ACTIVE ARMING – LOCK & ARM:
1 . P r e s s button on transmitter.
2. The siren will chirp once and the parking lights will flash once indicating
that the system is now armed. The vehicle doors will lock upon arming
when interfaced with the security system.
Note: Defective sensor reminder: If the siren sounds 3 chirps, thenyou
have left a door, trunk, or hood lid ajar.
SILENT ARMING / DISARMING: Press the +button together on the
transmitter to arm or disarm your security system, No chirp sound will be
heard; arm / disarm confirmation will be through the vehicles parking lights
only.
SHOCK SENSOR / OPTIONAL SENSOR BY-PASS: Pressing the button
on the transmitter twice within 3 seconds will arm the security system, and
will by-pass the shock sensor or the optional sensor connected to 4 pin plug.
The systemwillchirp one additionaltime toconfirmthesensor bypass mode
was activated. The sensor bypass feature is programmed to activate for one
arming cycle only. The security system will return to normal operation during
the next arming cycle 4

PASSIVE ARMING: (Available option – see your installing dealer)
Active arming / disarming is controlling your security system via the remote
transmitter. This security system is equipped with an optional Passive
Arming feature, which allows the security system to arm 30 seconds after
the last door is closed. Operation is as follows.
1 . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n t o t h e “ O F F ” p o s i t i o n a n d e x i t t h e v e h i c l e .
2 . A f t e r a l l e n t r a n c e s a r e c l o s e d , t h e s e c u r i t y s y s t e m L E D w i l l f l a s h f a s t
for 30 seconds. If you reopen any door / hood / trunk, the security
system LED will stop flashing. It will begin flashing again once all
vehicle entrances are closed.
3 . A f t e r 3 0 - s e c o n d t i m e r h a s e l a p s e d , t h e s e c u r i t y s y s t e m w i l l
automatically “ARM”. The siren will chirp [1] time and the parking lights
will flash [1] time.
PASSIVE DOOR LOCKING: (Available option – see your installing dealer)
The vehicle doors will automatically lock after passive arming cycle has been
completed.
PASSIVE ARMING BYPASS
To temporarily bypass the Passive Arming function via the Remote Control
Transmitterforonearming cycle,pressthe button twice after exiting the
vehicle. The Security System will confirm with 1 short chirp. Passive
operationwillberestoredoncethesystemisarmedbythetransmitter.
ACTIVEDISARMING – UNLOCK & DISARM:
1 . P r e s s t h e button on the transmitter.
2 . T h e s i r e n w i l l c h i r p t w i c e a n d p a r k i n g l i g h t s w i l l f l a s h t w i c e t o i n d i c a t e t h a t
the security system is now disarmed. The vehicle doors will unlock and
disarm when interfaced withthe security system.
TAMPERDISARMING: If the alarm is triggered; upon disarming the system,
the siren will chirp 4 times and parking lights will flash 3 times.
TWO STEP DOOR UNLOCK: This feature will independently unlock the
driver’s door only when disarming the security system. Pushing the button
on the transmitter a second time within 3 seconds will unlock the entire
vehicle.
AUTOMATICRE-ARM
If this feature is selected, the security system will automatically re-arm itself
60 seconds after disarming with remote transmitter. Automatic rearm will
cancel if any door is opened before the 60 seconds timer has elapsed.
DOMELIGHT ILLUMINATED ENTRY(OPTIONAL)
Your Car Pro Vehicle Security System is equipped with a domelight
illuminated entry feature which will turn on the vehicles interior lights for 30
seconds after the Security System is disarmed / unlocked. This feature will
reset once the vehicles ignition is turned “ON” or if the Security System is re-
armed.

DISARMING WITHOUT A TRANSMITTER
The Override function may be used if the remote transmitter is lost or
inoperative.

