3. Direct-on Attachment
The extended arm table attaches ‘direct-on’to the trolley by hooking onto the side bar,
see Fig.2. It is designed to fit both British and Euro side rail. To secure the arm table,
rotate the locking clamp handles 90° either clockwise or anti-clockwise; (A) Fig.3.
WARNING: It is recommended both locking clamp handles are in the locked
position before using the product to prevent any possible movement during
surgery.
4. Using the Adjustable Support Leg
The adjustable leg is stored in the clips on the underside of the arm table and can be
used to add extra stability during surgery (item 1, Fig.1).
First, insert the leg into the location boss until it ‘clicks’ into place (item 3, Fig.1). Grasp
the adjustable leg just below the locking mechanism (item 2, Fig.1), and using your
thumb lift the mechanism to release the lock. In a controlled manner lower the leg until
it meets the floor and release the lock. To remove the leg from the location boss, grip
the leg by the locking mechanism and pull firmly; failure to pull from the locking
mechanism will cause the leg to extend.
WARNING: The adjustable support leg must be removed or reduced in length
before lowering the table, failure to do so will result in damage to the arm
table, the trolley and possible injury to the patient and user.
