port on each access point or receiver. Attach
the transmitter and access points to their power
supplies and appropriate powersources and

LAN Settings page to hide them from other
wireless clients.
7Sending Video
Connect a source device to the transmitter
and a display device to each receiver. Activate
all devices and verify output on each display.
Helpful status information is available in the
Connection Status and Media LAN Performance
web pages on the transmitter/access point.
8Extender Placement and Mounting
Without firmly mounting the units, place the
transmitter and receivers in their desired
locations and re-attach the source and display
devices.Turn the units on and allow them to
bind. You may need to reposition the units
and antennas to obtain optimal performance.
Tuning suggestions are provided in the Emerge
MPXExtender Installer User Guide. Best
performance is obtained when all antennas
are similarly oriented and aligned on the same
horizontal plane.When the extension network
is performing properly, secure the units in place
without altering their orientation.
