plug or
housing is damaged, or after it malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet when it is not in
use and before cleaning or moving the appliance. Grip by the plug, do not
pull by the cord.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Before using the Stick Hand Blender, make sure you know how it functions
and how to operate it.
• Maintain this appliance in accordance with the instructions to ensure that it
functions properly.

Usage conditions and restrictions
• The blender is exclusively designed for blending liquids, mixing soft
ingredients, and puréeing soft ingredients. It is only intended for private use
and not suitable for commercial purposes.
• Only use the blender as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property.
• These appliances can cause injuries if they are misused. The manufacturer
or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred through improper or
incorrect use.
• This appliance is intended for domestic/household use only. It is neither
suitable for commercial/industrial nor for outdoor use.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use: food
preparation.
• All accessories are not intended to be used for food storage.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the
product distributor may cause personal injury or material damage.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
• Always operate the product on a dry, level benchtop surface, in a well
ventilated area, well away from walls and ammable materials etc. Avoid
operating the product on metal surfaces such as a sink draining board.
• Never reach to retrieve the blender if it has fallen into water. In such a case,
immediately disconnect the power plug.
• To avoid the risk of re, never use this product if it is covered.
• Do not operate this appliance in the presence of explosive and/or ammable
liquids or fumes such as where aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Never insert any objects into the housing.
• Always switch the blender off and unplug it when you are not using it, when
you intend to clean it, or in the event of a malfunction.
• Never carry or hang the appliance by the cord. When storing the product,
loosely coil the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
CAUTION: The appliance has no user-serviceable parts contained inside. Do
not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify it.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
• A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
• Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
- If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be
a grounding 3-wire cord; and:
- The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over
the countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over unintentionally.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.

Getting started
Before rst use
• Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging materials until you have made
sure your new Stick Hand Blender is undamaged and in good working order.
Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children,
so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
• Do not use for prolonged periods of more than 25 seconds periods. Allow the
blender to cool down in between uses.
• Read this manual to familiarize yourself with all the parts and operating
principles of the Stick Hand Blender. Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions on the previous pages.
• Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply.
• Thoroughly clean all parts of the blender before rst use as described in the
chapter 'Care and Cleaning'. Dry thoroughly.
• Improper handling of the blender may result in damage to the blender.
• Unwind the power cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not
use the appliance if the appliance or its cord have been damaged. In case of
damage, contact our after sales support line for advice on examination, repair
or return of the damaged product.
• NOTE: The unit may emit a slight smell or smoke when it is rst used. This
is due to the components being new and can be disregarded safely.
It is no cause for concern. Leave the unit powered on for a few
minutes until all odor and smoke has dissipated.
Risk of injury!
• The cutting blades are very sharp, mishandling them may lead to bodily injury.
• Never touch the blades when the blender is plugged in.
• If the blades get stuck, unplug the blender before removing the ingredients
that are blocking the blades.

Using the Stick Hand Blender
The hand blender is intended for blending liquids, e.g., dairy products, sauces,
fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks, and shakes; for mixing soft ingredients; and for
puréeing cooking ingredients, e.g., for making baby food. To use the hand blender,
proceed as follows:
Using the Whisk
The whisk is intended for whipping cream, beating eggs, and mixing cake-mix and
ready-mix desserts.

1. Attach the blender bar 8to the motor unit 4, making sure that it
clicks into place.
2. Put the ingredients in the mixing cup 10 .
3. Immerse the blade guard 7completely in the ingredients.
4. Press the normal speed button 2or the turbo speed button 3to
turn on the blender.
5. NOTE: The blending speed can also be adjusted using the speed
dial (speeds 1 -6) 1.
6. Move the blender slowly up and down and in circles to blend the
ingredients.
7. To remove the blender bar, press both side buttons 5& 6
simultaneously with one hand while pulling the blender
bar 8 away with the other.
1. Insert the whisk 9 into the whisk gear box 11 .
2. Insert the motor unit 4 into the whisk gear box until it locks.
3. Place the whisk in a bowl and, only then, press the normal speed
button 2 to turn the whisk on.
4. Start with a slow speed setting. Then, for faster whisking, press the turbo speed
button 3.
5. NOTE: The blending speed can also be adjusted using the speed dial
(speeds 1 -6) 1.
6. For best results, hold the mixer at an angle while whisking.
7. To remove the whisk, press both of the side buttons 5& 6simultaneously
and pull off the whisk gear box.
8. Then pull the whisk 9 out of the whisk gear box 11 .
NOTE: Only whisk up to about 1 ½ cups of chilled cream
(min. 30% fat content at 40 - 46 °F) at a time.
Only whip up to 2 whole eggs at one time.

