OPERATION
When the Big Yellow Button is pressed the case will press down on the
Blue button contained inside and activate the alert system. Pressing the
button on the Wrist Panic Button or on Base unit will also activate the
alert system. Upon activation, the Base unit will dial the (3) preset
numbers automatically in the order they were programmed. It will call
each number for (45) seconds. The system will repeatedly play the
outgoing message until the receiver presses ANY button on their phone. If
the receiver does not answer the phone, it will keep dialing for (5) cycles
and then will stop and no longer call any numbers.
When the receiver answers the call from the system, they will hear the pre-
recorded message. The receiver of the call can then open up two-way
communication and listen to the caller’s surroundings by pressing ANY
number on their telephone keypad. After communicating for
approximately (45) seconds, the receiver will hear (3) “beep” tones to
advise the receiver to extend the talk and listen time. Receiver can extend
the time by pressing any number on their keypad to extend for another
(60) seconds. When the conversation is over, the Base unit will go back to
standby mode. The time to go back into standby mode can take up to
several minutes. If the call is answered, the Base unit will stop dialing the
remaining contacts.
