TheBMG500seriescanbeplacedonadesktop,mountedonthewallormountedonaDIN‐rail.The
DIN‐railbracketisnotscrewedontheproductwhenoutoffactory.PleasescrewtheDIN‐railbracketon
theproductfirstifnecessary.
1.6.2InserttheSIMCard
WARNING:BEFOREINSERTINGORCHANGINGTHESIMCARD,PLEASEMAKE
SURETHATPOWEROFTHEDEVICEISSWITCHEDOFF.
TheSIMcardslotsarelocatedattherightsideofIDG500 serieshousinginordertoprotecttheSIMcard.
YouneedtounscrewandremovetheouterSIMcardcoverbeforeinstallingorremovingtheSIMcard.
PleasefollowtheinstructionstoinsertorejectaSIMcard.AfterSIMcardiswellplaced,screwbackthe
outerSIMcardcover.
Step 1:
Loosen the screws as
below and remove
the SIM cover.

Push the SIM card
into the slot 1 (SIM-

card again to eject it

transmissionspeedonthenetworkandconfigureitselfautomatically.ConnectoneEthernetcableto
theRJ45port(LAN)ofthedeviceandpluganotherendoftheEthernetcableintoyourcomputer’s
networkport.Inthisway,youcanusetheRJ45EthernetcabletoconnectthedevicetothehostPC’s
Ethernetportforconfiguringthedevice.