Care and cleaning
• After use, unplug the Stick Hand Blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
Grip the plug, do not pull on the cord.
CAUTION: Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard
scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces.
1. Disassemble all the parts.
2. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the motor unit and the whisk gear box.
3. Clean the mixing cup, blade guard, blades and whisk in warm water with some
dish soap.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
The blades are very sharp, mishandling them may lead to bodily injury.
• Never touch the blades when the blender is plugged in.
• Be especially careful during cleaning.
WARNING: Never submerge the appliance in water for cleaning.
• Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.
• Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
• Never immerse the motor unit in water.
• Never immerse the whisk gear box in water.
• If necessary, wipe the outside of the Stick Hand Blender with a slightly damp
cloth, but make sure the cloth is not too wet to leave water residues. After wiping
down the appliance with the damp cloth, use a dry cloth or paper towel to dry it
thoroughly.
• Do not put the motor unit or the whisk gear box in the dishwasher, as this will
destroy it.
Storing
• For storage, make sure the unit is clean and dry. When storing the product,
loosely coil the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. Store in a cool,
dry location.

If the appliance is damaged, do not attempt to repair it yourself. There are
no spare parts available for purchase. Contact our after sales support center to
arrange for examination or repair of the product, if necessary.

household trash. Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can
have a detrimental effect on the environment and human health if disposed
of inappropriately. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of

licuar ingredientes blandos. Está destinada solamente para el uso privado y
no es adecuada para nes comerciales.
• Utilice la licuadora solamente como se describe en el manual del usuario.
Cualquier otro uso se considera inadecuado y puede dañar el producto.
• Este aparato puede causar lesiones si se usa incorrectamente. El fabricante
o el vendedor no se hacen responsables por los daños ocasionados por el
uso indebido o inadecuado.

• Hay disponibles cables eléctricos desmontables más largos o cables de

El cable más largo debe colocarse de manera que no cuelgue del

Este aparato posee un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que la
otra).
Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe entra en el
tomacorriente polarizado en un solo sentido. Si el enchufe no entra
completamente en el tomacorriente, gire el enchufe. Si aun así no encaja,

Antes del primer uso
• Desempaque el aparato, pero guarde todos los materiales de empaque hasta

Uso de la licuadora de mano
La licuadora de mano está diseñada para batir líquidos como productos lácteos,
salsas, jugos de fruta, sopas, mezclas de bebidas y batidos; mezclar ingredientes
blandos; y licuar ingredientes para preparar purés como papillas para bebés. Para
usar la licuadora de mano, proceda del siguiente modo:
Uso de la batidora
La batidora está pensada para montar nata, batir huevos, mezclar bizcochos y
mezclas preparadas para postres.

1. Inserte la batidora 9 en la transmisión de la batidora 11 .
2. Meta la unidad del motor 4 en la transmisión de la batidora y asegúrese de
que queda ja en su lugar.
3. Introduzca la batidora en un cuenco y, solo entonces, presione el botón de
velocidad normal 3 para activarla.
4. Comience a velocidad baja. A continuación, para batir más rápido,
presione el botón de velocidad turbo 3.
5. NOTA: La velocidad de licuado también se puede ajustar con el control de
velocidad (velocidades 1-6) 1.
6. Para optimizar los resultados, mantenga batidora en ángulo mientras bata.

Cuidado y limpieza
• Después de usarla, desenchufe la licuadora de mano equipo del tomacorriente
antes de limpiarla. Agarre el enchufe, no tire del cable.
PRECAUCIÓN: No utilice productos de limpieza agresivos, cepillos con cerdas
de metal o nailon ni utensilios de limpieza filosos o metálicos,
como cuchillos, raspadores duros y similares. Podrían dañar las
superficies.
1. Desarme todas las piezas.
2. Utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar la unidad del motor y la transmisión de la
licuadora.
3. Limpie el recipiente de mezcla, el protector de las cuchillas, las cuchillas y la
batidora en agua tibia con jabón para vajilla.