The alarm will stop sounding and enter the disarm mode. You can now
start and operate the vehicle normally.
VALET MODE:
The valet switch allows you to temporarily bypass all alarm function,
eliminating the need to hand your transmitter to parking attendants or
garage mechanics. When the system is in valet mode, all alarm functions
are bypassed, however, the remote panic feature and remote door locks
will remain operational.
Enter Valet Mode:
1 . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n t o “ O N ” p o s i t i o n .
2 . P u s h a n d h o l d v a l e t s w i t c h f o r 2 s e c o n d s o r u n t i l t h e L E D t u r n s o n .
The LED will remain on as long as the system is in 'valet mode'.
ExitValetMode:
1 . R e t u r n t o n o r m a l o p e r a t i o n , t u r n i g n i t i o n ' O N ' .
2 . P u s h a n d h o l d v a l e t s w i t c h f o r 2 s e c o n d s ; t h e L E D w i l l t u r n o f f
indicating the system is exiting the valet mode.
PANIC FUNCTION:
The transmitter can be used as a remote panic switch to manually trigger
the alarm in case of emergency.
1 . P r e s s a n d h o l d t h e button on the transmitter for 3 seconds. The
alarm will immediately sound.
2 . T o s t o p t h e a l a r m , p r e s s a n d h o l d t h e or button on the transmitter,
the panic mode will be turned off immediately.
3 . I f t h e b u t t o n i s n o t p r e s s e d , t h e a l a r m w i l l a u t o m a t i c a l l y s t o p a f t e r 3 0
seconds.
TRIGGER THE SYSTEM
When armed, your vehicle is protected as follows:
1 . L i g h t i m p a c t s w i l l t r i g g e r t h e w a r n - a w a y s i g n a l . A l o n g c h i r p f r o m
siren/horn.
2 . H e a v y i m p a c t s / D o o r s o p e n / H o o d o p e n / T r u n k o p e n / T u r n i n g o n t h e
ignition switch-All will trigger the programmed sequence.
The starter disable relay (if installed) prevents the vehicle’s starter from
cranking. The siren and parking lights will turn on to alert of an intrusion for
30 seconds. Then the siren will stop and automatically reset and re-arm.If
any the sensors or detectors are still active, the alarm system will sound a
maximum of six-30second cycles.
PATHWAY ILLUMINATION (OPTIONAL)
When disarming the vehicle, the parking lights will stay on illuminating your
pathway to the vehicle. The parking lights will stay on for 30 seconds or
ignition “On”, whichever comes first?

ANTICAR-JACKING
Warning:If you don't need the car jacking function in this alarm system, be
sure to set car jacking feature “OFF”. This system is default setting Car-
jacking “OFF”. (Available optional – see installing dealer)
1. T RA NS MI TTER A CTIVA T E THE C AR JACKI N G:
Press and hold + button on the transmitter for 1 second while the
vehicle’s ignition is ON. The parking light wills turns on for 1.5” seconds to
indicate car jacking activated.
2. DOOR SWITCH ACTIVATE CAR JACKI N G :
1 . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h t o “ O N ” p o s i t i o n , t h e s y s t e m i s a r m e d .
2 . O n c e t h e s y s t e m i s a r m e d , i f y o u a r e f o r c e d f r o m t h e v e h i c l e , t h e s y s t e m
will active the car jacking trigger when the door is opened and closed
while the ignition is “ON”.
TRIGGER THE CAR JACK MODE:
3-timer circuits will function as follows:
First timer:
a . 5 0 s e c o n d s a f t e r t h e s y s t e m h a s b e e n t r i g g e r e d . T h e s i r e n w i l l s t a r t
chirping for 15 seconds.
b . D u r i n g t h i s 1 5 s e c o n d s p e r i o d o f c h i r p i n g , y o u w i l l b e a l e r t i n g t o p u s h
the valet switch once to turn off the car-jacking feature.
c. Ifnot,itwillentersecondtimercarjacking.
Secondtimer:
65 seconds after the system has been triggered. The siren starts
alarming and the parking light starts flashing.
Third timer:
90 seconds after the system has been triggered

OVERRIDE THE SYSTEMTO TURN OFFCARJACKING:
Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON, and within 10 seconds push valet
switch, the siren will stop and the system disarmed
IGNITION CONTROL DOOR LOCKS. (Optional)
If the vehicle’s door locks have been interfaced to the security system, the
system will automatically lock the vehicle's doors when the ignition is turned
“ON” and /or unlock the vehicle’s doors when the ignition is turned “OFF”.
TRUNK RELEASE. (Optional)
Press and hold button on transmitter for two seconds to remote control
the trunk release or other electric devices.
3RD CHANNEL AUXILIARY (Optional)
Press the + buttons together to operate the 3
rd channel auxiliary
output.
CAR LOCATOR
Press the + buttons together on the transmitter to active car locator
function. The siren will chirp 6 times. The parking light will flash 12 times,
allowing you to easily locate your car.
