AFTER USE
• Setthevariablesteam

• Removethemainsplug
from the wall socket and
wait for the soleplate to
cool down completely.
• Pouroutthewater
contained in the water
tank by shaking it.
SELF-CLEANING
• Theselfcleaningsystemtobeusedatregular
intervals (once or twice a month) will prolong the
life of your iron,and protect it from the formation
of lime and dust particles.
• FillthewatertankwithwatertotheMax point.
• Placetheirononaatsurface,intheupright
position standing it on its heel.
• Setthetemperatureswitchthepositionmax.
• Insertthemainsplugintothewallsocket.Waituntiltemperatureswitch
goes out and your iron reaches the required temperature.
• Unplugtheironfromwallsocket.
• Hold the iron with
its soleplate facing
downwards, over a
sink or bathtub.
• Presstheselfclean
button down and keep
it at downward position
for a few minutes.
ATTENTION: While pressing the self-clean button,the boiled water and
steam will come out through the holes under the soleplate,protecting
your appliance against any formation of lime and scale.
• Movetheironforwardandbackwarduntiltheremainingwaterinthe
water tank is discharged completely.
• Standyourironintheuprightpositionandinserttheplugintothe
power supply and let the iron heat up.
• Cleanthesoleplatemovingtheironoveracleancloth.Then,letthe
remaining water on the soleplate evaporate,and remove the plug from
the wall socket.
SHOT OF STEAM
• Whenandifrequired,inordertosupplymoresteamyoucanironquite
easily your hard iron able and
too wrinkly cloths through
shot of steam during both
steam and dry ironing.
• Lifttheironslightlyabove
the surface of the fabric
depress the shot of steam
button for 3 to 5 seconds,and
then release.Steam flow will
begin after releasing the button.
VERTICAL STEAM
• Setthetemperaturecontroldialtothe
position max,and the variable steam button
to the position max.Stand against the cloths
and curtains that you would iron in the vertical
position.Depress the shot of steam button.
WARNING: Never attempt to iron any cloths
when worn by you or others.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY SHUT-OFF IN 3
STEPS
• Theautomaticsafetyshut-offdevicewillautomaticallycuttheheating
off, when the iron operates without move for a while, and the iron will be
turned off.
• Yourironwillautomaticallyturnoff,ifitisleft:
- Upright approx. 8-10 minutes, or
- Horizontally or sideward for approx. 25-30 seconds.
Thepowerindicatorlightwillblinkandanacousticalarmsignalappears.
By moving the iron, it will automatically turn on again.
• Eveniftheironisshutoff,thetanklightwillstaylightedup.Bymoving,
the iron will automatically turn on again.
• Whenyourironstaysinautomaticoffmodeoveronehour,itwillstart
to cool down. In such cases you have to adjust the temperature level of
your iron by pressing the + button.
